This branch is totally incompetent. They need new staff from top to bottom. I've been trying to establish mail delivery to my new address for over 6 months with no success and no end in sight. Beyond horrible.

Very nice facility. Having a hard time finding a current address from an old one. Looking for Rt 4 Box 145 in ellensburg. What is the current updated address? I think its Mail Route 4, Box 145. Any ideas would be appreciated.

We have stopped receiving packages in our mailbox. The tracking information indicates that packages are being delivered to our mailbox, but the postal carrier is either not delivering them, delivering them to the wrong address, or placing the key for the package box in the wrong mailbox. We're now missing a total of 6 packages, totaling 10 purchases, that show in the tracking system that they were delivered to our mailbox! And of course, this is all happening right before the holidays, so these are all Christmas gifts. By the time I go through the process of replacing the items, Christmas will have come and gone. I've tried calling the post office, but nobody answers the phone. This is maddening! I've had plenty of issues with Amazon and even UPS, but I never expected to have this sort of issue with USPS.

Mail person drop package on roadway and ran over it. It was my RX and damaged my meds. Getting neighbor mail constantly.

I'm very disappointed with this site. I've gotten other people's male and have delivered it to the correct address for them because usps failed to do so. I'm missing a package that they claimed to have delivered to my parcel box last night, but it is not there. I've made a claim but this is such a long process I shouldn't have to go through because of their negligence. I've tried calling their site and they don't answer.

I just received a box left in my driveway in ice melt runoff. No attempt to take it to covered dry porch. This was kleenex and had I not gone out in search of my delivery . . Totally would have been ruined. Just now: 1/21 1:00 pm. 5610 Naneum Rd Gray USPS marked Van I have already gone to the PO and made a request that no packages be left out on my garage apron. Please correct this service level issue.

I have been trying to reach someone several times today. No one will answer the phone. I know you are busy but it would be helpful to talk to someone. We apparently had a package delivered to Ellensburg although our address is in Sumner, WA. I need to find out where it is and how to get it to the correct address.

I have called and complained MANY times about our package delivery people. While our regular mail delivery person (Mel) is awesome, the package delivery people are either lazy or badly trained. I understand the USPS is short staffed but when I have to literally hunt for a delivered package, I get annoyed. Here are examples of where items have been left: dropped over the gate (the box was crushed and had fragile labels all over it, the end of the driveway, dropped over the side of the fence no where near the front door...The gate to our door is not difficult to find. I check the online status of delivery when my packages arrive and can't fathom how leaving a package in my driveway can be marked as 'left on/near front door' My door is NO WHERE NEAR the driveway. I am tired of the lack of concern from the people at the local office!

Our regular delivery person Ken is great, but when he is on vacation, the service sucks! I was supposed to receive a package today, but instead I got the pink slip saying "available now" at post office which means she did not even try to deliver it. It was a small package that would fit in any mail box, let alone our big box plus the two locked boxes which were both empty. This happens everytime Ken is on vacation and is unacceptable as they never try to redeliver, so 15 miles each way to the post office for me because the mail person is to damn lazy to deliver.

I paid for 1 year use of a PO box in early October before leaving for a job overseas. A friend has checked the box, and there has been no mail delivered to it. Unbelievable. Of course, I can't talk to a human on the phone, so I will attempt to use the online service. Where is my mail? Where is my hundred dollars for the PO box? Just awful.

Why do our postal workers have to use their own vehicles instead of USPS trucks? It would make their lives so much better and delivery easier.

