I am not happy with the lack of aptitude with the postal workers at the Adams, WI postal office. I opened a PO Box over a month ago, but wasn't having mail delivered to it up until the beginning of January. I had order a package through Kohls and had the delivery be my PO Box. In my email it stated that the package was delivered on Tuesday Jan. 15th. I wasn't able to make it to the office on Tuesday, so I went in before noon today (Wednesday) and was informed that they sent it back to Kohls. I was flabbergasted that I lost the ability to have access to my package ONE day after it was delivered. The lady behind the counter said she didn't know what to tell me. So, I did some legwork and found out that it was being shipped back to Kohl's not through Fed Ex, but through USPS, so I asked for the post office to get it returned, she told me that was impossible, and that I would have to contact Kohls. She DID state that it WAS the post office's fault as whoever gave me the keys to my box never took the plastic piece off of the back of my PO box, and so they didn't think it was an active box. Because of this, I am without a winter jacket. Kohls won't issue a refund until they received the package, and they won't just send it back to me, it was sent back to the warehouse where they will restock, and I will have to reorder and re-pay for the jacket that I want. I am VERY upset and frustrated with how I was treated and the resulting issue when this weekend is supposed to be the coldest of the winter.

When I go to various post office mail boxes - like the one in ADAMS, WI - I do the "drive through" - the box states - NEAREST OR LAST collection spot. Says an address... but no CITY. This isn't just this mailbox - but I have NO idea where some of these addresses are. Why not add the city, and zipcode. Even the state - this is a federal "service." How hard can it be to add that?
