Today I was short on time.i needed to get two parcels out. I was rushing after an appointment at Huntington Hospital, I asked for the nearest post office while there and a nurse said oh there is one just up. The street in the Von’s shopping center near Bank of America. So I found it only to find out it had just closed at 5:30. A kind man, who we found out was the postal person there and just going back to your main office I think on Lincoln Avenue. He said, that the office there closed at 6 PM and offered to have us follow him back there and not to worry, we would make it in time and that he would hold us a place in line. Well he did, he was sweet and kind. Unfortunately a personal matter and suggested that we go the Vallarta store for my convenience, no that was too far, so we left and drove straight home to a Pico Rivers...🥴 in time. My point...the employee’s name was Makaela if I am correct in name, but I am sure I am murdering his name. Please reward or mention how wonderful he was. You see I am on a cane and getting around can be a real bother in public. Makaela eased my worries with in a very fine calming manner. I hope someone lauds him for thi real act of kindness. Thank you Makaela
