We are having problems with our mail being put in our neighbors mailbox. other neighbors are having the same problem. Makes me wonder who else is getting our mail and never telling us.
I’ve been trying to have an issue resolved with this branch for over a month now. I purchased a vehicle and was waiting for the tag to be delivered. I filled out a change of address form and spoke to the branch to ensure they hold the tag and forward my vehicle tag after the 7-10 day process. I’ve been calling and calling (the branch, the postal service hotline, customer care, and they all pass me around and tell me they can’t help me, just to visit the branch or check the mailbox of my old address - which I don’t have the key to. We moved and I returned the keys to the owner. The owner has not notified me of any mail. My tag expires today, and I am unsure of who can get this issue resolved. I’ve contacted the tag office and they say they can’t help until someone turns in my tag.
Our regular carrier is wonderful. When he is out on the job, we have no complaints. However he has been out for a number of weeks. We have had some of the similar problems as other people have stated. Our substitute carrier jams as much as possible into the box. We live about a quarter of a mile from our mailbox; it is well out of site. We have had packages left on the ground many times. We have received notices that delivery was attempted numerous times. This is very hard to believe since we are always home. The people in Blue Ridge just seem to don’t care about customer service. They just give a cursory glance to see if they can find our package.
My regular carrier is the laziest human being I have ever seen. Asking him to get out of his care is like asking Moses to part the sea.
Last week he he forced an Amazon package into my mail bow that did not fit. I had to cut the box aprt just to get it out of my mail box.
Today, he just threw a package in the dirt, next to my mail box. My box is 175 yards away from my house , and cannot be seen from the house. With the rash of porch pirates cruising he area; you would think he could at least put packages on the porch.
Call to complain? Impossible; the line is always busy.
These people make an outrageous amount of money; they should find somebody capable of making proper deliveries.
I love Everyone here @Blue Ridge PO. Always kind an ready to help U out. They now serve 9ur Morganton area. We have a Morganton PO an a Mineral Bluff PO. My PO box 8s in Mineral Bluff an live these guys to. All of them go above and beyond there job an R friendly an very helpful. GOD bless each of U
As stated below there I have had several issues with the subs working out of the Blue Ridge PO. When my regular carrier is working everything is wonderful. But when she isn't working its a crap shoot. Latest example I ordered something from Amazon and it was delivered yesterday on Sunday. Could have been left in the mail box, (small package) but was brought to the door. Very much appreciated. I was also scheduled to receive a delivery from Amazon today it was a computer. Tracking info states Delivery attempted - mailbox was full. This was not true. There was no attempt to deliver because the package came out of Blue Ridge and would not have been delivered before 12PM. What irritates me is I continue go to Blue Ridge post office to complain and all I get is we are sorry. I know USPS has a contract with Amazon so this may be a breech of contract not sure don't care. What I care about is carriers (subs) falsifying the tracking info. This has to stop. I would not be surprised if this isn't fraud. If you can't or don't want to deliver the package then just tell me in the tracking were to get it.
I have noticed my mail for the last 3 months has been consistently getting later for delivery - up and into the 6 p.m. hour. Now, mail that is normally delivered to me on Fridays has been getting to me on Saturdays. What is the problem at the Blue Ridge GA location to make this unnecessary? Are the officials forcing citizens to obtain mailboxes?!!!! I know they want to up the price for stamps but it seems the service is getting worse. WHO ELSE CAN THIS BE REPORTED TO?
Have you ever tried to call the Blue Ridge PO? You could reach the White House easier! Their phone is either busy or it rings and then hangs up. Also, like others, I have delivery issues when subs are on my route. Packages that do not fit in my oversized mailbox go back to the Mineral Bluff PO and I have to go get it. Or, like yesterday, a small package with medicine was not lest in the box and nobody seems to know where it is, although the carrier says it was dropped off @MB PO. MY regular carrier is great, but the subs and the Blue Ridge PO are terrible.
I have been here in Fannin for 42 years and the po service is the worst it has ever been since some gov'r official decided to put all deliveries under one roof.It5's a real cluster F__K. I have been calling all day from my bed where I am confined for 3 months and can not get stamps to send money to friends in need. CALL ME 706-838-6533
My son moved and lodged a forwarding request and he verified by sending me the e-form that he chose individual and not family. The PO has delivered mail to him for 2 months now and I have told them 4 times starting 6 weeks back I was not receiving my mail. So far they have misdelivered a 2500 dollar cheque, a 157 dollar cheque, a 60 dollar vest, a 269 dollar pair of boots, my car insurance policy, my social security card, my bank statements. And they tried to blame it on my son who showed me proof they were responsible for the screw up and complicating my life to hell and back. What else have I missed. They are not even delivering his mail and he has to get a box soon to avoid this BS.
I want to know why I am not entitled to have my mail delivered to my door when there is a package? I have lived here 5 years now and NEVER have they delivered my packages to my door. I have to pay someone to go get it. The resent item number is 9361289675990337680949. They can enter my drive and honk and I will come out to get it. Please help with so me solution.
I have the same problem. Called the Blue Ridge Post Master and he finally came out and said that should get out of the truck and bring the package to the front porch. But they do not. We have lived here in Morganton for a little over a year. We are serviced by the Blue Ridge PO. The person goes down our road blows the horn as they pass by and we have to go down and meet them on their way back to get any package. Or else they take it back to the PO and we have to go to Blue Ridge to get it. Not sure how to get them to do their job. Sorry, sorry service.
