So, closed on the weekend which makes things extremely difficult for your working class guy. They lie about attempting delivery and pass it off like its a system issue. The postal worker even smirked when I said I had to take time off to pick up my package. I have to take time off work and lose OT opportunities because its the only way I can get my packages from Amazon because the La Center Post Office won't deliver them. They should take the wages lost from people who have to take unpaid time off to get their packages from the post office budget and give it back to the working class Joe.

this post office commits fraud they will scan your package as undeliverable and expect you to come get it they make up every excuse under the sun and then when you go down and pick it up they scan it as delivered so they make their quota when you tell them they you know they did not attempt to deliver it they admit it they say the package never left the office then they'll scan it at five seventeen p m knowing that the lobby closed at five so it's impossible to get your item there defrauding amazon and the customers it needs to stop

Do not plan on receiving about half your packages or letter mail if you live in La Center. This post office consistently loses both. The problem is exacerbated by the fact that Amazon has switched to USPS over UPS lately, and the La Center PO simply cannot handle the increased volume. Now I can count on having 2/3 of my packages and all my important documents lost (not the junk mail - that gets through ok). The issue seems to be the delivery person not bothering to check addresses and putting mail in the wrong box. Repeated complaints to the PO have not helped. They just don't give a hoot. .

I have lived in small towns across the country and this is probably the worst post office I have ever seen. Not sure if they are illiterate or just plain lazy. I have had important documents get lost several times. At least one was traced to the La Center PO, only to disappear. Other times I have had no mail delivery at all for a couple of weeks, then suddenly I get two weeks' worth of mail including bills now overdue. I have told them at least 5 times that they delivered my mail to the wrong address, but it still happens. This PO is a mess. Not to mention that the grounds outside are a huge unkempt pile of brambles and weeds. No doubt this reflects the chaos inside. They need to clean up their act!

I have had several packages delivered to the La Center Post office, only to find I never recieved them. When Calling the post office, they say its a known problem, We are having trouble putting the Locker key in the right po boxes. I said you know if this happened once or twice in a blue moon .. I get it, but its happened to me twice in a week. knowing this also happens to many others daily, I told them if I made this many mistakes at my job, I would get fired. She laughed and said well, all we can do is try. Good thing we have some honest people in La Center, I was able to track down my packages using Facebook. Please get them some help. Its frustrating when its just a error on them. that happens over and over again. Just put the Locker key in the correct PO BOX. Know your Numbers!

I've kept a p.o. box at La Center for many years now and am grateful for the friendly help they consistently give me. I can't imagine how many grumpy people they must deal with every day but I've seen enough of them passing through that I am especially thankful for their courtesy towards me after dealing with all that.

When I click on my USPS tracking number it stated my package would be delivered by a certain date. Then when I look up my tracking number at the end of the day to see where my package is at, it states "an attempt to deliver the package was made." This is incorrect. I have waited at home all day, and no "attempts" were made. Do post office employees get paid to sit around with their thumb up their ass and lie about working?

We have a PO Box with several packages delivered weekly with all packages from Amazon being labeled with our physical address and PO Box. However our local post office here in La Center seems to ignore that fact that they know who the package belongs too. I have spoken with the post master several times trying to resolve our packages being returned. The post master could care less how she treats people and she is very rude to the customers. She also has a habit of going out of her way to not want to work out these concerns.
Sham on you USPS for allowing your customers to be treated this way....
