I live in Canada and my son was living and working in San Francisco when he passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in Oct 2020. I was able to contact Ms Lee at the Mendell office and I cannot begin to explain how wonderful she was is arranging to have my son's mail forwarded to me in Canada. Needless to say it was a distressing time for me but I was treated with kindness, sympathy and efficiency. Ms Lee has my sincere appreciation, she is a wonderful person.
On December 8, 2020 at 11:34 am an envelope with legal documents was sent from San Mateo, CA 94404 to residence in ZOP code area 94122. It arrived at USPS Facility San Francisco CA 94124 and was out for delivery to ZIP Code 94112. The envelope has been in and out for delivery from IP Code 94124 to 94112 over and over for more than 10 days now (12/19/2020).I went twice to USPS Facility San Francisco ZP Code 94122 to explain the discrepancy without success. I have both a tracking number and a Service Request # but USPS is stuck in being unable to deliver the envelope because of the fault ZIP Code on the address (it should be 94122-1074 and NOT 94112). The counter clerk game me the phone number for the 94122 office supervisor, but they do not pick up the call and I get disconnected. The envelope is from a lawyer and it costs me money every time I contact her to tell that her letter is "out for delivery" since December 8, 2020 (today is December 19, 2020) so I can' sign the documents until I actually receive them after USPS successfully delivers to me at ZIP Code 94122-1074.