I am thankful that you are all working as hard as possible during this difficult time while being understaffed. However, I have had 4 packages ordered in 3 weeks. Every single one has notified me that there was no secure location to deliver the package. We have a community mail box for our neighborhood. This specific one has 4 large parcel boxes to secure the packages. Also, my fiance is currently pregnant and, as such, is under doctors orders to stay home. She is home all day every day. We have received notifications on our tracking that an attempt was made at delivering the packages but there was no secure location. It also stated that a notice was left in our mailbox to pick up the package at the post office. All of that is false. Every time we have received this notification, there are parcel boxes available on the same day delivery was attempted. My fiance has had no one attempt to drop it off at our door either. We have received no failed delivery notification in our mailbox either. The only reason we know to pick up our package is because we actively check our tracking information. Our route driver is either neglectful or is making no attempt to deliver. We are currently waiting on medication that we do not have a tracking number for. It is imperative that my PREGNANT fiance receives her medication as it is for her health as well as our childs. I have asked about this multiple times in the post office and am only told that you are understaffed. While I understand this difficulty, we are being lied to, either by your post office or by the tracking system. Anytime i have gone in to pick up a package that they supposedly left a notification for, it is made to sound like it doesn't matter and is no big deal. I have not even received an apology for the miscommunication. An apology alone would have alleviated some of my anger. Today, I had to pick up another package, after receiving no notification and it was made to seem like I just have to deal with never knowing when my package will be delivered or when it is available for pick up. I was told that, if the package is smaller, it will be delivered. All of the packages that I have had to go in and pick up have been relatively small and would easily fit in a parcel box, if not our mailbox. Again, we are waiting on medication and we are not sure when that will arrive. If we do not receive so much as a slip in our mailbox notifying us of a failed delivery, it could have serious negative consequences for us. I have been incredibly polite about the situation up to this point but no one at the office seems to care one bit. Even after telling them about the medication, the employee shrugged it off. In no way is this ok. I would truly appreciate a response to this as it is imperative that we receive this package.

Start notifying the Post Master General for poor mail delivery.

First of all I would like to say i appreciate the mail service, especially during this time cause I have no doubt it's crazy busy right now and yall are overworked and underappreciated. So thank you. However I do have a seriously complaint about our mail lady in particular. I have held my tongue on this matter for many years, but enough is enough. On Wednesday I was suppose to receive a package, well I didnt, and then hours later got a message saying "Delivery Attempted-mailbox was full". The box was 40"x9", how in the heck was that suppose to even go in a mailbox?!?!?!?! And regardless the mailbox was empty....We received the slip today to go and pick the box up from the post office. I dont know what her problem is, but there is always some sort of excuse as to why she cant get a package to us. FedEx and UPS never have any issues delivering. Maybe you could give me some insight. Thanks

Absolutely horrible and unreliable service. Our wonderful mail carrier retired (or ran for her life) from Ellensburg post office. Our new carrier(s) should have driven the route with her and learned the job. Three Packages were to arrive to day one arrived at 4:38PM. Then at 5:38 I received an alert... Delivery Attempted - No Access to Delivery Location Feb 10, 2020 at 5:35 pm image of Traceable Indicia Delivery Date Unknown Why! How are you able to put one package in a football stadium sized mailbox but not the others? We have been dealing with this since the summer when this individual took over. Very frustrating. We've had certified mail not delivered because of the same reason and no slip was left in the mailbox until 1 to 2 days later. On one occasion I was standing at the side of the road with dogs waiting for what was to be delivered and they blew by so fast I naturally assumed that it was a delayed, until about an hour later when I got a text that said attempted delivery, access blocked. Was it blocked by me and the dogs? Ellensburg Post Office is the worst mail service I have ever experienced in my life. I do not recommend having your packages shipped by them if you can avoid it. Same for anything certified. I don't think the carrier understands the job. Perhaps a paper route would be more suitable.

On several occasions, twice just yesterday I received a message that USPS was unable to deliver my packages because either my box was full or the area could not be accessed, both clearly untrue. One package was delivered today but the other is still in limbo. I would certainly like an explanation. UPS deliveries are always as scheduled.

Twice in the last two days, with two different packages, I have received notices that delivery attempts were made but that there is "no access to delivery location". Since I have lived here over 40 years, and have been receiving packages the entire time, this is simply not true. What must I do to correct this problem? I really needed the package that wasn't delivered today. The notices don't come in until after USPS hours, so no contact possible.

I am really getting tired of the service from this office. We continually don't get our packages when promised, saying "the mailbox was full" or "package undeliverable. " when neither is true. If you can't deliver mail, please don't contract with Amazon and other big companies.

We are very dissatisfied with our rural mail delivery. Yesterday, Nov 12th, our Informed Delivery email showed us that we could expect seven letters. We received no mail at all. Neither did our closest neighbor. This has happened several times this year. Ours is a road that tees off at both ends. We have reason to believe that we are being skipped on busy days. This happened to some other neighbors with the same carrier on a different road. When they complained, it stopped. We think you need to check on this employee.

My friend sent me a letter last Wednesday from Zillah. 50 miles away! I still haven’t received it and it’s been a week. Usually I get her letters in a day or two at most. I can’t repair my laundry room because her letter had a check in it to help me. What’s going on there. Sure it was Christmas season a week before, but you should get some employees that want to work here.
