Missing access to parcel locker which may contain my missing Rx prescriptions shipped Tuesday, supposedly delivered Wednesday.
Rx's necessary for me to live.
No locker key provided.
I called local post office.
She said she would reach the letter carrier.
Letter carrier removed 2 notes on and in my locking letterbox yesterday.
He left no response.
Worse-- No key.
First of all, I appreciate the professional (and friendly!) service our Postal Deliverers have provided in the 20-plus years we have lived in Tempe. That said, last week six letters addressed to our neighbors on Dateland Dr. were deposited in our mail box. Hand-delivering these letters (one of which being an offical governmental notice), I was informed of several other instances of incorrectly delivered mail.
As we approach the hectic holiday season -- and considering the legal/financial ramifications of incorrectly mailed correspondence -- I ask that USPS reviews and enhances the accuracy of its delivery system. The Postal Service may conclude that additional people should be hired to adequately fulfill its critical mission.
On Monday, November 27th, I mailed, at my post box in the outgoing mail slot,a small book on grieving to a friend in Glendale who lost her husband just before Thanksgiving. She has STILL not received the envelope. This was a very important communication and I'm very upset that she has not received it. This is not the first time I've had problems with mail being delivered on time or at all!
This post office does not pick up the phone. I have been trying to call for the past few days (not including sunday and the holiday this past Monday.) I am trying to figure out what happened with my package and why it is undeliverable before they try to send back to sender, but no one answers the phone here and I call weekdays during regular business hours and nothing. Unsatisfactory and unprofessional.
