I live in Quail Run Estates, which is a 55 plus community. I know that the friendly postal carriers are well aware of this. I received an extremely large box that was put in the largest box container. It was crammed in there so hard that I had to tear the box apart to get it out. All of that while I'm trying to keep open the spring loaded door. I scraped my hand and my arm in this attempt. People that live here are well over 55 for the most part. I happen to be facing severe carpal tunnel and my hands don't even close and are very painful. I'm not alone in this as we all get arthritic as we age. Please counsel the postal mail deliverers that when they are in Senior communities they need to try to be considerate of their physical limitations. Some can barely walk up to their mailbox let alone haul something back down that is big or ripped open. This was the case for me. I know it's a pain in the neck to bring a box to the door but this was ridiculous. It never should have been put in there. I have found all of the staff at our main post office extremely friendly and helpful. The same goes for the mail delivery people. So this is just an itch that should be easily fixed with a little consultation! Thank you so very much. D

On Saturday 4 Feb 2023 we received a pinkish "Sorry we missed you while you were out" noticed. What it really meant was "We were too lazy to deliver your mail to the house. Have a nice day". We have a house set back from the curb, a wide driveway to the house, plenty of room to turn abound, front door clearly visible and my wife and I were home all day on Saturday. I like the Post Office and I support them, well, except the PostMaster closing down services, but the rank and file do pretty well, and then this non delivery lack of effort really irritates me. And it certainly make me less supportive of the USPS as a whole. Yeck!!!

Are they no longer delivering and picking up mail on Saturday? Put a letter in my mailbox before 7:30 A.M. Saturday morning but no pickup as of 6:45 P.M. Saturday evening. I thought it was delivered rain or snow, sleet or rain etc? Whats up? This is in the Fresno Street, Merry Hill Road, 12th Street.
