When tracking packages that said out for delivery in the morning , than at the end of the day it says ready for pickup with no notice on my front door ! This has happened numerous times now ! Absolutely unsatisfied with this !!!
The postal carrier that delivered to 700 W 6th St today, is so extraordinary that I wanted to submit KUDOS to him!
He appears to be in his early thirties, wears long dark blonde hair back in a hair tie, and actually looks professional and polished in his ironed uniform and TIE. The best part is that he will quietly wait until you are ready to take the mail, and HAND it to you gently. Most toss and leave. He is extremely professional and we appreciate him! We also appreciate the woman carrier as well as the larger carrier with red hair and shorts. The gentleman with the tie deserves a compliment, as his service is few and far between!+
I received a final notice slip . Which is funny because this was the only notice I have ever received. Also I keep calling to see what the options are because I work 9 to 6 and have no way of leaving work . I keep calling on my breaks and lunch and its Ethier a long wait time tell some one does answer or no one does . Also when I went to track the item online it said delivery delay and didn't give me any other info .
Did not get held mail @ end of hold period. Have been trying to call Gilroy P.O. for 3 hours. No one answers the phone there. The 800 number does not provide an option to report held mail concerns. Now I will have to leave work to hopefully resolve this in person.
Returned from vacation, held mail was to be delivered today. No mail. Tried to call Gilroy P.O. twice. First it rang for 7 minutes with no answer. Tried again & it rang for 12 minutes with no answer -- then someone picked up the phone, said nothing despite my repeated "Hellos," and then they hung up the phone. I dialed back immediately, 6 more times, and got a busy signal each time. (Also tried the 800 number, & was told that to talk to a representative i would be on hold for 20-25 minutes.)
One would think that with the Right Wing in Washington trying to privatize the postal service, citing inefficiency and poor service as one of their reasons, that the postal service would devote their full attention to taking care of customers.
I tracked my package online today 02/06/18 and it said package delivered to my address and put in parcel box, there was no parcel box key in my mail box, there was two parcel boxes with no keys I called at least ten times to number on USPS web site for Gilroy is listed as (408)-842-1354, no one answered the phone
