Mail was not delivered or picked up on Fontana Lane NE in Huntsville, AL 17 May 21., and I am curious to know the reason why. The same has happened on several other occasions and seems to be getting worse. Also, mail has been delivered to the wrong addresses. On many occasions, I have witnessed the carrier driving very fast, and not stopping to pickup outgoing mail, and this has gotten to be a problem. I am concern a child might get hit. So, I finally decided to report it. The problem is not with our regular carrier (Denise) but with a male carrier, and the problem is getting worse. Hope something can be done about it. Currently, we never know whether we will get our mail, or whether our outgoing mail will be picked up.


I have been home all day waiting for my package to come. I look out my window see the postal worker stop at my mailbox, I go to the door to receive my package and the truck pulls off. I check my mailbox and there is the orange slip sorry we missed you. Now I have to wait until tomorrow to receive my package I am not a happy camper!!!!


So, i was expecting a package yesterday and heard nothing until about 19:40 when i tracked it and it said that the delivery was attempted and could not be completed, and the item was being held at the facility for pickup. I checked my 360 degree security cameras all over my property, and it picked up numerous birds, squirrels, a fedex delivery driver, and even shifting shadows as the sun moved (super sensitive) but no USPS carriers. Obviously I was not quite Ok with this. I called the facility and spoke to a very helpful woman who explained that the carrier yesterday was on weight restriction, and could not carry the package (some power tools, probably 30 pounds). They are going to make sure that they give it to a carrier today that is able to actually deliver it. I more than understand the issues right now with reduced staff, and weight restrictions further compounding it. I just wish more communication or actual notes were available to explain. The note that was in there was very vague, and quite implied that I would have to go pick it up myself. TL;DR. The facility ran into an understandable complication, and the greater USPS group has no method in place for proper customer communication, and it REALLY should.


or them to open so I could call and see why, it says my 2 packages were delivered to my mailbox Friday, but only 1 was !! And today is Monday and still no answer. One was indeed there, but the other one was NOT. So I know no one took it out. Who would only take 1 package and not both! I need answers! Worst carrier service I have ever experienced !


I had a package sent via the post office, which was a Christmas present for my daughter. It arrived at the Mastin Lake post office and scanned in. It was scheduled to be delivered to the Ashville post office but never made it. Still to this day, 13 days later, upon tracking package, it still shows not leaving the Mastin location. My husband drove there, over an hour away, to pick the package up and the postal workers said they could not locate it. Why? I definitely suspect someone there stole my package which was a laptop.


I have had enough. Am not sure who to talk to but it has just gone on long enough. Have lived here for 10 years now. I can say that is postal service in my are is crap (with the exception of the older gentleman that goes above and beyond) they stuff my box with things that are too big instead of coming to my door, they leave my mailbox open with things hanging out for just anyone to take and now today when I was expecting a package I get a message from the sender saying that they had tried to deliver and could not get to my door!! Bull crap!! They never came and there is a clear path to my door just like anyone else in the neighborhood!! I have had it!! And when I tried to call no one answers at the post office over and over again so I call another location and they said that they are having the same problem getting them to answer their phone!! Really!! Someone help here!!


How disgusting that I call so many times and the phone is NEVER answered. How can we get an answer to a question if you NEVER EVER PICK UP THE PHONE


Worst postal service imaginable. So far I have had checks stolen, boxes opened to see what was inside, then half closed. Goes days without getting my mail, then maybe a piece or two. This office needs to be audited and a full do over done on this location!
