This post office has been refusing delivery of any boxes weighing over 10lbs for over 2 years now. Trudy at the desk told me to “use a different carrier or stop ordering” because they will not be sending any boxes. When we tried to ask why the carrier is not been reassigned or receiving help for her accommodations, we were told “only her doctor makes that call and she has help.” When we asked why they haven’t been helping, we were told they were “busy” and can’t help right now or at all for the past 12 months or more she’s on weight restrictions. After speaking with her in person and her telling me to leave that she’s not going to help me, my mail is being marked as “refused” and sent back as soon as it arrives at the post office. Good luck getting a response from USPS online contact forms, they just mark them as complete and ignore them. This is now the second time my packages have been left on the road. I live down 77 and it is be try just two cars had to swerve when coming up to my mailbox. My driveway is right across from my mailbox. This is a safety concern as well as the things I’ve ordered getting destroyed. I try to call and no one answers. I think maybe reporting to the sheriff department is the next step, as this is not safe.
Our mail especially cards and packages are not being delivered, we are getting emails saying they are in our mail box, I have to check my mail box 6 times a day! This is not right! It snowed and there was only one set of tracks, hmm makes me think it's one of your employees doing this. Maybe you need to have a little chat with them all. maybe your facility needs to have an investigation into the situation!
I mailed a Christmas card to my cousin, Pat Ecton on Dec. 12, 2022,
and there is a postal cancellation mark on the envelope. 3 months
later, I get the card back postmarked 03/22/2023 with a yellow tag
that says no such street. We've been mailing to her address for years

I am so frustrated with my delivery service (Calhan). My packages are consistently not being delivered because they claim they are too heavy or our mailbox is full (theres a large box at the end of the drive-that they have put packages before) or we were not home (package do not need signatures). When I questioned why at the post office as I am picking up my package, I am told my carrier has a lift restriction. I feel bad for them but my package makes it through multiple station and yet still can't be delivered? So frustrating.
Adam is now at yoder post office and he does not do his job. I have seen many complaints on here about him. I pay for a po box and he leaves it empty. Says to collect at window. Only opened 2 hours a day and I work for. A Living. He is very rude and obnoxious. His comments are unacceptable. He should not have a job period with any post office.
Ive lived my life in calhan and have seen what i thought were rude, smart mouthed and just plain mean to customers, but compared to Adam ,now i wish any of them would come back.
In the 100s of times ive called Calhan P.O. ive never gotten an answer. Been lied too about deliveries, andtreated disrespectfully in front of other customers as has my wife.
My ww2 father, a retired USPS. 38 year country route carrier never treated customers that way. No matter how bad of a day he was having. Ive quit using this P.O. for fear of whats sure to happen at the counter with Adam. He should go back to where ever hes from.
I had the displeasure of interacting with Adam when I was getting my passport. I made an appointment on the website, only to have Adam call me and tell me that appointment time wouldn't work because it was during his lunch. I changed my appointment time to fit his lunch, but couldn't believe how rudely I was treated even after changing the appointment. The man should not be working in customer service. He was rude to other people in the post office as well, was disrespectful to me when I tried to confirm if they can do photos there, and I heard him make a disparaging comment about a female customer's appearance after she had left. I won't be using this post office again for as long as he keeps working there.
Our mail service has gotten really bad over the past year. Carriers don't deliver packages on time. Nail used to come by noon now it between 4:00 and 7:00 pm.
Adam answers the phone and lies about when packages come into the depot. Carriers say undeliverable when they are just to lazy to put it in the vehicle.
I go to the post office on a regular basis and there have been multiple times that I have experienced personally and witnessed a postal employee named Adam being very disrespectful and rude to customers. The man clearly is not happy in general and he makes a trip into the post office (speaking for myself here) very unpleasant. I can't avoid going into the post office at times and I really wish Adam would be released from his duties and someone more pleasant take his place.
I didn't know it was possible to be worse than bad, but this post office is. My mail is often not delivered and a notice is never left. I've had to re-route packages to pick up at the post office because they're repeatedly not delivered. However when I've gone to pick up my packages at the post office they've been sent out for the day. I've had to call an ask the post office to reach out to the postal carrier which they've been happy to do. When I called in I was treated incredibly disrespectfully by a worker named Adam. Even with the delivery issues I've had before the employees at the post office have always been kind and helpful, except for my experience with Adam.
Who do I talk to about concerns about not getting or mail, I have lost my Medicare services and was going to be charged finance charges because I didn't get a bill . Thank god many other customers didn't either from the Ellicott area so they waived the late charges!!!! . It's been bad for over a year and no changes have been made . IT'S TIME!!!!! .pls.do something this is real problem that can hurt or our ruin credit and be charged late fees on bills .
The lady that delivers our mail on Fridays is completely lazy. She sits in her van and honks when she comes into our driveway. How completely rude and lazy can someone be? Get out and DELIVER mail like every other mail carrier.
