For five das. now I have been trying to get a parcel delivered to you but not to me. I was home all day SaturdaY, AND NO ONE TRIED TO contact ME, YET, AN AUTHORIZATION SLIP WAS POSTED ON MY DOOR. I SIGNED IT, POSTED ON MY MAIL BOX THAT I DID, OPENED MY DOORS FOR 2 DAS. W/A/C ON, BUT NOTHING. I SPOKE TO 2 MAIL CARRIERS I KNOW WELL, FOR ALMOST 30 YRS. -LIVING HERE FOR 36 YRS., E-MAILED YOUR PO for redelivery, but nothing again. I will be there tomorrow for my parcel. Dr. F T DeAngelis.

If you leave the flag up on your mailbox with stuff to go out or returned to sender does the postal carrier still take it? I was under the impression that this was still the case, but since our person hasn’t been taking the items I have a feeling it is no longer. Can someone please clarify?
Hello! Tried to get mail forwarded after a move for my folks...submitted forms TWICE. Yet no one will forward the mail, it still gets delivered to the old place. So I tried to call the Linda Vista branch to try and speak to someone about it. I've called 6 times in a row 858-277-0832, no one answers the phone. Seriously? There is no help/service at all?
I need help. I call the USPS 800 line and no body answers, they put me on hold for 1 hour or more and nothing. I really need to talk to a post office person at Linda Vista branch that can help me with my situation. My mail is not being delivered at my address. I am waiting for important DMV renewal DL and need to make sure they do not send back. Can someone tell me whom I can call to resolve this matter.
Some of the staff and supervisors are GREAT! The clerks are usually pleasant and helpful, and some of the managers are REAL managers (Lena and David). However, when packages are lost or stolen, and the same carrier is on duty, at the time, the USPS attitude is very casual. I have neem interviewed by a Postal Inspector's office Special Agent, and have been assured that two separate investigations are, "In progress." However, over several years, not a single missing package has every been returned to me.
1. Please answer the phone. You require calls for inquiries yet never have anyone available to answer.
2. You misplaced a certified letter of mine and never remedied the situation, even after multiple calls and walk ins yo the post office.
3. You mangled a letter from the dmv which ripped my car registration. I have pictures. On Saturday 11/25 The carrier adsigned to Distinctive Dr. said "new people don't know where the plastic bags are to put the letter in" and "no one is assigned to this new development, this is the only time I've carried here, I usually do mission valley".
I've tried talking to the carrier and calling twenty times. This needs to be remedied. I'm asking you to email me ad doon ad possible so we can discuss. Last time I went in to the Linda Vista office, nothing was accomplished and you lost my certified letter. Now my registration is destroyed. Please do not ignore.
Anyone else in LV have trouble getting the neighbors' mail or them getting yours? Happens to us all the time. Today we got our mail and it was so wet, we couldn't open it without ripping the paper. Letting it dry out. The Zoo News magazine is history, though. Even dry, all the pages are stuck. Remember the good ole days when they delivered dry mail on rainy days? They used plastic baggies and didn't use our mail as an umbrella. Postal service has really gotten terrible. My dad worked at the LV post office for years. He'd turn over in his grave to see this so-called service.
Tracking online says two packages were delivered on Saturday, February 25th at 11:50 a.m. We were home and NO packages were delivered. I stopped our mail carrier today to ask if she'd delivered on Saturday. She said she had. I asked her if she remembered delivering a package to our home. She said she forgot one package and came back around later, but she couldn't be sure if it was for us. I tried to call the LV post office all day today and no one answers the phone. No automated answering. No busy signal just ringing off the hook. All day.
Nobody's sure whether the station has a REAL phone, or not! I've not known it to be answered, in 12 years! A number of my packages have gone missing, over at least a couple of years. For awhile, one of the managers was closing reports off the system. ONCE, after a manager confronted her, she sent me an email that said, We have given you a remedy. If you have any questions, call (station phone number). If packages go missing, on the same carrier's delivery days, be prepared to file complaints for months or years, before anyone takes notice.

They r not answering their phone. I have no car or I would just go there ! I was calling on a item, I never received!!! It shows it was deliver in my mail box. I've never receive it!
My mail man , has made many mistakes
By putting my mail in other people's mailbox
And vice versa! Thank god. Those people were honest and return those items. To my apt. I talk to the mail man. And told him to plz pay attention of mail box numbers

My mail has not been picked up for two days and the phone number has been busy all day. If I would have known they were not working on Wednesday and Thursdays I would have taken it to the post office because it needed to be posted with yesterday's date. Typical problem with the Linda Vista post office.
Set out bag (used one provided by mail carrier) filled with food on Saturday for the Food Drive. Mailperson came by, delivered our mail, spoke for a few minutes to my husband...and left WITHOUT the bag of food. We thought perhaps he was going to finish his route and then come back using his vehicle to pick up the various bags of food in our neighborhood. Finally went outside to retrieve the bag of groceries after dark! What happened???
The postal carrier left our postal kiosks boxes "Unlocked" last evening at approximately 5:15 P.M. The female carrier was driving a van as opposed to the regular postal type truck that services or fashion hills neighborhood. She had dark hair and I believe her hair may have been up. She appeared to be in a big hurry. This is not acceptable due to very important mail being expected. Please correct this problem today as the mailbox kiosks is still "Unlocked"! Please inform me via my email, when this has been corrected!
I love this post office! If there is a line they knock it out really quickly. I would know, I always have my toddler with me & though it turns out he has more patience than most of the adults in this thread he still makes waiting in a line interesting. If it was too unbearable I wouldn't come back to this branch but the clerks here are on it often juggling multiple customers and kind despite! Chris (I think he's a manager) even entertained my 2 yr old when I had to repackage a box. I'm writing this today because I was late getting there today & he ran out to my car to grab my prepaid box while he was locking up! I didn't even have to get out of my car! Made my day.
I think this is one of the worst post office operations too! They ALWAYS are late on the route, have missing mail, long lines - makes you WANT to privatize the USPS and make all of them "dream on" when it comes to their cozy fed pensions! If you ask me it is tax dollars wasted!
I want to speak to the post master I have tracked my package which was delivered by by ups to you on June 13th to 92111 my post office they sent it all the way to Bell Gardens, California 90201 to sort it and I live in 92111 why would you do something so stupid?????? I am located about 3 miles from the 92111 post office I still don't have my sign and I needed that for and open house this sunday I ordered it on 9-10-14..... What the heck is wrong with the US postal service......they are hiring all the substitutes to work I have had a different mail person every two weeks for the last 6 months..... what happened to my regular postal person....Not only that they removed our post office box we now have to drive to the nearest post box..... its way up and down hills - we don't have a box we can walk to anymore...... PUT IT BACK on MT ACADIA!!!!!!! I have been on hold to speak to the post master for 35 minutes now - This is very very disappointing.....Keep charging us more and more money and then treat us crappy is a sin......where are the US postal service work ETHICS?????? 2 things: The phone # listed here is wrong! The correct # is 858-277-0832The only way to get anyone to answer the damn phone here is to keep calling over and over and over letting the phone ring until the ph company cuts you off each time! Just go make some lunch or something while redialing lol
