I just got notice in the mail today that the residence I have been living in for over 9 years is "vacant" and you will not deliver any more mail. I am still living here and not moving. What do I need to do to continue my mail service? I have bills and a mail in ballot coming. HELP!!!!

What’s going on there? My brother sent a package from Gainesville to California. Contents are almost gone. For the first time I received damaged package. Are we in third world country now where people working from post office are stealing stuffs ? I can post pictures too if you want me. But it won’t let me attached here

I am a resident in Mill run that has been waiting on my medicine since the 24th of the month the sub Edward had place my medicine in someone else mailbox in thank that my former mail person return BK from vacation to put my medicine in the right box I have been in pain for over a week very upset my mail in all was late I'm pregnant as well in have been in great need of my pain meds. Plz don't send Edward BK to my complex very poor service. Sincerely Ms bush

WHAT A JOKE!!! Returned my monthly package stating my address in insufficient!! This address has been here since 2005!! I have NEVER had my package returned due to this! It is because the post people are LAZY and don't want to do their jobs! THEN DO NOT BECOME A POST PERSON THEN!!! Also, I have called their office 40 TIMES! YES 40!!!!! And they do not PICK UP!!! I DO NOT GET IT!! I WANT MY PACKAGE AND MY MAIL!!

The mail delivery service in my area is horrible !! It is almost 8pm and have not had an outgoing letter picked up or had mail delivered. One of my neighbors has the same situation. Not to mention that two different mail trucks have passed our house and dropped off mail to our neighbors. This isn't the first incident of this terrible service !! I have actually seen a driver circle around the intersection up to three times delivering regular mail..This is not good service at all.... please feel free to contact me. P.S. ... on more than one occasion l have received other peoples mail.. Thank you !

My certified letter was mailed at the SW 34th St, Gainesville, FL, on Thursday 6/11/2020. As of 6/22/2020 it has not arrived at its LA destination. I have asked for someone to contact Gainesville and Jacksonville (FL) to find out why my certified has gone back and forth between these 2 locations. It has arrived in JAX at least 2 times, and per tracking, it has arrived in Gainesville at least 4 times. No one answers the phone at any facility. The 800-AKS-USPS I have contacted twice. The destination LA post office contacted me June 18, 2020 and that is the only response I have received. I hate to see what my letter looks like after going through all those machines that many times and still it is in FL: either JAX or GVL. 6/11/2020--6/22/2020 and my letter is still in FL. This is the 2nd letter to the same LA address and neither has arrived, probably lost in FL. The other letter was mailed 5/15/2020 from Trenton, FL. COVID-19 is just an excuse and a poor one at that. Who reads these comments? What good does this comment section do? I NEED HELP GETTING MY LETTERS DELIVERED.

Our normal mail carrier delivers the mail daily between 12:00 and 2:00 PM. Anytime we have a substitute the mail does not make it before 4:00 PM or not at all, as was the case yesterday, no mail on 4/22/2020, none to our office park. I am expressing my dissatisfaction via email because the phone goes unanswered at the GMF for hours on end. The demise of the post office is predictable , due to the lack of customer service which has been well documented for many years. I am now believing the private sector take-over can not render poorer performance. I like my regular mail carrier, no substitute has been able to duplicate her consistency. Please amazon get involved in regular mail deliveries. This is not intended to be an indictment of the postal service just an honest account of what I have witnessed. In the past we have gone consecutive days without mail delivery. Nobody cares.

Twice now have not received mail delivery! when saw my mail person, they informed me they had their truck loaded to go, was called in and told to go home as were too many overtime hours. There was NOT. A backup person to deliver mail. This happened again yesterday. Wonder if it was the same reason.

My mail carrier sporatically refuses to deliver my mail and our local Post Office says she is contracted and therefore nothing can be done about her. My neighbor and I have medical issues that require mail delivered medicine and must be able to count on the deliveries being made. I am a Viet Nam Veteran with PTSD and a serious heart condition. I can no longer tolerate this abuse from a US Postal Service employee.

Unable to reach anyone at the local phone number provided. The phone rang about 12-15 times then disconnects. I re-dialed x 20 and no answer in the afternoon during business hours. Automated answering does not alway apply to the question and you need to speak to an individual.

I, and 11 other postal customers have to pick up our mail at the Main Street post office because the official USPS mailbox for 12 customers was destroyed. This has been going on for over two months and we have been told many many tales as to why we do not have a new mailbox. EACH of these 12 customers has to drive over three miles and stand in a long line in order to get our mail. We have been told that we cannot put up our own mailboxes as the mailperson will NOT deliver our mail until a new USPS mailbox is put up, but we have NO control over this at all.

What happened to the drop boxes in the drive through lot? They disappeared. Now you have to park and go in to mail a letter. The service here keeps diminishing.

It is really terrible when you cannot get your mail that has being sent to you because the mail carrier is putting it in other people's mailboxes and they don't know you so they just ride on it not at this address and it is the correct address the post carrier is just putting it in the wrong mail boxes this is absurd and it has been going on for over 2 years here unacceptable I've complained many times to the postmaster secretary Theresa which has forward me to my supervisor for my carrier which I never ever receive a call back from and the problem is never corrected we get mail that doesn't even belong at this address and thank God it was a telephone number on it so I could call and make sure that that person got the package I don't know what is going on with the post office these days but no one seems to care I ordered a cell phone a couple years back never ever received it I have surveillance cameras post office tried to say they did deliver it to this address but they did not deliver it to this address because there's like 60 Lots in here they delivered it to the landlord the managers office she kept the cell phone I prove that she was the one that received it and I reported it to the post office I reported it to the people that sent the cell phone and she got to keep it and no one said or done anything about it nobody cared and guess what I never was able to get another cell phone from that company and it's the same stuff they won't even look at the correct apartment number or Lot number that's on the envelope they don't even look at the correct Street number and my regular carrier he tries to blame it on the temporary carriers when he's doing it and has been doing it for a long time we know when a regular mail carrier comes and when it's attempt and most the problem has been coming from the tent evidently he cannot read numbers or don't care anyway I'm frustrated resident because no one cares and there's no one to report it too so maybe I'll try the federal government and see if that gets us anywhere it's really sad unbelievable for the United States Postal Service

I have lived at the same address and home for over 34 years. The mailperson delivers mail to the wrong street constantly. I have got in my car to drive to other address to deliver someone else mail. Now the mailperson is not delivering mail saying cars are in his way for him to pull in and out from street based mailbox. He will not hand me my mail or leave a note on person's vehicle. I am not getting my mail and I feel that if he does not deliver it on the appropriate day it will be lost and I never receive it. I have to call to find out what is my bill and drive to a location to pay it. The mailperson has taken this problem personally and makes no effort to deliver mail. He needs some training or a new route or maybe work inside the postal center. I am the innocent person that has to suffer by not getting my mail. W-2s are coming out, will I get mine.

I have lived in the same apartment for 2 years straight with no issue as far receiving my mail goes. Now I notice that I have not received mail in quite some time so I go to the Gainesville 34th st USPS office and they tell me everything has been returned to sender because our address had not been confirmed?!?!? Then has the audacity to tell me to figure it out when I ask what mail has been attempted to be delivered. If I have been living in the same spot with no name changes or changes to the lease you should not decide randomly to stop delivering my mail then be rude about it. Your phone system is terrible as there is no way to connect to a representative for explanation of the information that is not provided in the prompts and the same goes for the website. Absolutely ridiculous!

Waited 30 minutes for this location to open. Hours are to open at 830am....they would not answer the phone. There were 8 others waiting. Finally got an associate placing mail in po boxes. They were unaware opener had not come in.....BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
