I ordered a dress for a very important day, my daughters wedding, I had just moved and as I ordered my dress I had been waiting on this dress to come in and looking every day for it to come. I got an email stating that it was delivered but the address was wrong. I called Cottage Hill post office around 4:27 pm and spoke with a Chantelle, worried they had already shipped my dress back to the company. Chantelle, stayed on the phone with me and found my package asked if I could come get the dress that day. I had to be at work and couldn’t get my dress until the filling day. She said no problem she would make sure it was in great hands until I got there the following day!!! Now that is what I call going that extra mile!!!! Not many workers would stay after hours to help someone like this, I just thought someone needed to know that you have an amazing worker and I truly appreciate this woman, she has saved me a lot of heartache and she put that 110% in to her job!!! Chantelle, has saved this moms daughters wedding day from being a disaster!!!
I have been trying to file a temporary change of address, to have mail sent from our po box, to our home address, to avoid going out while the virus endangers us. Due to the old address being a po box, it is required that the original person getting the po box, requests the temporary change of address. The site will not accept my name, or my spouses name. We are the one(s), who got the box and make the payments. now what? Tried to call the post office, no answer.
I keep having delivery problems with this location also. The packages are usually lost and I have a very hard time trying to track it myself. They are totally not much help. End up not receiving my orders. Possibly the mail carrier stealing or leaving at wrong locations. My postal person STAYS on their phone during the whole time. Not paying attention
Had huge delivery issues with this location. I own a business and received a notice that they were unable to deliver a small package I had shipped to my business location and was sent a Delivery Exception stating they did not have access to the location to deliver the package. My store is open from 10 AM until 11 PM and they "attempted delivery" was at 4:09 PM. Apparently the carrier did not want to get out of their truck and walk into my store.... This is unacceptable!!
I was told call back about package delivery I talk to Valarie who said she left a message for her supv .then took my information and to call SAt morning at 9am. some would be their at 8am. No answer I call at 8:30am still no answer recording says close. ( hours for Sat 9am-12:00pm) I was calling about a package delivery to a handicap person. I am very upset with this office you all do not care!!!
hey I was supposed to have a package a month ago .. mysteriously it stopped showing tracking updates after mobile alabama... i'm thinking someone there may have stole it because it contained kratom which is illegal in alabama.. but it's not in Florida, which is where it was addressed... I filed a missing mail report and noone found it ""... This is b.s. because you have it somewhere unless an employee has stolen it and nothing has been done what so ever. I payed $80 for it and I need it. Please do your job and manifest my package because packafges don't just grow legs and walk out of a storage facility... IT's there. PLEASE FIND IT ee190673969id
Apparently if an Apt# is not on an envelope the mail person is to lazy to just show it to the Manager in the office so it can get to the right person on time. She has to go to the Office anyway so why not just ask the Manager in the office.
Looks like post offices like to tamper with your packages and steal your contents then replace it with a tiny blanket (the original package had a 45 serving pre-workout). All they do is give me the run around.
Apparently there's an address on the next street with the same numbers as my address. I ordered something and they sign for my stuff opened it and used it I had to threaten with a letter in order for them to return it but still you know it wasn't yours you didn't order it so why open it. and just the other day as I'm standing outside the mail carrier delivers mail but they gave me the other people on the next street mail instead of them paying attention to detail they only look at the numbers and not the street that there are delivering to.. this is such an inconvenience and I'm even scared to order anything for Christmas for my kids because the post office is not paying attention to what they're doing and allowing my stuff to be delivered to other. People's address who are clearly criminals because they opened something that didn't even have their name on it that they know they didn't order I'm sick of it and don't know how to go about them fixing this problem
My mail carrier refuses to deliver packages to my apartment. He only leaves pick up slips in my mailbox. Most of the time this is a terrible inconvenience. I paid to have it delivered to my house. The last package was lost at the post office, however. From now on, I think I'll start boycotting any online business that delivers with USPS.
I made a phone call this morning, about 10 am to the Cottage Hill location, to inquire about a package that was not delivered & to see if it may have been sent back to that location so that I could pick it up. After calling, at least, 6 times and being hung up on, it was answered. The female that did answer was very unfriendly, unprofessional & it was obvious that my call was a nuisance to her.
I understand that she was busy, maybe understaffed, I don't know. But, it was not necessary for me to be talked to the way she did.
