I received a notification that my Amazon package was delivered today by the USPS. The email said the package was delivered and left inside my mailbox. This was not the case. It was left on the side of the road. I live on a very busy road and I am extremely upset by this. Someone could easily pick up my package or get into an accident and damage my items. The fact of the matter is that packages should be driven down the driveway if they do not fit in the mailbox and left where we can easily pick them up. I am very disgusted by the laziness and carelessness of the person who delivered my package.


If you are planning on going away and are going to place a hold on your mail, be sure and check when you return that they have given you ALL the mail. I went to Florida in January and put a hold on my mail. I returned in February, went to the Madison, CT post office to retrieve my mail and was given a small stack of mail. Today is June 6 and my January mail which included all my tax documents was delivered to me with a note " Did not pick up". I am furious!!


One of the more friendly US Post Offices I've encountered. Lived in town just over a year and every visit has been professional, welcoming and helpful.


I live in Madison at 23 Pardee Pl. down the street from me is 23 Salem I have brought this to the postman‘s attention but it falls on deaf ears On a regular basis I get his bail and he gets mine this is not acceptable


I bought some of the little sticky numbers and letters and put them on the lid on the inside so that when the mailbox is opened there is your street and number. Don't know if that will help but it did on mine.

I have a major complaint and I want to report the poor incompetent service by the Madison Post Office - 06443. I had a very expensive package - Tracking Number 9505514793768325186066 delivered to the wrong house and left in the rain with the result of the item inside the box was ruined and damaged. This is an inexcusable service and performance. They failed in not checking of the house number #504 which is on the upper front door entrance and the mail box. They failed in which the package should have had a plastic cover over it. They failed in not knocking at the door to make sure the correct house was located. They failed in the safety and security of the package. I am very angry and unhappy. I want action taken and return of my money on the value of the item. The item is very collectible and a limited edition of the Mattel,s 50s' Anniversary of the first Sweet 16 Hot Wheels cars and a store display showcase. The cost was $840.00. I hope you understand my disappointment and do the right correct thing. Thank you. Matthew Tony Cataldo
