I put in a temporary forward. My mail is still being delivered intermittently at the old address. Through informed delivery and neighbor reports, I know mail is still being delivered! No one ever answers the calls at the Decatur post office. The automated service is terrible.

I was supposed to receive a sentimental package for a gift for someone. This was a handmade gift that can’t be replaced. They delivered it to the wrong address. When I went to the post office to see what happened they said they would call me back and never did. Nor can I get in touch with anyone. Not to mention, they have delivered my mail multiple times to the wrong address. They are the worst postal service I have ever had to deal with.

My mail person NEVER leaves my packages on my front porch. I have to go and get them which causes me trouble because I have epilepsy and heat sets my seizures off and I have walked out in front of cars before when having a seizure. I was told that they didn’t have to do it. They post office also never answers the phone.

For the past two days, actually more, I have had the flag up and mail in the box - the post person, if they actually came, drove right by not even stopping. I actually watch them do this one day. When they decide to deliver mail, they don't close the mail box (not to good when it is raining) nor put the flags down. It is now 6;10PM and I just took the mail that I wanted to send out of the box and will probably take it to the post office tomorrow. Some needs to be done.

This is always done to me and the phone is never answered. The post woman tells me they don’t have to leave it on the porch even though I ask for it to be left there.

I spoke to a lady in 3/2/2021 that said she would hold my package in order for me to come and pick it up that next morning (3/3/2021). I go in to the post office and it hasn’t been held but had been put “out for delivery by 5:30pm on 3/3/2021”. I am now back home and haven’t received it but my boyfriend received his mail. This is ridiculous and I am head over heels mad.

Been living in 35603 zip code for 3 years and am missing more mail/packages than I have in my entire life..What upsets me most is when it says delivered/dropped at door and I know and my door bell camera knows that it was NOT. I work at home and my desk faces mailbox...Some days he/she never even shows. I have a different mailman everyday. ????? OOOO and when I talked to Post Master/Sup she told me to get a PO Box if I am unhappy with deliveries....LMAO. Thats a pissed off Laugh by the way

Since I last visited may mail has gone from being delivered at 6:00pm to 8 pm or later. It is now 9pm and it still has not been delivered, I am tired of this, please speed up the mail carrier or replace her with somone who can deliver the mail faster.

Carrier is beyond lazy. She will try to stretch out of the mail truck to my box and if she can't reach the box she will simply leave, but she will get out and take the mail to the box next door. Emailed and called and no answers either way. Have not received mail in over 2 weeks now.

Carrier is so lazy that they can't take an extra minute to drive down the driveway. No, they stuff an oversized parcel into a too small mailbox. Whereas, you have to cut it open in order to get the contents out. My Mother is 90 yrs. old!! Carrier stated "Delivered, Left on Porch/Front Door"!!! Not out on US HWY 31 S, where they actually left parcel. Lied about where they didn't deliver it. Not the 1st time either. Want this Carrier reprimanded. Unprofessional conduct, endangering an elder person, who has to dodge traffic to get her mail from box!!! Oh, ANSWER ur damned telephone!!!

I receive e-mails from USPS notifying me of mail coming to me that day. Over the past few weeks I have not received 5 pieces of mail I was told were coming 5 of these were from my insurance providers please see what can be done about this. I know the subject mail was was out for delivery because my neighbors brought me 2 pieces delivered to their homes and as luck would have both were junk mail.

Our mail carrier refuses to deliver mail to our house, because she is afraid of cats. We have a stray that roams the neighborhood and sometimes resides on our front step. We have mad several complaints, but they defend their carrier. We have even attempted to get our mail from the post office itself, but the mail carrier picks it up every morning and holds it. We can't even get our own mail!

I have called a few times and promised my issue would be handled. Now when i call no answer. My store is closed on Monday and Tuesdays i keep finding my mail sitting on window seal or sticking out of my door. I have very important mail that comes here and this better not happen again. You need to call me or answer the phone and fix this issue now!! If my store is closed hold mail til next day we are open. A very simple request!!

I have had to send severl items to my brother overseas. In every case the Postal Sevice was less expensive than other carriers. On 2 occasions the clerk informed me if I would repack items in one of the Post Office boxes it would cost considerably less. I did and when I started to walk back to re-enter the que the clerk called to me and said I would be next as I had already qued. Great prices and service.

I have visited the Decatur Post Office recently to send a package to my daughter. The clerks there at the window were so helpful. They help me find the right size of box for the best rate. Informed me everything that I need to know. I was very happy with the service they've provided. On the other hand, there was another customer ahead of me whom was mailing out a pretty good size item, I saw the clerk was there helping him to trim the box, doing everything she could to help him out. I was so impressed. We need more good customer service in business every where/

I live at 2813 Westchester Dr SW Decatur Al 35603 I waited all day 07/14/2018 for a package to be delivered that required my signature, I had the tracking info on my phone when I received the message that no one was home and a notice was left. Well I don't know who the postman is but I can assure you he/she did not even come to my door but reported that they did, this person should be fired for lying. Also my mail gets wet every time it rains and it is a locked mail box. I know I will not receive an answer to this problem. But I so Hate a LAIR.

Since our regular mailman apparently retired, we are terribly disappointed with our mail delivery. We are lucky if it is here by 6 pm. I get informed delivery updates, and the mail that is scanned out for delivery does not show up in my mailbox for days. If I have no mail, but mail that needs to go out, and I put my flag up, it does not get picked up. Poor service all around.

I have received several pieces of mail lately which were mutilated due to the postperson stuffing as much into the box as possible. This has ruined pictures and magazines. The address is 712 Rigel drive. I would appreciate more care to my mail in the future.
