I have been going to this location for 10 years now, ever since I started my home business. I go there everyday to drop off my online orders. The clerks there are amazing, especially Joyce, Tye and Trudy. They are super friendly and always very kind to me. I sometimes talk to them about my problem buyers and they always give me great advice from their experience with working with clients there. Then suddenly this new employee showed up. Here name is TITIANA. She is the worst customer service rep I have dealt with. First of all, she always looks upset and angry, before you even get to her window. She is even rude when you are courteous to her. Whenever I see a customer say thank you to her when their transaction is complete, she never reply, just looks away, like she is irritated. I avoid her window at all cost. I will always let the person behind me go ahead when her window becomes open. Anyways, I just got so tired of her being rude to me and other customers so I started going to the Post Office on Cherekee. Also, I mentioned about her with the Manager name (Maria). I asked her why is this Postal employee so rude. And Maria replied: "I can't control their personality". Huh?? What a joke. If you must go there, just stay away from TITIANA, she's the clerk that's always frowning.

This is a notice to those who may consider getting passport services done at the Hollywood post office. Beware of Gerardo, the post office worker who services the passport office. He is rude, arrogant, incompetent, and likes to make his own rule to possibly charge you extra for service. For instance, he would make excuse to not take old passport as both proof of ID and citizenship, even though it is written in the instruction of the application form nor confirm that it is not allowed by the State Department. When questioned, he then would not take birth certificate as proof of ID and did not explain his reason despite the instruction on the application form. This is so he can administer an affidavit of witness in lieu of the proof submitted, make a paper copy of the witness ID, and charge $1 extra to the $35 service fee they are already charging. He never explained prior to doing this that extra fee will be included, how much the passport photo will cost, nor what the $35 fee covers in the service rendered. Be careful of his fraudulent, misleading behavior, rule changing service according to his daily whims. He is the worst civil servant you will come across; his incompetence, rudeness, and shadiness make one wonders why the post office manager is not aware or perhaps condones such service to go on despite all the bad reports about his service. Consider getting your passport service done elsewhere, but if you must go to Hollywood and encounter Gerardo, consider asking to speak to his manager to get proper service, or you will leave the post office with the thought of how incompetent, ignorant, and ethically challenged the US postal service is, when in reality it is the action of one depraved civil servant named Gerardo.

I live on Afton Place. A few hours ago I went online to track a package I was expecting and found that the postal delivery person had falsely claimed that an attempt to deliver the package was made last night and that a note was left to inform me how to make further arrangements. I was home at 7:46pm yesterday when the attempt was supposedly made. There is a call box at the front gate. If an attempt was made all the postal delivery person had to do was call my apartment number and I would've buzz them in. Instructions are on the call box. It's very simple to do. There were tenants sitting out by the front gate last night. They would've assisted the delivery person IF there actually was one to be assisted. Also, I went outside to look for a note and there was none. ***** The last few hours were spent filing complaints online and over the phone..and scheduling a "re"-delivery. Thanks, Mr./Ms postal delivery person, for your honesty and trustworthiness.

I understand that times are very fragile at this time and we all are doing our part to stay safe but what is unacceptable and unprofessional on the part of the post office is to not inform the front office of an apartment building for seniors and disabled that the mail will be stopped due to the mail carrier feeling unsafe. I believe that this action is placing seniors and the disabled at greater risk of being exposed by having them have to go and pick up mail. Many are waiting for medication to be mailed. If the mail carrier has an issue with anyone at the building her plan should have been to inform the office and not take it upon herself to pull a power trip and stop delivering mail. How would she like it if her mother/father would be left without this service? She should be moved to another route if she cannot deal with seniors/disabled or better yet perhaps this is not a job for her. What will be her excuse next time when an uncomfortable situation arises? Please train these carriers on proper protocol and also supervisors need to return calls in a timely manner.

I am filing a complaint about our mail delivery on the 1300 block of N. Citrus Ave. 90028 We have not received the food ad circulars for 5 weeks in a row now. Before it was hit or miss. I depend on these as I know others also do in our neighborhood. This is totally unacceptable! I have called the Hollywood Post Office for five weeks straight and each time I am told the carrier with be questioned and the problem will be fixed. NOTHING! NO CHANGE. In addition mail is often delivered to the wrong address. I had two letters in my box just this week that were not for me. I am a nice person and walked it to the correct address. Is any of my mail being delivered elsewhere? I would say it would be safe to say, yes. This is a formal complaint. We need a remedy immediately. Oh, did I mention the mailbox was left open one day after mail was placed in the boxes?

Horrible, this is the second time the old African-American dude "loses" my package. I printed a label at Jan 10, 2017 13:38:30 PST Transaction ID: 3XP455197Y2505724 I walk it to the post office and hand it to him and ask him to scan it in. He refuses and throws my package onto a counter top. I check yesterday and today, and it shows received TODAY at 5 pm? He does this all the time, he is rude, and other employees have told me he should have been fired years ago. I am informing E-bay, and I have sent my Senator a letter.

This evening, November 7th the mail carrier delivering on Afton Place, Ca 90028, when being told about how mail given to the post carrier was not being delivered any where near on time became horribly abusive. I have always supported USPS and have even contacted elected representatives when I have felt that congress has been treating the employees of the USPS unfairly by interfering with their pension plan .
I am tired of the rudeness and incompetence of your representatives to we the public. I don't think I want to support you any more, even though I think a public mail service is something that any healthy society should want.
