Amazing service by the woman with long brown hair and wearing a red “keep calm” shirt on 12.11.2023. She took the time to answer my and another woman’s questions and offered to take a package after the door was closed because the drop box wasn’t working. That simple act of kindness made my night. Thank you so much!

Our mail carrier has not been delivering our mail. We have two large dogs who we keep in the back. A few times he didn’t deliver mail because the dogs were out front . Understandable! But when they are in the back, I see no reason why he can’t deliver mail. He will not deliver mail unless I’m out on the front porch. A couple times I seen him pass and went outside and asked him if there was any mail for us. To which he handed me the mail. Why could he not put it in our mail box? I read online if you aren’t receiving mail, it should be at the post office. I have gotten no letters, emails, or phone calls stating such things. Not even a verbal notice. A month or so ago, I got a large pile of mail in one day. With letters from the utility companies, letters from court. Important notices. We are now months behind in utilities. And I missed a court hearing I didn’t even know I had. All because of this mail carrier I’ve filed complaints. To no avail. Only one time someone called me to get information. And the mail has gotten even more scarce since. I hope someone sees this that can actually do something.

Found out after 5 complaints about stolen packages, I am not allowed to move my mailbox because the mailman's route wont allow it, you mean the same mailman who makes a turn right in front of my driveway EVERYDAY? I also found out they have hads non postmaster since October and the investigation to my missing packages went NOWHERE! This is the number for the USPS Consumer Affairs: (971) 201-3700 MAKE YOURSELF HEARD! Missing and stolen mail is NOT acceptable and should not be apathetically tolerated!

This piece of sh*t mailman is about to catch these f*cking hands. Never leaves my mail in the box and even when I STAND AT MY BOX THE F*CKER DRIVES AWAY. Hes a real piece of work and obviously shouldn't be a mailman. He is the literal Male version of a Karen, no one f*cking likes them.

LV USPS has lost a package I mailed out between my porch and the post office. They have confirmed package pickups that they did not pickup and when I called they just said he could "swing by" today...why was I sent a confirmation of pickup? Are you going to talk to the employee who varifies a pickup that never happened? I do not trust them.

I just wanted to say that my MAILMAN/MAILLADY is absolutely fabulous.. I'm sorta bummed that I can't run out, if I'm home to say thank you and personal grab my mail. I've left veggies grown in the garden for my carrier in the mailbox, and always get a thank you from him and the misses. I've been to the post office many times and have had the most wonderful, helpful, kind Postal Ladies help me. I'm sorry I'm horrible with names but there are just a few that work in the downtown Longview branch. ? The younger Gal is always been very kind and knowledgeable. She lets me choose out stamps even if I'm only buying a few. She also informed me of the additional 1 OZ stamp you can purchase instead of putting another forever stamp on a heavier letter, infact she said you can put a additional 2 1oz stamps to your letter with a regular stamp on it. So the total weight can be 3 oz. So 55+ 15+ 15 subtotal 85 cents for 3 oz of mail . I seen on the website something about duck stamps, so I called and asked a few questions ( SHE was very helpful and friendly, answering all my questions) @ the end I said that I had one more question please... What's a DUCK-STAMP? So for any1 who wants to get the answer right, if they ask it in Jeopardy.. A Duck Stamp is a duck hunting license that is sold at the United States Post Office.. SO THANK YOU FOR RISKING YOUR LIFE EVERYDAY BY TOUCHING A STRANGERS MAIL NOT KNOWING WHAT COULD BE IN IT OR ON IT. Everyone and Everything has opportunities to have a glitch or boo boo. It's learning from our mistakes that we can then pass on what we have learned, so they can pass it on and, on and on..... SMILES:) ,CHEERS & B SAFE.. THANX BUNCHES ? DANIE D

I was expecting a package from UPS to be delivered on December 24th as it is a Christmas present. UPS transferred the package to the Post office. I went into the post office to pick it up and the employee was extremely rude and would not give me the package. Apparently now it won’t be processed until December 26th after Christmas. How hard can it be for someone to go in the back and grab the package and process so that I can pick it up. If the employees can’t do their job than I’d be more than happy to go back there and get it myself so that my child has their present to open on Christmas and not the day after. This is absolutely rediculous. It’s christmas and you would think the post office would make it priority to process all package that look like they may be gifts.

I received a package I had been expecting the USPS to deliver. When it got here the small box was crushed and wrapped with a plastic wrap that had a note from the postal service. This is what it said. "Dear Postal Customers: We sincerely regret the damage to your mail during handling by the Postal Service. We hope this incident did not inconvenience you. We realize that your mail is important to you and that you have every right to expect it to be delivered in good condition. Although every effort is made to prevent damage to the mail, occasionally this will occur because of the great volume handled and the rapid processing methods which must be employed to assure the most expeditious distribution possible. We hope you understand. We assure you that we are constantly striving to improve our processing methods in order that even a rare occurrence may be eliminated. Please accept our apologies. Sincerely Your Postmaster." The box was empty when I received it. $199.00 worth of empty.

