I hope someone responds to this because I’m upset. My family and I moved here now 2 months ago. We have several issues trying to get our mail but TODAY, I went out to get the mail because I got an email notice that I had mail delivered. Upon getting the mail out of the mailbox, instead of getting my mail from the IRS, I have a sticky note that says I have a certified letter from the IRS and they’re sorry they missed me.
ME, MY HUSBAND, MY GRANDDAUGHTER AND 2 dogs that bark at EVERYTHING were in this house. NO ONE even attempted to deliver that letter. I would have went to the door. I tried to call the local office to find out WHY they didn’t attempt to knock or ring the doorbell to deliver a certified letter, and NO ONE. Answers the phone after I let it ring 25 times!! It says I can go get it or make redelivery arrangements. My circumstances aren’t such that I can just hop in my car and run after them to get my mail that SHOULD HAVE BEEN DELIVERED IN THE FIRST PLACE. I could fill out the back of their little paper but it’s a certified letter so it has to be signed for. I won’t be here tomorrow so that’s not gonna happen. If I went to try to pick it up right now, it wouldn’t be there because I’m pretty sure that they have to attempt to deliver other customers mail. This is UNACCEPTABLE BUT IVE GOT TO DEAL WITH IT ANYWAY BECAUSE NO ONE SEEMS TO WANT TO DO THEIR COMPLETE JOBS ANYMORE! So since they won’t answer their phone, I’m gonna sign and fill out their little form because someone didnt want to get out of their vehicle to come to my door. If they have to have verification, they better hope that it doesn’t fall back on me in any time sensitive manner with the IRS, or they will know who I am. If, someone at the High Springs Post Office or their superiors reads this, I hope you address the issue. You can return with the letter or you can email me. Thank you
This mail delivery for High Springs FL 32643 is terrible, getting a package delivered is like playing the Lotto.
In the latest episode they delivered a package, it was left in the mailbox, when in fact thy did not. Not the first time.
