Rural carrier piss-poor performance! New mailbox...2 weeks running, leaves mailbox door open. Today...witnessed delivery person leave it open again and nearly rip off the door pulling away...keeps going!!! Will they compensate...doubt it! Pissed...4th box in 2year span!!!

My dog was hit and killed by one of your postal carriers on Friday. I know she felt horribly bad but she was speeding and looking down at her lap. This was bad enough!! But when I called the post office on Saturday the lady that answered the phone was so defensive cocky and unsympathetic that it made it so much worse. I reminded her about our children and dogs in this neighborhood and that carriers should not speed and be aware of their surroundings which clearly she was not! She argued that the speed limit was 25 not 15 which 15 is posted everywhere. She also asked me what I wanted and that we were beating a dead horse!!! My dog died that day and she was the most unsympathetic person I have ever dealt with! With that I posted this on FB and it will be shared as many times as I can. Also all my friends here in South Shore Manor have children and dogs!! We will be watching and videoing Everytime your carrier comes in this subdivision!! I will not let one of my or anyone elses kids or dogs be run over by this women again! Then deal with the likes of whoever answered your phone on Saturday!! By the way no phones allowed in the truck? Duh I saw her with one and how did she call the Post Master? I'm a very disappointed resident here with no dog anymore!!

I received a package, delivered yesterday, that was severely damaged and left on our doorstep when we weren't at home. I called our local postoffice to see why there hadn't been notification that the box was basically destroyed. The postmaster spoke to our delivery person who verified the condition of the box was as I've described, however it wasn't "scanned as damaged", so there wasn't anything they could do. Since the package was sent "first class" there isn't any insurance on it, so I'm left hanging with the Seller. I can't prove the damage wasn't done by me!
