i think our postal workers here in Kodiak are very nice and helpful. In 30 years I've never had a bad postal worker. The phone will ring, if they are busy, they help the ones that are in front of them. I like that. I just called and it was answered and the man was super nice and very helpful. My post man goes above and beyond the call of duty to deliver our mail.

the phone number listed on web page & in phone book is no longer in use. There is no way to talk to a human on the 800 number. It would be helpful to know what hour the post office in Kodiak is open on Saturday in the lobby for package pick up. It is either noon to one pm, or one pm to two pm. I live out of town & cannot just run down there & check the time. Also, the lobby is listed on this site as being open 24 hours. It is no longer open past nine or ten pm.

I call and call and call and call and call and call and then finally I get through to only let it ring for 2-3 minutes just to be hung up on. Those people always have a rotten attitude and seem to be the laziest group of workers I've ever seen or met. Even the postman services in upstate New York are nicer and quicker.
