For some reason a car has been parked in front of mailboxes, not allowing mail truck to simply pull up and place mail in two boxes. Understandably, I anticipated the driver having a concern. Absolutely. Thank goodness, this is NOT the usual. Clearly, it was a visiting car(?). I made my way down the stairs just in time as the Mailperson, was continuing to drive off, without stepping in front (or in back) of the vehicle placing the mail in the box. A tried effort would have been quick enough. I was outside to place a note on the car myself. The mail person was just going to drive off. I did dress that with him. I also suggested he honk his horn, that was for me to get their attention from one of the 4 homes. I needed them to see me placing note on car. But I'm assume he was busy, so he went on his way. So, anyway... what about tomorrow?!!!!!!!!! Good news! I was made aware that I can ask that the mail be brought to the door since I am disabled. I appreciate him letting me know this information. If it weren't for a medical errand today, I never would have known the mailboxes were blocked. I just would not have received my mail... which would have added another layer of stress to the Winter circumstances. . Thank you Post People for venturing out in the snow, servicing our area as much as you did during those days last week.

Out of the blue...Within a days difference and a change in Postperson, our mailbox was severally damaged. Bent inward as if pushing a large amount of mail inside(?). The next day after speaking to temporary driver about the newly bent box, he wasn't sure how it happened. However, the Main driver, of 1.5 years that I had been here, never had a problem. Strange. The mailbox has never been pulled back into proper place, I do not have that strength. There hasn't been a problem since then, as the mailpersons... are now on camera. Which was mentioned to the temporary driver at that time.

This is the worst service ever. I have not received my mail since Christmas Eve (today is Jan 3), because the mailman didn't want to drive in the snow that the city piled up in front of my mail box. The phone robot should be removed and someone needs to listen to these calls. I have checks and bills in that mail that nobody is willing to talk about apparently since they want to blame everything on covid instead of incompetence.

You got to be kidding!!! Out in the open at night while raining. I have a covered porch. This is why the USPS sucks!!! No consideration for the customer AT ALL. The boxes are maybe 30lb. I am a delivery driver also and I absolutely hate when I see drivers this LAZY!!! Someone please get back to me so I can email a photo!!!

My mail keeps coming later and later..... used to come around 4pm.... which is SUPER late anyway... now it doesn't come until after 6pm sometimes not until 9pm and the apt office closes at 6pm delaying my parcel delivery! This is ridiculous!

Please be advised that the vehicle that’s delivering mail to the group boxes at SE 279th Street @ 98030-8762 is leaking oil terribly. Those boxes are located next to a sensitive/wetland area and the runoff from the street goes directly into the area. Please tune-up your vehicles or go electric! I’ll be reporting this to the City as well.

The Kent, Washington post offices are the slowest to getting our mail to AK, I don't know why they can't just go through Seattle instead. Kent Post offices are slow, lose our mail and sometimes takes weeks to get our mail. I HATE Kent, WA post offices!!

I too have a package lost in Kent, WA. Tracking history reads like all others have missing/lost packages. Last update 7 days ago: 8/4 11:25pm Departed USPS Origin Facility Kent, WA 8/8 In transit, Arriving Late Your package will arrive later than expected, but it still on its way. It is currently in transit to the next facility. WOW! Today is 8/11 NO NEW Updates? I filed a case yesterday. This sucks! This isn't the 1st time USPS has lost an item or two.

Hi I'm Pat. That rule you highlighted on the poster 7 means people can film in a post office. If you understood that rule read it again very closely. In school I was in special classes. Some other guy do the same thing as filming in pubic places show me the poster 7 I learned it right away. If you don't want to be filmed work in a PRIVATE PLACE. Like in stores or restaurants.

The mail carrier left our mail station, which serves seven (7) homes, unlocked. I had a package stolen!!! People post medicine. All I had to do was pull it open. I had mail in there Sunday. So this has occurred a couple of days in a row!!! I know I lost a package as someone found the envelope and one of my packages empty.

My medicine from the VA was last scanned in Kent , WA. That was on the 18th of Feburary. The tracking system says it is "in transit" . The postal superviser in Alamogordo, NM where it is suposed to be now says that the "new system" puts all packages into big bins and they have no idea where these bins are. It has been 12 days since it was last seen in Kent, WA. Our ex-divine leader put in charge of the USPS a man whose sole purpose was to slow the mail way down during the election in order to keep the mail in ballots from getting to the states they were counted by in hopes they would exceed the time limits for them to be valid. I think it is time to privatize the post offices or get rid of that man now!

Recommend not sending priority mail out of this post office. For the second time this year, a package that I paid priority rate for was delivered over a week after mailing. A first-class stamp would work for that level of service, and costs much less.

