I had 3 packages shipped from Lancaster, PA on 1-24. Went to Chicago, IL on 1-25, to Springfield, MA on 1-28, and then to this facility on 1-28. One package made it to Omaha, NE on 1-29 and I got it that day. Other two have seen sitting here since 1-28... I am not sure how one package makes it overnight to me, and the other two are sitting in CT. Come on USPS...

My package arrived here 12/23. It's 1/5/21 and it's still there - with no updates! No one answers the phone or returns emails. I guess my package is DOA

I mailed 7 Christmas packages from my local PO on 12/11. Only one of them was sent Priority Express 2 Day and that was to Wakefield, RI. It should have arrived no later than 12/14. All the other packages sent to CT, VA, & MA arrived by 12/16 and were not mailed Priority Express 2 Day. The one destined for Wakefield RI has been sitting in this Southern CT Distribution Center for USPS since 12/13 Now that I read all these other reviews, I understand that many folks got disappointed at Christmastime this year. This is totally unacceptable.

I mailed a package to an ebay customer on 12/15. It's been sitting in Wallingford since 12/19. My customer is upset and all I can do is say there are holiday/Covid delays. I may have to refund the money (over $100), so I could lose money on this if the package is delivered later and she won't pay again. Very frustrating!

I have been waiting on a package that says it arrived to the Southern CT Distribution center on 12/6 and has not moved since. It is now 12/28. I submitted a form online, but all it did was result in a call from my local post office who only told me that there are significant delays. Delays or not, 22 days of sitting at the distribution center is unacceptable.

I ordered Christmas gifts that were all dropped in a mail reciprocal by December 5th three of them have not arrived and they're all stuck at this Southern Connecticut Distribution Center which one you call the phone number is some type of fax machine no human no automated anyting I submitted a support ticket online over a week ago which just resulted in my local post office calling me and saying they're aware that the package hasn't arrived and they hope I have a Merry Christmas. It was a very awkward Christmas with gifts not being had to give people which were well ordered and mailed in time for the expected holiday increase in workers needs. $18 an hour they're paying their people at that distribution center and apparently the local post office over in my local Town up here in Massachusetts has told me that it's just sitting in a bin somewhere I've been full of everybody else's items that they haven't got either that doesn't make me feel good that the items that I have ordered or just sitting in some bin sense now the 12th and 16th at the same facility and I can't get anybody to tell me anything about these items. I felt like people thought I actually didn't get them gifts for Christmas I felt so shity I showed people the tracking numbers and everything. I'm very disappointed in the USPS they knew about covid-19.

I mailed my sons package from Rhode Island on December 10, 2020. This was their Christmas package, which I thought would have been sufficient time to arrive at his house in Ohio. I am very disappointed in the postal service, which I know your volume is overwhelming, but think of the families who are waiting for their packages. Also, can not contact anyone at any postal building. Very disappointed and hope my package gets to its destination soon. It has been at the USPS Southern Distribution Center since December 15, according to the tracking.

I mailed important documents on the 16th of December and it has sat there since 12/24. Has your package finally arrived? I am just trying to get a time frame on how long its going to take.

Like others below, I am waiting for a package to be delivered to my son in NY that I mailed from MA on 12/11. Like most families we cannot be together for the holidays and now it seems he’ll have no gifts to open and he lives alone. The COVID excuse and high volume Is a bureaucratic cop out. FedEx, UPS, and Amazon are all also effected by the pandemic as is the rest of the world but anything I have ordered online and delivered via these carriers has been on time and on occasion early. I am a government employee and we had to quickly adjust and continue to get our jobs done. If I performed at my job at this level, I would be fired! The USPS is a sorry excuse for a government agency. I think the CT distribution facility in particular is filled with lazy uncaring workers who laugh as they toss our important packages aside. I wouldn’t doubt if you went inside that building and it reeked of marijuana. I’ve filed 3 online complaints only to receive automated replies from robots. They even had the nerve to send me a survey asking how they did and was I pleased with the response. Pleased with the response?! What response?! Party on CT Distribution Center because we all know you’re not working. You’re getting paid, but you produce nothing. Thanks for ruining my holiday. This is the very last time I’ll use the USPS. The public no longer NEEDS you. We have other options and most mail is junk mail anyway. You never fail to deliver that! I hope they shut you all down. Then you can cry when you don’t get your welfare checks in the mail.

I have been waiting for a Christmas package that was mailed on 12/12 and has been sitting at this distribution center (Southern CT Distribution Center) since 12/19. It is now 12/23 with no movement in sight. There is definitely a problem at this distribution center. This was a Christmas gift to my granddaughter and I am a disabled person and it is too late to shop for something else anyway! I don't know what to say to my granddaughter?! I am very disappointed :(

I have been waiting for a Christmas package that was mailed on 12/3 and has been sitting at this distribution center (Southern CT in Wallingford) since 12/9. It is now 12/22 end of day with no movement in sight. In fact, the record hasn't even been updated in 10 days! There is definitely a problem at this facility. Merry Christmas to me :(
