I live at 4318 Collins Court here in Mt. View. The postal carriers to this address fail to pick up mail that is addressed to this apartment complex but who no longer live here. Right now there are about 10 envelops, etc. that have been here for at least two weeks. Some of that mail appears to be urgent like insurance papers, bills and a whole lot more. In addition, the carriers sometimes put the mail in the wrong box. For instance, yesterday mail for my neighbor was put in my mail box. It seems to me that they rush through deliveries and make a whole lot of errors in the process. Would you please correct this?

Just last week alone, I have three packages that were supposed to be delivered by USPS get scanned "delivered" and supposedly left at my mailbox but were never found. Since the mailbox is locked and only USPS and I have access to it, it was obvious that USPS lost the packages and just mis-labelled those packages as "delivered". Multiple households in my apartment building experienced the same thing.

the mail carrier keeps pushing things out of her way with her mail truck! She is damaging garbage cans, kids toys and the mail truck. It is always a female driver doing this because she doesn't want to exit her truck to deliver our mail. Neighbors are complaining too

What happened to 24-hour lobby access at the 211 Hope Street location in Mountain View? All three (3) of the lobby doors are now LOCKED at night... so it is impossible to access our Post Office Box and impossible to utilize the USPS self-service kiosk in the lobby!!! What's going on at the 211 Hope Street USPS location??? It appears it is even worse than before... and now they are denying access to the lobby where our Post Office boxes are located!!! Are you kidding me? Are you also going to refund our ever-increasing Post Office box fees due to lack of access to our mail? Also, the contact telephone numbers listed are totally useless... as nobody ever answers those telephones! I too am contacting the Postmaster General to issue our complaint about the lack of 24-hour lobby access that was imposed without any notice whatsoever to the Post Office box holders!!! (The useless "Lobby Access: 24-hours" sign is still posted on the locked lobby doors at night!) The very least you could do would be to post some sort of notification of the change in 24-hour lobby access. Get your act together!

We have a new mail carrier on Paul Ave who is making many errors in delivery. Today I received 2 pieces of mail that were delivered to the incorrect address yesterday and today I should have received a Netflix DVD which I DID NOT receive. I tried to speak with the new mail carrier who did not understand what I was trying to tell him and was extremely rude and kept trying to walk away from me. Can you please make sure your trainees get adequate training before they attempt to deliver the mail. I have "Informed Delivery" and know what I should be getting everyday and now on 2 different occasions, I have not received my mail correctly or when I should have.

Package still at this post office that was given to them on December 3rd. They should be ashamed. I have been waiting for two weeks to receive it. How can anyone trust them with ballots when they can't even deliver Ebay packages.

Question: What is the protocol when the flag is up on my mailbox (indicating there is mail to go), IF the postperson has mail for me he stops, takes the outgoing mail and leaves my mail. If the flag is up and I do not have mail that day he drives right by. I find that annoying; but I may be in the wrong-perhaps that is what he is supposed to be doing. Do not know all the rules; but do not want to confront him without knowing all the rules and taking the chance I will not get mail at all if I irritate him. Can you tell me the rules governing delivering/picking up mail?

TO postal Manager. I was thinking about the event for more than a month. While my regular mail delivery person was on her vacation for 3 weeks, I watched a you asian female mail delivery person was not going thru each house's mail box but came through backside road, she dropped my mail only because I was outside watching her then drive through not putting anybody's mail in the box and exit the back door. I also notice a few times shipping boxes ripped open threw on the side of road and some time contents exposed but did not taken. I guess they did not like it. I also suppose to received my delivery from the Amazon order on March 20. when I tracked my shipping item stopped somewhere. To this day I have not received mine. I live in Santiago Villa.

Mt View, California Post Office is the most frustrating post office I have ever dealt with in the United States. I have lived in 10 different states and most of the time every postal work has been very pleasant. Dealing with the Hope St Mountain View Post Office the last two years pushed me to contact the Postmaster general. He at least returned my call and tried to help me. He said he would send a message to the district manager and the supervisors involved. He said that they have had nothing but problems with the Mountain View Postal workers. So I asked so why are they still there?. Maybe Move them around if you don't want to term them. I have managed people for over 30 years and I can't believe nothing can be done.

Mt View Post Office is a joke, delivery status of packages states delivered, yet no package left. This has happened consistently, thieves? Or lazy a**holes? No reattempt delivery for signed packages and now I'm tracking my package for over a week and it can't be found. Spoke to numerous employees and they told me I don't know how the postal system works. Clearly they don't want to know how many family members i have that work for the Postal service, including the husband. What a waste of paychecks

Telephone is not answered at Hope St. Mtn. View location. I tried numerous times. USPS toll free number agent advised me that I must call MV number to speak to a local agent. Doesn't help when no one answers the phone - not even a recording

I went to pick up package yesterday my boyfriend sent me and I had to sign for the package. I went up to the clerk to pick up my package and was rudely told to wait by the door. I ran the buzzard the mail clerk who waited on me had all the charm of a gnat. He goes into the back to pick up my package which took him forever. Then he comes back with my tracking slip with a scowl on his face like I should have signed the slip. He could have politely told me to sign the slip. Then to make matters worse another very rude employee who had to use the door where I was standing almost rudely knocks me down without saying excuse me! Finally he comes back with my small package. Reluctantly tells me have a good day. My dad worked as a letter carrier for my many years and he was always nice and courteous to the people had to deal with. I have also worked customer service and retail in the past. When you are working with the public you should be courteous and polite. The way I was treated yesterday I don't want to have to come to your post office ever again!

I went to Mountain View post office on 1/7 for my documents via International express flat rate with tracking # of EH001414437US. The clerk told me it takes 3-5 days. Now it's 1/16, the package is no where to be seen. I tracked the internet and first showed 1/12 out for delivery. Today 1/16, I checked again, it's still out for delivery. It's a very important document and a lot of people are involved and waiting for the documents. I paid $62.50 for such service?

If anyone looks up the "world's worst customer service" in the dictionary, a drawing of USPS 211 Hope St. 94041 is depicted. Most of their staff are unhappy or doing the bare minimum to not get fired. Picking up a package may take up to 30 minutes just to get someone to open the door (because they ignore the buzzer). Also, some helpful staff member may say to wait (indefinitely) because there is "no one available" even though there are obviously plenty of staff walking around leisurely. Furthermore, the line for customer service moves slower than a glacier without global climate change. It can sometimes grow out the door with wait times exceeding 40 minutes, even with all 4-5 stations open.Post office (PO) boxes maybe cheaper than other package receiving services, but Amazon and many other businesses still discriminate against them.Try a "real address" box store, because it will likely save headaches and time.
