Our regular mail lady is awesome, but when she doesn’t deliver we have a gentleman deliver who is absolutely terrible. He crams items at times, bending and crumpling mail/packages, delivers mail from other addresses and last night I confronted him for throwing a package on my porch. After putting incorrect mail in box, he walked from mail truck and onto my lawn and threw small box from roughly 10 feet away on porch. I immediately went out and asked why he threw box and said he thought it was non breakable item. He had no idea what it was and said sorry but obviously wasn’t. If you live in the Riviera area, be aware of this individual, he obviously doesn’t care about his job/performance and isn’t first issue we’ve had and will stay silent no longer.

I paid for priority shipping nine days ago and they still haven't shipped my package out from Torrance. I'm no longer getting updates and I don't know what's happened to my package. I've called and emailed but nothing. My local USPS told me that my package hadn't even been sent out yet and to give it a little more time. Three days later and all I've received is an email notifying me that they'd received my email. I'm going to try calling this branch in the morning but at this point I'm just frustrated. They should stop charging people for priority services when they know they can't deliver or have no intention to.

We wrote 3 large checks including one for the water and light bill. All 3 were mailed inside the post office and all 3 were never delivered. I may get late charges and will be charged for putting a stop on the checks. They were mailed on 7/15. We should get reimbursed! Need better management and service!!!

Postal service has been the worst in Torrance in the past couple of years than I have ever experienced. We finally got a great mail carrier but any time he is off the replacement carrier will not pick up any outgoing mail. I normally have one or two pieces of mail every day and our regular carrier has picked it up when he delivers our mail and I truly appreciate it. Unfortunately, most of the new mail carriers refuse to pick up any outgoing mail. This is the 1st time in over 40 years that I've ever had so many problems with getting outgoing mail picked up. With so many of us Senior Citizens not driving or having in-home help, getting to a post office everyday to mail a card or letter is impossible. So it makes sense that a person working at the post office that delivers mail and goes there every day before and after their shift would be the one to pick up those outgoing pieces of mail. I hope our regular mail carrier is back on the job soon. What happened to those days when people used to get good service from the men and women working for the Postal Service? Now you're lucky to find a couple really good ones willing to be helpful and actually take pride in their job. If we can't get the postal service to do what the people need, then we need to have those neighborhood mail boxes reinstalled and maintained like they did a long, long time ago.

Attn: Torraince, MAIN office, POSTMASTER--since we talked face to face a year ago, you advised that carriers only delilver & didNot check homes to pickUp mail even though i'm a very senior homeowner. i wish to Commend your carriers to the Riviera Hill in the past year, that have come almost daily. the Only Exception was 6/24 & 6/25, two days in a row, no delivery & no pickup waiting 3 days until 6/26 Fri your carrier picked up my 1 mail out. Thank this 6/26 Fri carrier for me, i'm Very Grateful for this person's envelope pickUp. and ThankYou for hearing & assisting my family many decades..

What is going my mail is being put in other people's mailboxes packages left on top of the wrong mailbox. My package confirmed delivery stated June 18 but the changed to NO Access? Now today June 19th still not delivered. What is going on with the post office???

Lately, the postal carrier is dropping mail to wrong addresses. There were 3 incidences just last week. Furthermore, when the misdirected mail is left at the mailbox for the postal carrier to pick up and deliver to the correct address, the postal carrier ignores it. I'm not being paid to deliver mail which I ended up taking to the correct address.

I tried to phone today but after letting it ring 50+ times, I decided to vent here. Yesterday, Feb. 6, I watched as the replacement delivery person put a package meant for me on the brick wall next to my property and the neighbor's property in Skyline Mobile Home Park. Unfortunately, I could not get her attention to receive it. I will admit to being quite spoiled by my regular postman who will bring a package to my doorstep, bless his heart. I know the 30 ft. to my doorstep is quite a long walk and getting out of the truck must be rough for a younger woman and she doesn't know my current health problems have impacted my ability to walk for over a year. That is my cross to bear, however, aren't there post office regulations regarding leaving packages exposed? I'm not a person who complains much, but seriously.

