Absolutely the worst post office I've ever dealt with and I used APOs for years. They should close it and save the expense. We have to go to Harwinton, or Torrington if we want to get our outgoing mail to it's destination. Litchfield has lost as much as they've delivered. You can also tell when your regular delivery guy goes on vacation. Delivery is sporadic when the replacement driver is on. Forget it if you have a package; they'll drop on the main highway, or return to the barn with it. They should be ashamed of their performance, but they won't be. Pay and benefits and retirement are good. Horrible service.

there is a red flag on most roadside mailboxes. how come they don't put the flag up when they deliver mail?? How come they put the wrong main my box all the time??? You look out in the rain and no flag.. yet there is mail...The Lady who delivers mail is floored if she gets a package that doesn't fit in the box...is there any training???