Freight is showing arriving at the Kent station, tried picking it up and was advised that package has returned. Nobody can tell us where it is. Nobody answers there phone. Post Office Lady was rude and not helpful at all, we never received a pick up slip and had to track it down from the senders side. Just very unprofessional service.

I had a postal box in West Seattle for years. Great Service shakey area near White center but the lobby was always open!! why not in kent. also who hires these poeple worst customer service ever, esp the one older gentleman who treats everyone very abruptly.

The mail person for this location is RUDE, lazy and unwilling to work with the YMCA. At all our branches we don't have mail boxes and the mail person delivers. Came in today, threw the mail on the counter, yelled at staff and told them he wouldn't be delivering our mail anymore. We have 14 branches in King County and all the mail is brought in and none of the branches have mail boxes so why are we different? Terrible customer service!

I am writing this review because after the horrible treatment I just experienced it needs to be exposed! Not only did the mail man leave there postal mail box carrier filled with vital office and resident packages but when I called to address it the assistant manager who refused to give me his name literally called me a liar and told me to prove it was the mail carrier who did this. I couldn't believe he was talking to me this way! I told him I had camera footage and he literally told me I had to email it to him and refused to believe me! He then hung up on my face, when I called back I got hung up on several times there after. I have went to the postal complaint website to issue a major complaint about this. Whats sad is our tax dollars pay for this and this is the garbage we have to deal with! Kent Post Office has zero customer service and does not care about helping anyone. They will leave your mail in front of your office when your are not there which they can get fired for and against the law for them to do!!! I hope everyone reads this and it spreads far enough to get someones attention!!! I will make sure the person who said they where the assistant manager gets a good foot right where its deserved!!!

Excellent service. Went in to obtain PO Box at new city/state before moving and the employee was extremely helpful and efficient. She worked with her supervisor and had a new P.O Box from the state I am moving to within the hour.

Renting a place with 3 duplexes. CONSTANTLY FINDING/HAVING: Mail not MINE, placed in my mailbox Mail "dropped" on ground, left there, rain soaked Mail to be PICKED UP, flag is up, left there NOT acceptable!!!!!

Well my mail boxes was stolen and it’s a pain in the tail to keep going to this post office. I get emails of scanned mail and when I go to pick up they tell me it’s not there. I get advised to call ahead and guess what? I was then told to come in everyday to check. Smh I can’t wait until they get these boxes replaced.

I have been talking to other folks about this post office, Kent East Hill on 240th. They all say the same thing and that is the service sucks at this location. There’s one male clerk in particular that’s very bitter, rude talks to people like they have tails. Whenever I’m in line and if he helps me I wait for someone else to help me because I don’t want any confrontation with him if he’s going to be rude.

I've been doing business with USPS to support the people who work there. I do believe there are so nice and respectful usps around the country, but this branch is a disaster. The management is poor and aweful! The counter people yell instead of talking to you. I had two parcel that got returned. I went to pick them up. When I ask the so called manger what to do to resend my parcels or get refund, he just threw a phone number at me and said he does know and can't help. I took my parcels to the branch in SeaTac and I can't say how professional, helpful and nice those people are. Never again at Kent branch and I would definitely report them and ask for improvement. We are the taxpayer and we all deserve better.

Horrible horrible!!! I have been calling this place over and over again. First time I called the number and somehow got the employee line. When the guy answered he bit my head off telling me that I was not suppose to call this line and to call the main line, which was the number that I called in the first place. I live over in the Yakima Valley, like I really would have known what the employee line number was. After I hung up I tried the exact same number about 10 times...... out of those 10 nobody answered the phone and somehow I was directed to a fax machine. This place is a joke, and all I want to know is where my mail is being sent because it is not coming to my house that I have over there!

This is the third time I am having issue w/in a couple months. The first two times was mail that delivered to a wrong address. This time, I dropped off a package to be sent and it's been two weeks and the package can't be found. I dropped it off w/ a clerk working at the counter. I am not sure what she did with my package. this place is garbage. It is a piece of shit of a facility and some agent needs to check this place out and take it down. They are the most worthless overpayed people I've come across. Somebody needs to fire every individual and restart fresh and build a new programme here. I'm sick of how useless this place is. Why can they not follow suit and be good like the other US post offices in the surrounding area? I called 5 times in the last 20 minutes and it never seems to get picked up and I've tried yesterday and still yields the same damn results.

So many packages that I shipped get stuck in this facility for a long time. Also I don't know the problem is this place, but sometimes I get a letter someone send to me A MONTH AGO. We pay for shipping, and the workers get paid, so I would like the service to be at least ok. I'm sorry to write this, but I start not to be able to trust the USPS. I have a small business, and it seems like the USPS causes the problems with the packages. :( I really hope you guys can fix these problems. Thank you.