Torrance Summerwind condo complex. Package was mailed to me and mailman just left it in the open in front of 100 mailboxes. Did not use my locked mailbox, did not use oversize lockbox, did not drop to my home, did not notify me - just dumped it on the ground in front of the common mail area. Sender updated website as Delivered. Package went missing for 2 days because some stranger picked it up off the ground and later it got to me through a friends friend. What a lazy bunch of crap! Amazon purchases are to my door every time.

I was at your Marcelina Branch at 8:45AM Monday (1/28/19).As I walked up the stairs a gentleman with a hands full of small packages tagged along. I opened the outer door for him. As I opened the inner door it was locked. I said" I thought they open at 8:30".Then a male postal employee came out of the side door to open up. He asked me what I needed. I replied "just 10 stamps". The postal clerk said to come back in 315 minutes. I left. I was back after 45 minutes and as I went to the postal clerk I asked for 10 stamps. He said" Come back in one hour we dont have it.". Exasperated I loudly exclaimed"I come here every month to purchase 10 stamps for the past 20 years and this is the first time you dont have stamps. I left.

One mailman in particular who states he has worked this neighborhood for 4 years has not delivered for 2 days . I followed him to his truck the second day and he stated he could not deliver because my dogs were in the house behind a locked security door. One dog is crated and the other 15 pound dog was behind security door.mailman refused to come to my door and I had to return to my house and get my 3 year old granddaughter, walk across the street with her to get the mail as he just sat on the back of his truck. Rude and unprofessional. Dates this occurred are Sept 13 and Sept 14 2018. Location leyte and sepulveda bl. Also he left our gate open and swinging facing sepulveda bl.

For the past couple of days, the mailman on this side was placing the wrong mails in the wrong mailboxes. Please re-train the mailman in 90502 side. This is really very very frustrating. PLEASE,PLEASE re-train you staff...This is unacceptable.

I have lived in 5 states and moved more times than I can remember and in the last 25 years I have never had mail lost or stolen EVER until I moved to Southbay! Torrance USPS lost the birthday cards my family sent to me from Atlanta. I called for assistance and was ignored. The Southbay USPS is a joke and has felons working for it. Someone there saw my birthday cards and kept them in hopes of taking birthday money and presents (Felony). So use UPS or FedEx for important mail if you live in SoCal. We don't know if this is where we deliver a complaint but yesterday Tuesday May 29, 2018 was not a holiday and we had no mail delivery or pick up this is a business and we always have a lot of mail on Mondays this was a holiday so I should have had double mail but nothing. Where is my mail? Also we have letters for pick up but sadly no postman came into my office on Tuesday??? We also get the wrong mail at least 1 x per week does this seem OK to you? Oh and 1 more thing our postman delivers so late like 4:30 or later I use to get my mail at 12 or 1 which seems reasonable what is going on and I try to call but cannot get anybody to answer a phone at the local postal branch. Hello, we are out here watching you perform badly. I will complain higher up till I get the service we deserve.

Today (Friday, January 12, 2018) the mail carrier for our street delivered to the wrong house for multiple addresses. We got the mail for the house immediately east of us and our mail was delivered in its entirety to the house to the west of us. I believe this also happened to that neighbor and so on. It's like they missed the houses by one house altogether. We live on the 2200 block of 229th Place in Torrance.

The people who work here are unusually incompetent (almost as bad as the MARCELINA Post Office in downtown Torrance.) The worst part is that this one is where most of the other post offices in Torrance get there mail from so it causes problems for the rest of the city.

Your automatic phone system is extremely limited and is apparently designed to prevent any discussion of specific items that are not on your limited list. There does not seem to be a way to get to talk to a "live" person. This is definitely not user friendly. I needed to speak to someone about potential changes to the location of the mail box for a building that we recently acquired. I went into the office last Friday and was told that someone would call me back the following Monday to arrange to walk the site. It is now Thursday and I have not received any call. It appears that I will have to make another trip to the Post Office to try to resolve this lack of responsiveness.
