Last year, submitted a change of address (temporary) online. A month later, with no mail, my neighbor told me my (locking) mailbox was stuffed. Was in town about a week later, went to this PO, said "WTF?" and was told that the on-line mail forwarding requests "never work, file it in person". So I did, and mail was forwarded. This year, went in and filed in person - a few days later, get a letter from USPS (at the new address) that says they couldn't accept my mail forwarding (I had HANDED IT to the counter guy, he reviewed it and told me I was good to go). And that I had to submit an online request. Which I immediately did; here we are two weeks later and STILL no mail forwarding. This Post Office stinks!

This post office is in a state of disarray beyond anything I could have ever imagined. Totally lacking in sufficient staff, morale at the bottom of the barrel, no direction from management, no attempt to correct the total lack of customer service. This morning, December 12, 2023, at 8:05 AM when the counter opened, the people were stacked up like cord word. They had one counter worker and it was obvious she was distressed. This poor woman has no help. She pulled warehouse people out of the back to help with those simply picking up packages. Several were there for passports. No passport person, called in sick, and no backup. This is ridiculous. Help!

My pkg. has been in the Redmond Post Office since July 13 th. I live in Kirkland. It has not made it to Kirkland in all this time. Needless to say, this is a very poorly run Post Office.

I sent an envelope with 1-Day Priority EXPRESS Mail on June 13th and took it to the Redmond Post Office before 3pm and was given the delivery date of June 14th by 6pm. However it did not get delivered before today, June 17th. I would like my money back under the cash back guarantee as I gave my customer this same guarantee trusting the Post Office and now I have to pay my customer. So I went to the Post Office to request it. They said since I purchased the label from the Etsy website they couldn't give me my money back and that I would have to go to usps.com and under the Help tab choose "request a refund". The problem is when I go there I get a "This page isn’t working right now" message, over and over and over. So I called the Post Office and the automated service is guiding me to the website too which doesn't work. This is very unfortunate and disappointing. I need to payback the customer this amount and I don't think it should come out of my own pocket since it is the USPS who couldn't deliver on time. Please call [number removed] to resolve this so I can keep respecting and trusting the USPS and continue to do business with it. Thanks.

The stated hours of operation for the Redmond post office are 8:00am to 5:30pm, however when calling the post office in Redmond at 8:07 the phone is answered with the message the post office is closed and one is directed to the USPS website. I have tried calling repeatedly with no luck and it is now 8:10am

I am missing some mail. How do I find out if it was taken back to the Redmond, WA post office because my box located in Sundance Park was too full to receive additional mail? My mailing address is: Jill Borup, 23869 N.E. 112th Circle #1, Redmond, WA 98053-7601. Would you either phone [number removed] or at 425-623-5805 and let me know the status of my missing mail. Thank you

I am trying to locate a parcel with the tracking # RN758565946. Tracking indicates that it is traveling from point to point, that it was marked as undeliverable in Redmond when its destination is Gold Bar, and that it arrived in Los Angeles today. I have tried four times today to phone you at your listed number and nobody ever picks up. May I please make an appointment to speak with someone at the Redmond PO and/or could you please have the parcel re-directed to me at : William Conner 138 2nd St Gold Bar, WA 98251. My phone is 425-445-5878 and I would appreciate a call back.

I love this particular Post Office! Frequently can be a wait but if you bother to listen to what’s happening at the counters, you will hear good natured employees taking their time to help customers through the various ways to best get your mail or packages to where you want them in the best fashion that suits you the customer. Plus a couple of them have hilarious personalities! come in with a smile rather than judgement of why you may have been in line longer than the 2 minutes you may have allotted them and enjoy. I’ve been here many times over the years and my feeling has never changed. Thank you Postal employees at Redmond WA!!

Trying to reach them though phone is a total waste of time. The greeting message takes about 30 seconds. You need to stay on the line to be transferred to an operator. It only rang 6 times before the recording said the voice mail box of the person you're trying to reach it full, please try again later, then hung up on me. You spend more time hearing to the recordings than waiting for an actual person to pick up the phone, and that is for every single attempt. I tried a few times and gave up.

