Local USPS employees have been doing the best they can, but the postmaster is inefficient, under trained, ineffective, irresponsible, judgmental, and harassing. The postmaster shows two horrible faces, cheerfully engages with the public and devalues staff. Direct observation, local newspaper, Google and social media search results will show concern of being short staffed for the past three years by both postmaster and customers. No one has EVER thought to question WHY there is such a high turnover rate. Being short staffed from June 17, 2020 and forward is used by the postmaster as a way of justification for upset customers. This shortfall is almost entirely the postmaster's fault. Constantly training MANY replacements for the SAME position within the same year and year after year after year, inefficiency slows operations for a very busy little post office. Definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results. A toxic workplace environment is defined by narcissistic behavior; offensive, and aggressive leadership; threatening behavior from managers and co-workers; and harassment, bullying, and ostracism. The postmaster has berated support staff in direct view of customers, displaying obvious lack of disrespect and caused employee embarrassment and humiliation. I have witnessed this unprofessional behavior numerous occasions. Unfortunately, employment laws do not prevent employers from acting in this manner. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Employees do not receive equal training. This often leads to errors, quality issues, and time lost repeating activities. This is also cause of employees leaving as it results in lack of career advancement. This is an act of discrimination from the postmaster. Why haven't the employees defended themselves if all of this is true? When an employee has contacted the postmaster's supervisor or employee union representative to file a complaint, there had been retaliation from the postmaster. The postmaster had effectively run off employees that had stood up for themselves. Some employees had their hours greatly reduced while others had been laughed at by the postmaster. The postmaster failed to recognize that by cutting back one person's hours puts more strain on an already short staffed crew. Employees had become frightened to defend their rights. This is disgusting. Job security threats to staff had been made by the postmaster. The postmaster insisted on engaging with employees at unreasonable hours of their personal time, relentlessly, and with negative input. This shows how inconsiderate the postmaster can be. The postmaster may not have a life outside of work but the employees would have liked to. This harassment has been ongoing for several years without penalty to the postmaster. The postmaster does not have the ability to recognize that the turnover is mostly due to the fault of the postmaster. This is narcissistic behavior. Nepotism gained momentum since the hiring of a good friend of the postmaster. Details omitted intentionally. This is not equal opportunity employment. The postmaster's inability to retain employees, puts pressure on existing employees, forcing them to work beyond reasonable expectations, and causing a poor life-work balance. This is also a cause of poor mental and physical health for the employee. Many had not noticed but when the postmaster was on medical leave there were more employees working less and for a continuous period! Turnover stopped until the postmaster came back. Pleading to the public in regards to your medical leave is no excuse, as this was ongoing before your illness. Nobody needs excuses. You need to do better or step down. Lastly, the employees of the United States Post Office are not YOUR clerks as you have posted as so on social media. They were and are employees of the government.

Amazon says it was delivered. Delta Junction AK post office tracking says it's waiting for pickup and has been since 11/7/2023. When addressee goes to pick it up, the post office worker says it isn't there. It's Ritz Cheese crackers, so WHO ATE THEM?

Our post office is doing a terrific job considering there is only 1 full time and 1 part time employee. It is hard for them to do the job of 4 people as there is only 1 1/2 of them. Please hire more people to help them!!!

Drove 10 miles to town check mail as had several packages. They decided to close the window early without notifying the public. Just a ‘sorry’ note on the door.

Twice in the last month I have not received my packages that were confirmed delivered to my box. The 2nd package I waited 20 mins from the time Cindy took my slip till she came back with packages. She gave out all packages and not mine. I ask her wheres my packages and the response was o I must have given it to someone else. O well maybe it will turn up... Is this really what our post office has become. Let's give out package that someone has worked hard and spent the money to order something but we just give them out to other people and hope that that person is honest and brings it back realizing it's not their package. These items are not something I can get a refund on because its scanned threw you post office as delivered.

Yesterday I made my once a month trip into Delta Junction and couldn't pick up my groceries at the post office. I was told there was a new policy that I had to have the slip from the mailbox with me. This is despite them knowing who I am since I have been using that post office for fourteen years. There should have been public notice. I count on those groceries!! Not acceptable!!
