Absolutely terrible delivery service. If you pay for Priority Mail, don't expect for this office to deliver the package on time. Our mailperson only makes one trip to my large apartment building and will leave anything extra for delivery the next day. I've watched her. It's ridiculous.
Have tried calling this branch for hours with no answer. I need to confirm if a missing mail item is in their possession before sending my senior citizen mother down to retrieve in the midst of covid concerns and cannot reach anyone to help.
I called 05/13/20 Four times and finally @1225hrs the phone was answered by a person that was very short with me (Flat Rude) and told me she was waiting for someone named Fran to call, and since my name wasn't Fran, she promptly placed me on hold. I am STILL on Hold as I write this. I am now getting a better understanding of what might have happened to my medications that come through the mail. My medications were SUPPOSED to be shipped from the Long Beach Post office under EJ310443125US LAST Month. It has been 14 days and I have already opened a Case, Completed a Survey and Spoken to people in both Cincinnati and Long beach and NOBODY knows what happened to my medication package. Your ad says to use USPS if I wanted Reliability in shipping, but it appears this is not the case for EJ310443125US. I need to know how I can get the $100 insurance payment for what has obviously become a LOST package of Medicine. I wonder if she was the same person that took that man's IPad. Either way, it seems there are a number of things that are turning up missing from that post office. Someone needs to do an investigation right AFTER they find My Package because I Need my Medications. I am Diabetic (among other things) and my Life depends on getting all my Meds. You should Drug test your staff AGAIN cause some Crackhead is stealing packages.
Shipped a package to myself from this post office to Charlotte NC. The clerk watched me put an ipad in that package. She said it should arrive the following week. It arrived 2 weeks later. The package was opened and the only thing missing was the ipad. Don't know if she was the one who took it but she was the only one who knew it was in there.
This is a complaint as to the postman who delivers to our office building located at 100 West Broadway, Long Beach, CA 90802. He is always late in delivering the mail as late as 4:30 or so each day. This is a business building not a residential and mail is very important to a business.
Absolutely sad here.
I've had a window closed in my face because it was someone's lunch break. (I was the last one in line.)
Awful things are an occurrence here, like when the mailman lost the key to our mail room and they would not replace it so they just failed to deliver our mail for 6 months while they fought with the condo association as to who would pay the $50 fee to receive a new one.
I start waiting for the mail man personally en route. I ask him everyday about my package that says "out for delivery", or my extremely important classified mail documents. He finally laughs one day and says he doesn't even bother putting them in the truck.
Ok, whatever big deal...
So I'm waiting patiently on Monday July 3rd (not yet a holiday) for my package that says "out for delivery." Great! I waited for 3 hours, received nothing. Asked my neighbors if they have seen the mail man as I realize there are now several people waiting for important mail.
The post man decided to not deliver anything, and I received a notice from my tracking site that A NOTE HAD BEEN LEFT. No note was left. The post man didn't even make an appearance. I work every day 7am-530pm with no time to run to the post office to pick up my extremely important package. I am livid.
No one really cares here. I get that it isn't the customer service industry, but not receiving my mail is a bit ridiculous. I'm not asking anyone to even be nice to me. I am asking you to actually deliver my mail.
This place sucks! I've never had any problem with any of my mail/ packages unless they come here. Mail carrier doesn't delivery mail then tells their supervisor that the tenant where I live says there's no one with my name living at the delivery address when the tenant is my aunt & will not dare do that. I call to speak to the supervisor and they tell me I can't go pick up mail even withy ID as proof because I don't live at my very own address. How is that even possible? How would they know? I've been receiving my mail here for year & this suddenly happens. Fishy!!! I ask them if there's any way to fix the issue and they said the only way is for the tenant (my aunt) to tell the mail carrier that I do live there. Okay, so what of the mail carrier still doesn't deliver what else could I do? They were giving me such a hard time, screaming at me, being sarcastic as they talked. So rude!!! They really need to check these lazy workers.