I’m so disappointed, as I leave this comment, in a particular postal employee who didn’t care about you or me and therefore chose to do a crappy job. I was dropping a piece of mail about 5pm on Thursday, 5/16/19 at mail boxes on Broadway. The “neck” of the first box was crammed full and overflowing. I noticed that the last mail pickup time had already passed so I was really baffled that the box could be full. I dropped my mail in the 3rd box and could tell the envelope dropped all the way to the bottom of the box. I assumed the first box must be jammed so I drove to the post office and it was just past 5pm. I knocked on the pickup window twice but no one came to the door. As I was leaving the post office I saw a postal lady locking a postal truck so I walked to her. I explained and described the mail box situation on Broadway and she replied “oh that explains why there has been no mail in that box for two days, I can’t see up into that area of the box so I couldn’t see it was jammed”. I told her I came to tell someone because I feared the mail would be stolen out of the box since it was clearly visible. She acted like she understood my concern and I assumed she would correct the problem and I went to work. After work, at 12:45am, I had another piece of mail to drop. I drove to the Broadway St boxes and found the mail still sticking out of the first box. I cannot believe this postal woman did nothing to keep that mail safe. Shouldn’t she have some duty to protect the mail when she is notified about an issue like this and doesn’t common sense tell someone that if there is no mail in a box for two days (and that is not the norm) then maybe they should check the front to make sure it’s not jammed? I’m very disappointed and saddened that this woman performs her job so poorly and that she is in a position of handling important pieces of mail.

Still waiting for my bill from the City of Longview which was sent out 3 weeks ago. Still waiting for my bill from Century Link from last month. Do you see a pattern here? Getting worse by the day. Mail getting sent out never gets to the person. What is happening to Longview P.O.? Not having mail delivered for days and then all in one day I get 15 pieces at one time. Something has to be done now!!!!

Poor Rate:. 8/24/18 I went into mail business items. I had pre-stamped several envelopes and asked PO employee to please run paper stamps on the 5 envelopes. To which PO employee picked them all up and waved in his right hand and remarked - ALL of these? Time consuming to do so. As he stated. Then he went on to say that doing so is just like mailing an empty envelope. I said quietly - I thought it was what the customer wanted? I said nothing more to him. As I file printed receipt with vender files - ( shouldn't have to justify ) I was taken back by his words. As I had worked hard to compile what I had to mail and found that prior to my turn - he found that chatting to prior customer about a home he bought and one that was sold etc Customer he was helping said oh maybe we will be neighbors. This was after they were done with business. He found that was o.k. & at that moment I thought it was good to hear happy people. However when he spoke to me - what I had wanted was considered time consuming. I felt violated. This person has helped me several times and always kind. As I am. Today I pressed machine with a frown by the exit door. ( last week I went in & different employee tried to run an address tape for package I was mailing and swore that the PO buys cheapest crap and doesn't work - he had to run tape a few times. ) I don't know what is going on....however I am dumb founded as to why your employee's feel entitled to such actions? I am thankful so thankful for PO and never share negative actions. How about an in-service reminder on how to treat the public or some type of thanks for working so hard folks. # on my receipt is 5446760356 Sure did make me wonder if all mail is considered empty envelopes. Thank you

4:30pm December 11th. It line to mail a package. 1 person working the counter. Line is out the door. This time of the year and only one person working? I'm not one to complain but that's ridiculous. I've been in line for over half an hour and still have 5 people in front of me. This is poor planning.

I've had the same PO box for 25 plus years now. The price went from starting for a full year $40 now it's $90 for the full year prices increase service has not., I have been locked out of my post office box for over a week now I've made my annual payment I was 2 days late they cashed it and locked me out of my post office my customer sent their payments there as I live far away from town and I don't want their payments and identification to be stolen so I rent a box every year you've locked me out I'm very upset it's PO Box 375 Longview Washington I have tried to call your number for 2 hours and I cannot get through I believe you probably have your phone off the hook. Since I live out of town and I only come to town one to two times a week it would really be nice if I could get into my post office you're costing me money because I am not able to make my payments because I don't have my customers checks so I really think you owe me an explanation please reply. I never thought I would be upset with a mail man/lady but ours really tests my patients. I've had a paper taped to my mail box with the house hold last names since the day I moved in, yet somehow I am still being delivered someone else's personal mail, which then takes days for them to take back. One day, they decided that my gate door was too tricky to open (you have to use both hands, or it gets stuck) that my mail was just tossed in the yard for the wind to move around, the cats to play with, and the dogs to chew on.

I moved to Longview, WA a week ago. The mail man wrote on my second letter "Get a box up." It is seemingly passive aggressive. It also was poorly written because I had to look at the scribbles to decipher the code. It's just unprofessional. Who writes on people's mail? Weird.

I have had 2 items clipped to my mail box for 2 days. It's crazy how can you deliver mail to the box and not retrieve the mail hanging on the box! I am extremely disappointed with the service I am getting from the US Postal service. The sad part is I also Pay their earnings through all the taxes the citizens pay. Please improve my service. I appreciate any help you may be able to give me. Janice Sopher 271 28th Ave, Longview WA PS: I will place the mailing in the blue boxes on the circle tomorrow.

I don't think my carrier has his heart in it anymore. I only get mail about every other day, which has never been the case with me; he's surly and has a permanent frown, he doesn't deliver until late afternoon/evening, and he apparantly got mad that I had a shelf on the porch, waiting for someone to come pick it up, and though it wasn't blocking my mail slot he threw my mail onto the ground

The gentleman that helped me was very rude. I asked to ship a package and he shrugged his shoulders and said "ok" in a negative tone. I told him I had done it before with help from the lady that also works there. He told me that I was lying and that they don't do that, Instead of telling me or helping me to figure out the situation. I was made to feel like I was a giant burden for not knowing what to do. This was the worst customer service I have ever had. Will never use USPS again. Most uncomfortable feeling ever.

I usually receive my mail but since my son has moved out so did my mail. Yes the mailman is slow and has a poor attitude. It seems like he is giving away my mail to other residents. Just recently my husband bought me some necklaces that never did get delivered and this really upsets me and I do have identity protection and however is getting my things had better return them or I will file a claim due to fraud
