I couldnt agree more about the management at the valleyford post office. We have had trouble getting our mail in our mail box and not in other mail boxes. We have yet to get the medication that was sent to us it went to someone else and have yet to receive it. I have complained for years about there service ever since Chuck retired or just left and if he just left I can see why. They go threw employees faster than I change my underwear. Even when they have experienced employees there they still use the same excuse when they dont deliver. ( there new people) I dont care where they have worked before they still need to have the ability to read and know there numbers apparantly they do not. There is obviously no training there or the manager has no idea what she is doing and I think the later. I would like to get a bunch of us together and do a mob call to her boss. And maybe something will finally get done and get someone in there that takes pride in what they do.

I absolutely agree with the posting by Robyn about the unprofessional behavior of the clerk at the Valleyford Post Office. Prior to our previous Postmaster Deena's retirement, service was prompt, friendly, and professional, and I only had one piece of mail damaged in nearly twenty years. The new Postmaster and a more recently hired clerk have unapologetically damaged so much of my mail that it's ridiculous! I tried to be polite about it, but they were incredibly rude and had nothing but excuses for their poor work performance and refused to either hold my mail and put a call tag in my box when my box was full, or be reasonable about handling my mail in the first place. When I filed an online complaint with USPS, it was received and addressed in a very rude phone call by the same clerk I registered the complaint about! That's absolutely useless! A call directly to the USPS customer service line was definitely worth the 35 minute wait when I was put in touch with a representative named Greg who made things happen. The only thing I wish I would've done was to take pictures of how trashed my mail has been on several occasions while it was still in the box. If it happens again, I definitely will, and it will be reported directly to Greg, who will be happy to file another report with the Seattle district office who oversees operations at the Valleyford Post Office. To that unbelievably unprofessional clerk; please go find a job that doesn't involve having to deal with people because you're the most horrible person I've ever encountered!

This postmaster at this location is extremely unprofessional and often presents as unfriendly. We would like a call from someone other than the post master. I want a letter in writing confirming package pickup. We were previously told if we have our packages there by 4:15 they would not go out. My employee has been getting them there are most days (a few exceptions) by 4:15. We were told if they were not in by 3:30 or 4PM, they would "sit in the corner" until the next day. We do over $50,000 with USPS per year. Our Driver Amy is fabulous. However, due to the road conditions we have been taking them in. We have been there by 4:15 and leave by 4:26 (she stated we did not bring them in consistently until 4:26). That is a false statement as we do have them there by 4:15. Again, except for the occasional exception. At this point we are looking to transfer the majority of our business to FEDEX. I asked for a letter in writing to which she said they cannot put anything in writing and that I need to get the information from the website. I want it in writing. We are upset with the lack of professionalism of the valleyford, WA office. Other than our drivers, we have found the office dept. to be exceptionally rude. The post master stated they are not rude, however what she thinks she presents versus how she acts is a matter of perception. Not only have I, but our shipping manager, have found the post office to be extremely uncooperative. I would like to speak to the Post Master of Valleyford's supervisor. She stated she was the supervisor and did not give me an additional number to contact. Again, we are very upset and may start driving our business to Spokane or looking at other shipping options. As our Amazon and business sales continue to grow, it would be great to have a local staff who is willing to work with our company. It's unfortunate in such a small community that the staff is unprofessional. Again, we asked for a letter in writing to which they stated they cannot put it in writing? Why is that? Are you afraid of documenting anything with the US Post office? This is unacceptable. Robyn, Columbia Basin Knot Company, CEO.
