Postal Locations

I got an email from USPS this afternoon telling me that a package was ready for me to pick up at the Forest Hills Post Office. When I got there, the retail office was locked up and dark. I am writing to the Main Post Office to find out what's going on. First, why am I expected to pick up a package that was supposed to be delivered to my home? Second, shouldn't an announcement have been published to let us know that the Forest Hills Post Office is not operational? It's a 14-mile, 30-minute round trip from my house to Forest Hills. I will wait for a reply, although I not optimistic that it will be a rapid reply.

I want to complain about mail carriers parking USPS vehicles in handicap spaces, most recently at the McDonalds, Furys Ferry Rd, Martinez. The carrier entered the store and then came out with a large, grocery-store sized bag of food. I see no reason and cannot find any exception to Federal law that allows a mail carrier to park a USPS vehicle in a handicap space for any reason, especially when running personal errands. I also see no reason a mail carrier should be using a USPS vehicle to pick up food for multiple people. I can accept a carrier stopping for a meal for him or herself while operating on a route.

Would like the post office to reach out to me regarding a package that was sent to their office.

I’ve done an online change of address/forwarding on 6/14/23 to start on 6/19/23 and paid the sum of $1.10 to confirm the transaction. I received an email with the confirmation #2316-5900-0037-6790. I get informed notices per txt and as of today 6/22/23, a package of my medication is out for delivery to my mailbox box today. The problem? My medication cannot be left in this GA heat and be of any use. Please inform my mailman to remove said package from my mailbox and deliver it to the appropriate address. The package I ordered from eBay said it was in Augusta on the 23 so I thought I would get it today on the 24 but when I checked the tracking info it said it was in Norfolk VA and it took two to go through Atlanta because it went to two different areas up there the post office really needs to get its act together

My mail person seems to only deliver mail on days they want to. I won't get mail for two days then I'll have so much mail on third day that it's falling out. If they can't get mail right the. Mail needs to be lowered

I want to know why do I always get other people mail or package in my mailbox. Also UPS have delivered other's packages to my home and left on my porch.

So I've been home the past 2 days. I'm waiting on medical supplies supposedly they said they tried to deliver my package for 2 days and that a lie I was sitting in my living room at the time of supposed deliveries. Its medical supplies it says on the box. I cant vet anyone on the phone and I'm Disabled and cant go to the post office so now my package will sit there. They even claimed they left a note with instructions on my door for missed delivery. No note and no attempt to deliver at all. The mail didn't even come at the time I got the email. I got the email at 11 am I seen the mailman at 3. This is fraud and this post office needs to be investigated asap.

Just to let you know. I deal with this almost every day.Just checked my mailbox. It's a locking box. Not covid related either. I’ve called and called the contact number. The phone rings then hangs up. I tried emailing and email came back. I have finally filed a claim against the PO. I can see in my tracker my package has been sitting in the Augusta PO since October 5 it is now October 27! No excuses for such slow delivery.

Unacceptable. No one answers the phone. When you dial one number up/down the main number, eventually get a voice mail—with FULL MAILBOX! The Irony.

Got a tracking notice this morn. Package to be delivered. I need to sign. So I stay home all day. Post lady comes. No package. She says call the post office. I said can I have the number. She gives me wrong number. I follow her out to street. She calls again. Gives me correct number. Says the manager on a line will call me back. BS I’m on phone 2 hours calling. No answer. It is now closing time. Where is my package that I just tracked and says is here ? I wasted entire day. I needs meds. What good is tracking if no one gives you right info. And why Could I not talk to who she was talking to? No meds. No answering at 8 th post office. Terrible service. Terrible postal lady

Unacceptable. As soon as my packages arrive in Augusta, they lay there. And lay there. After a WEEK, I finally attempt to call, can't even reach anyone. So I have the company call their post office to start a case. Magically the package moves the SAME day and gets delivered. This has now happened to 12 (!!) packages and 8 of those didn't get delivered but got sent to random locations like macon, back to Atlanta or towns I've never heard of. When they then get sent back, they lay again in Augusta..for a week. Apparently I'm not the only one this has been happening to. Someone needs to get fired.

I tracked a package and found it had been there for 3 weeks without notifying me or putting in my box. The supervisor at the time found it. I tracked 2 other packages and found that one had been delivered and signed for three days earlier, but had not been put in my box. The other one had been signed for two days earlier but was not put in my box. The supervisor said he looked for the packages, but could not find them. He asked me to come back the next day to give him time to research it. Went back the next day and the supervisor still had not found my packages. This is ridiculous. Either they are there somewhere, or someone has stolen my packages that works there. I've been trying to file a claim, but can't get to talk to a customer service agent because you're put on hold for more than an hour, then the phone hangs up on you. Can't do it online because it won't accept the tracking number. Now I'm still waiting to get reimbursed for my packages. Then will have to reorder the items I purchased and wait another month to receive them because someone at the post office didn't do their job or stole the boxes. Someone needs to be fired. This is so aggravating.

The Curtis Baptist School postal mail is delivered to Curtis Baptist Church. The church is closed on Fridays and is not set up to receive postal mail on Fridays. I received an email from Oriental Trading that "The post office attempted to delivery your UPS SurePost package and left a delivery notice with instructions". The attempt was supposed to have been today, February 7, at 9:13 a.m. No mail is delivered on Friday for the church and I looked all outside of the church and "no delivery notice with instructions was left". It states that delivery will be attempted two to three more times. UPS and FedEx delivery church deliveries to the school on Friday which is located at the back of the building. However, like I previously stated, no postal mail is delivered on Friday. I hope this package will be delivered on Monday.
