What is going on with the mail? My invitations are just arriving to the guest and the party happened 3 weeks ago. I also ordered packages to be delivered for the party and they did not arrive.

I am highly ticked off right now. There was a package that was supposed to be delivered yesterday that couldn't be delivered due to size and I have a gate on my property. I left a note today in the mailbox to leave at the back door and I am home and have the gate open. She wrote me a note and said "if you leave the gate open tomorrow I can bring it back." so she didn't even have it with her today. That is not the proper way to deliver packages by assuming the same circumstance for the next day. Now, I have to wait another day to receive my package. I'm not driving all the way to town in order to get my package that SHOULD HAVE been delivered today!