Same drill today 6/25/2022. Why make customers wait just to be told, in essence, "we can't help you"?

Don’t believe all the bad things you read online. Just called them, rang 5 times, and spoke to someone very helpful at the office. Glad I didn’t trust all the BS posted here.

This place is awful, we have so many problems with just receiving our mail. I have prescriptions that come in the mail, monthly, it’s marked urgent. And for some reason or another the mail office is always late, we have to track down our package and pick it up from them because they are unable to put it in the mail boxes on time, it’s always days late. When we go to pick it up, we have to wait for the mail truck to return to the post office just to get it. I assume it’s because the postman have had a long day and they don’t want to finish filling out the mailboxes in the apartment. I am so sick of this, but I don’t know what to do in this situation.

I put cash in an envelope for someone but it never arrived. Assuming some postal worker took the money and never delivered the envelope. Apparently you can't trust this post office.

My mail was forwarded or returned without my consent. There was important mail that did not arrive. Does the post office have the right to do this? What should I do?

They don’t answer the phone! Really annoying. It seems that if you don’t have a problem that fits neatly into one their internet categories you are out of luck. No wonder Fedex and UPS are doing so well.

WOW! The total lack of respect and lack of customer service is incredible! I just talked with Gerardo! AFTER WAITING 55 minutes on hold about NO MAIL delivered to our whole condominium complex in Redmond, off 40th Place, on a Monday, not a holiday and not weather related as it was sunny and 67! He said he could not do anything about that even though I had "informed delivery" service showing I was to receive mail that day. I asked for a manager and he hung up on me!! PATHETIC! HE SHOULD BE FIRED!

Nobody answer the phone. I hope someone check the phone and ensure proper trainings have been provided. Couple years back, they gave our package to the theft. Yes, someone took our mail along with the slip and went to pick up the package. When we checked they said they lost track of where the package was but didn't gave it to anyone. The postmaster from original postal office helped us checked and found someone with completely different name and address picked it up and even him not understand how that could happen. We filed a report but nothing happen. Also, a month ago, our package was sent to the wrong address! The person who received the package has the same first and last name but have completely different address, how could that be? Fortunately, he called the phone number on the package to let us know he got our package.

I lost a expensive hearing aid in San Francisco, It was found and sent to me in a padded envelope a month ago. I've confirmed the address she sent it to and seems to be correct. My question is, could it have come out in your automated equipment and just laying around some where. My address is 24156 NE 131 Terrace, Redmond WA. 98053

The Redmond post office is the absolute worst. Since moving to Redmond I have had problems with packages. I finally filed a complaint. My carrier s...... And you can't even call to resolve any issues because they NEVER answer the phones. Because of this I try NOT to use USPS anymore than necessary!!!

No one answers this phone. One time, I got through and someone asked me "you're looking for the post office right? Call 425-869-3690." Stupid me said ok, and then as I hung up, I realized that was the number I just called! Can't get through again...

I appreciate being busy however, if a phone number is listed for contact there should be someone monitoring it and answering it. I have attempted to call, after coming into the office for several days. I have a package I am trying to retrieve to no avail and I am very frustrated by the process or lack of one.

It's not wonder the workers of the USPS get such a bad rap at times....cake job, lazy, unattentive and caring, downright rude in the trucks, etc.. Just called the Redmond Post Office to report my lock is not receiving any of the keys I have, as though the lock mech was changed, and phone rang until automatically disconnected...after 3-5 mins of ringing...no one picks up as many have said below. It's bs.

Today, Dec 23, I received 4 packages at my door. It turned out one was for me, 2 were for a lady across the street and down a house, one was for a house on the next street. When I took my neighbors packages to her it turned out that she had just received a package of mine. What is going on! I realize it's Christmas and things are crazy, but 5 packages delivered to wrong addresses!

Tried multiple times to call the number listed for the Redmond, WA postal office. It would ring and ring then disconnect me or would get a busy signal. You need to fix the phone line or make sure staff is picking up the phone. Very frustrating.
