Driver refuses to deliver oversized packages because we live on a private road. Unfortunately we are not able to pick up due to physical limitations, and the post office says too bad.
I would rank them lower but its not an option... US mail in Hayward WI has now gone from wildly unpredictable delivery, to completely unreliable delivery. This is Thursday 1/19/24 and the mail has only been here once out of three days I have never seen such shoddiness in 50 years, this is now officially a third world like mail system in the USA! We try to file complaints but nobody cares one whit, this is what comes from fascist democrats in charge of everything!
We complied with our postal carrier and got a new mailbox. An XL one at that to accommodate deliveries that will fit in it. Packages that are too large will have to be brought to the house.
Two packages were delivered today and then one minute later the carrier took them away. To where is unknown as they’re not in the mailbox. These packages we’ve been waiting for and we’re getting notifications from Amazon that they’re undeliverable as the “box is full”. This is ridiculous. We’ve had packages sitting on top of the mailbox and thrown down by the garage. Calling is worthless since no one answers.
Was messaged that my package was delivered to my front deck. When I got home low and behold...no package on either deck
Tried to call the post office no answer couldn't even leave a message. Tried to get hold of the carrier and couldn't even do that. You have to love the subs and the postal service.
You guys don't answer your phones, then when I went to talk to a live person about the incident they wanted to charge me $5.00, I should not have to pay when you guys screwed up. How in the world would a half a letter, yes half the envelope, half the letter, without the post carrior, not seeing it, what's my next step?
Today my package can't be delivered because the driveway was blocked - no way, Fed Ex just delivered a package to my front door, we have been using the road all winter long and it has been plowed all winter long. I could understand if we have 8 inches of snow and the road had yet to be plowed but this is not the case. This has gone on all winter - sometimes I have found packages outside the mailbox because they are too big and the delivery person won't drive down the road and put them at the front door! It's happened to my neighbor too. We also get a lot of wrong mail!
Many times I get an e-mail stating "out for Delivery" on today's date so I sit and wait for hours when I have places to go and things to do, and then when the finally mail comes the item(s) are not on the Delivery vehicle, happens often and it's very annoying. Is there something that can be done about this Delivery problems?
Postal workers to lazy to bring boxes to house but have left them at the garage door. since I do not go out there that often found a sat. delivery from Amazon at the garage on Tues and the contents frozen solid. this is the fourth time this has occurred and I have spoken, written and email the postmaster of the events each time but it continues. Will ask for Fed Ex delivery next time I order.
Yesterday 2/12/21 all our mail was mis-deliveried to our neighbor the Bates. Today 2/13/21 all the Bates mail was mis-delivered to our address. What is up with this mail man / women not being able to properly deliver...
Well this is getting ridiculous, mail delivered 6 and 7 at night, what's the problem! What are you going to do when Christmas Cards are coming and you have a snowstorm!
