There is terrible postal delivery for some Buckley addresses. Packages do not get where they are supposed to go, and often times are lost. The mail carrier who delivers to 260-270th avenue for years has had problems but the post office doesn't seem to want to address the issue! More often than not, mail is lost, packages are damaged or sent back and there has been no recourse
The carriers are rubbish. Either they shove my packages in my mail box that it takes my all to get it out or they throw it over my fence! Horrible horrible employees and customer service. Plus they literally never answer the phone.
Postmaster Buckley, WA,
I've called several times regarding the way the mail carrier delivers our mail in the Golden Valley Estates 55+ neighborhood.
It took 2 of us last Friday, the 3rd of April to help a neighbor who was pushing her husband in a wheelchair to get a Priority Mail package out that had been CRAMMED into their mailbox. No way could she have retrieved it herself. The sides of the box were caved in. I felt so sad that she had to deal with this.
This is unacceptable. I was told it would be dealt with. It hasn't. This couple's mailbox was several boxes down from my own, so not sure of their names or specific address.
I'm still young enough not to keep putting up with this. I've addressed this via phone calls to the Buckley post office regarding several of my mail packages being damaged. Now I see I'm not the only home being affected.
I found a small package tucked way away on the front covered area of my house. Not only did you get the wrong house you got the wrong street. Street that the package was delivered was 272nd cross street is 148th.The address on the box clearly reads 146th street, cross street 268th. In the the last year this is the 8th time that a mistake has been made from the buckley post office. Ranging from the wrong package delivered to driving over a small retaining wall twice and even backing onto my front lawn. Not sure what Is in the water there at the post office but I would recommend some serious training for a very under qualified staff. This goes beyond bad customer service.
Our whole block did not get delivered yesterday. No one knows why tried to call Buckley post office the phone only rings busy. I have important mail due yesterday
To whom it may concern,
I have not been getting all of my mail and we have checked with the companies that we get billed by have said that our mail has been sent back return to sender, not at this address. We have been here for over 15 years and now we have been having this problem since November. Please see if this can be fixed.
Thank you
I enjoy the fact that I get a free P.O box, however, the employees have been extreamly rude every time I’m in there, they put other people’s mail in MY box, and even if I RTS mail that doesn’t have my name or even my p.o # on it they still put it back in my box. They let someone who is no longer at our address and a change of address access to all mail in it and they return/ reject all my packages to my P.O. box and send it back( they are always small and less then 5lbs)
I live in Meadowbrook Mobile Home Park. I have for nearly 14 years. I work in Enumclaw and I cannot get to the Buckley post office during their open hours. In order to prove that I am still living in the city limits and qualify for a free post office box... the same one I've been using for 14 years... I was told I had to bring in a statement/bill from the city. The mobile home park pays for the utilities, so I don't have any statement. I offered my drivers license, but they refused saying some people don't update their license!!! Excuse me, but this is about as close to harassment as you can get and I am offended. My license Is current and always has been. I pay my bills on line. To bring any proof of my actual residence, I will have to drive in during my lunch break and plead for my post office box that I am totally entitled to. When I called and explained my situation, I was told they weren't "singling" us out... who? Residents of the mobile home park? It certainly feels like it. A little customer service and understanding would go a long way here.
