I moved to North Haven 1 year ago from Upstate NY. I am becoming more & more discouraged living here in North Haven & the constant disappointments I continue to find with the town. First, with a huge Post Office within North Haven, what possible excuse can be made for not processing passports?? Secondly, what possible excuse is there for none of the employees working at this post office not to be “Notary’s”? Third, my home sits on a busy corner lot, & I find it absolutely inexcusable that my large mailbox’s door is constantly left wide open after my mail is delivered!!!!! My mailbox is in perfect working order, so there is no excuse that the postal delivery person can have not to close my mailbox after delivering my private mail, packages, etc.... In short, I find that North Haven has a lovely huge Postal Office, however this Town’s Postal practices, services, & lack of services to be inexcusable!!!! What is going to change in 2021 regarding these service shortfalls within The North Haven Postal Service compared to other Towns that serve their community with much more in services, & quality delivery services??? Very unsatisfied North Haven Resident.
