There are 2 woman at the Springfield post office that are very rude. The first time I called the lady was very very nice, when I called back this time I was treated awful. She laughed at me first of all because I didn't know I couldn't go to White River with an ID to pick up a piece of mail, then when I was TRYING to just explain the situation, she over talked me and then she tells me that "the carrier may have my mail" she just didn't "see" a ssi check come through. Then when I tried explaining the whole situation and how a very nice gentleman had told me to call there this morning to see if my check came through because they would hold it for me because of the house I live in. I can not see the mailman or anything if they come and the house I do live in I rent a room and there are other people that are thieves and active drug adicts and I just didn't want someone else to get it. I also was told to call this morning I am 55 years old with major medical issues and I sure didn't deserve to be treated that way. If you can't handle working with the public then you shouldn't answer a phone. You never know what kind of day the person you are talking to has had, maybe showing compassion and just over all respect will get you a lot further. I was NEVER rude or anything to this woman.
