I have a package delivered by UPS then handed over to USPS in Cheney, WA, then it was stuck there for a week now. I wish the post office in Cheney offers a new service that they can just text us, we can opt in to pick up the packages at the post office ourselves. No delivery needed.

Cheney PO is likely the worst managed PO I've experienced. Inconsistanty in operational practices, packages marked delivered (by sender) are not availaable for 2 days later, lost confirmed deliveries, and lost IRS Tax submittals to name a few.

I live in Rosalia Wa, and for some reason I haven't been getting mail. I went and talked to the post office Hirem said he could hold down there. But what's the point to be on a route if I have to go to the post office daily. And I'm not getting all my mail. If they can't do their job why let them continue to work? Monday I went down to the post office to nail letters and pick up my sons package, and Hirem said I need to be notified by them. So my daughter n law called and I said that was my daughter n law? He said yes you get your way. Very rudely!!

On multiple occasions (so many that I've lost count) the key that opens up the package delivered compartment of our neighborhood mailbox was placed in a neighbor's mailbox. Basically, when I track my packages and it says "delivered" the key isn't in my mailbox. This is very frustrating and I always have to hope that the neighbors are nice enough to give me my packages. This is so irritating. Please please double check the address for the packages before placing the key into the mailbox. I'm now begging you to get this right...fix it!

Issue is timely delivery to my mail box. I had a package that was shipped from Petersburg Va on Dec 1. It Arrived at the Cheney Post office on Dec 3 based on an inquiry I made using your tracking system. I finally got the package on 28 Dec. Problem was the po box number was incorrect. so my package went to the cannot deliver area. There are only two of us with the same last name. Wonder what happened when the wrong post office box holder got a slip that they had a package????? this is almost in the too weird to believe category. Hey Post master how about a answer.

Why is my mail delivered so late? The woman who delivered for years always arrived around 2:00. This new guy can’t get here until 4:30 or 5:00, I don’t want to walk 1/3 of a mile after dark only to find he hasn’t delivered yet. I think he does not deliver some days at all. Unusual for all 6 mail boxes to be empty the same day, I talked to this guy twice and think he is mentally incapable to deliver mail. Address: 15208 S. Clear Lake Rd. Cheney, Wa. 99004

I'll add my voice to the list...another lost package. This has been happening for years...nothing is ever done about the bad employees at this location. Been accused of LYING by them. They still have their jobs and Cheney residents still have lost packages!!!!!!!

My Cheney mail carrier has lost 3 of my packages in the last year. One was recovered. They were not insured, so I would get no money from making a claim. Also in the last year I received 3 packages that were not mine. They didn't have my address on them but they were in my box. I returned them. This woman is probably not stealing my packages. She's just very incompetent. I filed a complaint with the Postmaster general, but there is nothing he can do about stupid people at our Cheney Post Office. You will need to insure all packages going in or out of Cheney. Why is it that they never lose my bills? They just lose merchandise. I mailed two small packages last week that were worth $500 and $1100. I sent them by Registered mail. They were $30 each for postage and were way less than a pound each. Every Postal employee that touches them will have to sign their name on them. It sucks that you have to spend $30 to make sure your package MIGHT not get stolen.

I too am frustrated with the postal service and here is why: I am still receiving mail addressed to the woman who lived here when I bought the house IN 1979!!! I'm familiar with one of the women who works the counter and went in to tell her that about the woman's mail being delivered to my address and I said that I've seen her and asked her to put in another change of address and that also I think she has a P.O Box there. But then I think I made a mistake when I said that the mail that I was getting is controversial, right wing or alt-right wing, conservative stuff that I DON'T want delivered to my house. I said all this with a smile and with familiarity but I saw her stiffen up a bit...oops! She did say she would take care of it, but I'm still getting that crap in my mailbox. I've also had days go by without any mail delivered! I've noticed that others have had this experience as well. We all know you folks are busy. But come-on! Thanks.... p.s. I just noticed at the top of page that it says "Comments below are not ready by postal employees" (!!) and to not post personal info.! So what the hell is this for? Hmmmm

For the past 2 1/2 I've been getting mail for 3 of my neighbors within a 3 block radius, which in itself is no big deal but this isn't the 2nd or 3rd time this has happened,,,I wonder whose getting my mail? Also, I've had a letter in my mailbox since Saturday, with the red flag up,,,it's Tuesday and is still there which is leading me to believe that the mail person doesn't come by my house everyday,,,,which is again not the 2nd or 3rd time this has happened. I'm a multiple decade resident of Cheney and cannot say our post office deserves rave reviews,,,the people are rude and not not interested in problem or product resolution,,,,our post office is something we put up with to live in our beautiful little city,,,

i'm so livid!!! 3rd time one of my daughters presents were scanned saying it was delivered and in the mail box but nothing was there. ive called about it three times and im convinced the mail lady is stealing our stuff. there is no way she messed up 3 times in the last 2 months, and if she did, she shoudlnt be working there in the first place. they are not aloud to leave packages at the door so i should have gotten it. the post office seriously said well it was scanned so it had to have been delivered. worst service i have ever had and now daughter doesn't get her presents. im not made of money and cant replace them. i will be sure to spread the word of this event. i was treated so rudely. they never even gave me a chance. i was immediately written off, not even with even the slightest bit of support. they should have just said they didn't believe me. thank you for ruining the surprise for my little baby
