I had a Xmas gift sent to my place on December 12 with the CORRECT MAILING INSTRUCTIONS and someone returned the package back to the shipper!! I said leave in front of my door NOT take it somewhere else where I can’t FIND it JUST to ship it back!!

My Father passed away and I filled out a form to have his mail forwarded to me. 6 weeks later I still did not receive his mail. The postmaster at this facility took down my info and said she would call me back later that day. She did not call me. I called and spoke to her the next week and she remembered me but gave me some excuse as to her talking to the driver and the mail would be forwarded to Tampa and then to me. Now its 3 mo later and I have still not received 1 piece of mail from his mail. Its a shame I have lost all faith in this federal institution, even the post master does not care. Do you realize the problem this has caused me? Im trying to settle my Fathers estate and I dont know what is in his mail. BUT no one cares- you cant go higher then the local postmaster and she does not care at all.
The employees are rude and chit chat about getting vaccinated with experimental pharmaceutical drugs to unsuspecting customers. Many times I have come here almost all have ended in arguments with staff and many unhappy customers all around me. Its like the workers forget their paychecks come from US and our hard earned tax dollars. It’s so unenjoyable that I just drop my packages in the drop box and leave. They won’t let you ship out using the FREE boxes provided by OUR tax dollars unless you PAY for that specific label, even if the box is the same size as the dimensions you said you were shipping in and is already on your shipping label, all because of the word “flat rate” printed inside and outside of the box. I already paid for the free box and the shipping label. That is absolutely ridiculous, we should be able to use those. The last package I shipped out from this location arrived two days later and the customer wanted a full refund due to how badly smashed the entire box was, I’m talking a massive box pancake, and there was extremely fragile goods inside. I’m never satisfied here, and until they clean house, I probably never will be and neither will you.
Horrible service to be had! You can't get your mailed in payments processed in a timely manner and the Customer Service number is even worse. Maybe it is time to defund the Post Office since they can't even deliver mail to themselves on time!
We keep receiving packages that fit in the mailbox through the back where the mail is paced, but are too big to take out of the front of the mailbox (have had to try using scissors to destroy the box, and possibly the product inside). Trying to dial the phone number for our post office to have the package taken out is not happening because no one picks up the phone. Accidents happen, but this is just incompetence. I even doubt that anyone monitors this site to read the comments - but where else can you turn?
The mail delivery here in Oakford Estates phase 2 is terrible! I've lived here for about 4yrs now and we are seriously considering getting a P.O. box at Highland City post office. So many people here in Oakford Estates get the wrong mail or none of their own mail. We and others have called the post office and complained but nothing ever gets done. The Carriers we have are incompetent, dont care, and dont pay attention. You cannot trust this post office to get your mail to you no matter how important your mail might be. Your personal information is exposed to others. This post office does not care!!!
We had a wonderful mail carrier named Dori and perhaps she has retired, but we now have a mail carrier who leaves the mail in the wrong boxes; sometimes circles our small neighborhood 4-6 times to get mail dropped off and last week, the entire neighborhood did not have mail delivered. This is pretty serious stuff as we get bills and other things we need to attend to and I'm sure that's true of everyone else on this route too. I have tried to call and talk with the postmaster, but the phone just rings and cannot leave a message.
We get a lot of substitutes in our route and they miss where to leave the mail every time. Is not we are in hard to find, the house is at the end of our driveway with duplexes on both sides, somehow the new hires are not to the par of the old mailmen.
Today my mail carrier while delivering my mail was extremely disrespectful about my mail box about my friends parking in front of it then she tells me to get a po box my mail won't be delivered again thats ridiculous
Almost daily my mail is left at my neighbors box and vice versa. We are always having to walk our mail to each others homes. This is ridiculous. Very bad service especially now when we are expecting our information to file our taxes.
I have tried everything on the USPS Website without any result. My package has been at the Lakeland, FL USPS Facility since Sep 22, 2020. The Sender put the wrong ZIP Code, using 33812. It should read 32812, for delivery to 3637 Gatlin Place Circle, Orlando, FL 32812. I have submitted two assistance request to USPS without any acknowledgement. The only Tracking Number I have from Sender is:
Tracking this package shows that it is at the USPS Facility in Lakeland, FL, arriving Sep 22, 2020. Again, ZIP should read 32812, not 33812. Please help
Our carrier has been delivering mail for other residents to our address when it clearly shows the correct address to sent it to (4-5 times). The street number is the same as mine but street name is different. I've just simply place it out on our box for him to pick up. I'm expecting an important letter that was mailed on 8/19/20 but have yet to receive it. I'm afraid it has been delivered to another address. Some people might not place it out to be picked up and redelivered correctly. I hope it gets delivered soon.
problems with carrier...doesn't deliver packages that will fit in our oversized mailbox and puts neighbors mail in our receptacle. Also we leave gate open when we know oversized packages delivery date ( by tracking them) and she will not leave them.
I recently moved to The Avenue Apartments at 6720 S. Florida Ave. in Lakeland. I am disabled and have to use a walker. My mailbox is quite a distance from my apartment, too far for me to walk, so I purchased an electric scooter. The apartment building exit doors are not automatic, so it is difficult for me to push the door at the same time as trying to fit the scooter through the door. When I reached my mailbox, it was at a height that I could just barely reach it and when I did, I could not see its contents and had to scoot the mail out, most of it falling to the ground. When returning to my building, I could not position the scooter to display the key code and get to the door to open it before time ran out and the door re-locked. After several tries, I had to position the scooter at the door and hobble to the key code reader and get back to the scooter in time to open the door before it locked again. This is a real hazard for me because if I fell I could not get back up by myself. I would need human help. So I was told at the local post office that if my doctor would submit a letter stating the hardship I was under, that my mail could be delivered right to my door beginning the day following receipt of the fax. My doctor did, in fact, fax a letter to this post office on June 17, stating the hardship and requesting the delivery to my door. It is now June 19th and I have not started receiving my mail at my door. I am appealing to the post office to please expedite this request for delivery of my mail to my apartment as quickly as possible.
I have been experiencing packages not being delivered and receiving other peoples mail, which I then have to deliver to the proper address on my street. I recently ordered something that I believe has been delivered to someone else. I am loosing faith in the postal service.
