This was the first time I was using USPS and was not knowledgeable of the services that were offered to send a package to Chile. I received excellent advice on options to meet my stated requirements in a very pleasant manner. A+ service!

I have been coming to this USPS Point Roberts for years and years. I don't know what I would do without them. They are great to deal with and I don't think I have ever had a questionable experience that wasn't my fault. Like picking up my parcel after two weeks. They don't have the room and have to send it back. They do the best they can with limited amount of space and short hours. They are the best on the Point . Second would be TSB. They are pretty good too.

Can you tell me how you got this postal service? Thank you. What would I need to do?

I take it all back. It is all different now. USPS is not at fault here but the postmaster in this location goes out of her way to make you feel miserable. Not like other postmasters of the past. Rude and not helpful at all. I have 2 packages that are gone that cost me more than the mailbox fees. Look elsewhere everyone. There are multiple locations in this adorable water front town that have wonderful delivery services. Umpqua bank is lierally amazing and so is the grocery store there. Well worth trip but miss USPS Piont Roberts

Two fantastic experiences at this post office in the past week. Staff are friendly, helpful, and patient with questions even given the Christmas rush.

I`m a Canadian and I had a very unpleasant day at the USPS in Point Robert WA. I paid a fee a month to become a member and receive mail and parcels. I shipped 3 items (Christmas Gifts for my children) on different days. After they arrived, I went to pick them up and the postal worker at the time told me that they returned them. When I asked why, she replied you didn`t put your mail box No. next to your name. (Thus was my first time sending anything to USPS) Now I have to explain my kid why their gifts didn`t arrive. So I asked the employee, how long would it taken you to punch in my name and find my mail box No..?. She replied, do you know how much mail we go thru.? How about giving me a warning or heads up so I don`t make the same mistake considering it's my first time. So I guess my name and the membership fee means nothing. I was doing fine sending my mail to the next door and never had any problems picking up. The only reason I signed up with USPS is so I don`t have to pay $4.00 for every parcel pick up from the US. I believe the workers there are understaffed and unprofessional. They don`t care about anyone. They just want to clock in their hours and go home. I don`t recommend anyone to sign up at that particular office for any service. You will only understand my frustration when it happens to you and trust me it will sooner or later.

They do the best that they can even when they are short staffed. Blame the government, Not the staff

i can't believe the negative reviews here. yes, it's under-staffed and they have limited resources because it's a tiny outlet designed to serve a tiny population, not a metropolis like the lower mainland. the people that work there tho are top notch and i thank dog i don't have to go to a canadian post office instead.

I've been reading over the comments about the Point Roberts P.O. Many have expressed disappointment linked with mail not located and long waits. To keep this in perspective, it's important to note that this small post office basically serves all of Delta and even Vancouver, Canada residents. I agree that there should be far greater resources made available to this location, but to blame those who work there seems unfair. If you have encountered abrupt responses when calling, it once again is related to the huge volume of demand for this small post office. I think the problem lies with those who make decisions about staffing and providing adequate resources, and complaints should therefore be directed upstairs.

I agree with the negative comments here. I live in Vancouver Canada, a round trip of about two hours or longer depending on traffic. On two occasions my card has been put in the wrong box, only to have
someone else pick up my parcel. Just had two trips down in the past week only to be told my parcel
has been picked up by someone else. That s over $100 US of goods lost. The staff in the post office
seem not to care. My advice to anyone is find somewhere else to pick up your parcels.

Best little Post Office ... EVER !!!
I've used this Post Office 5 or 6 times this year & a few times in past years. It's a 'hike' from the west end of Vancouver but not a bad drive to fill some time. I find the service to be very friendly, helpful & efficient.
The varied selection of service levels/delivery times offered far outstrips Canada Post's much more limited offerings ... & at far better prices [even with the exchange rate]. It beats the 'heck' out of any Postal Outlet I've ever been to in Canada. If it weren't for the $10 'import fee' that Customs always wants, I'd go there much more often.

The lady I spoke to on the phone was unbelievable. I asked a simple question and I was rewarded with her being extremely rude, condescending, and not actually answering my question. If I never have to deal with this post office again it would be too soon.

I just got back from there. Two middle age gentlemen behind the counter. Service was pretty good. I live in Canada and have only been there 4 times, but fairly good each time. Guess I was lucky.

I dread going to the post office because of the poor, make that non-existant customer service. I feel the employees go out of their way to be a miserable and condescending as possible. I wonder if just for a moment how those same employees would feel if they went into another business as a customer and were treated the same way they treat their customers. Please, if you hate your job that much then do us both a favour and quit.

This place has zero customer service. I cannot believe how rude whomever I spoke to on the phone was. I don't know all the ins-and-outs of postal services and it would have been really nice if the person could take interest in my challenge and maybe we could have overcome it together. Instead, I have learned nothing of use from our "conversation" and I feel more frustrated and hopeless than I was prior.

I am an American that lives in Point Roberts. I despise going to the post office due to line ups and bad service. I get a card in my mailbox that I have a parcel to pick up, I wait in line at post office for 1/2 hour for them to tell me they can't find it and it must have been delivered to my house.......which it never is, therefore, I have to go back a few days later and it's there. I'm not sure why they have two spots at the counter for service because there is only ever one employee to help. The closer it gets to Christmas it gets even worse, the line up is out the door. I tell my family not to send Christmas gifts due to the fact I would have to go to the post office. The employees are rude and don't care how long you wait. All the locals that live here hate going there, too.
