Indeed. My packages that are delivered to Moretown from Amazon sit for days. I currently have one that arrived at Moretown post office 5 days ago and now they want me to come pick it up. We usually get mail delivered twice a week. Not okay. The delivery people are not to blame. And, no, they NEVER answer the phone.

The situation at the Moretown PO is horrendous. There’s no clerk and no delivery person. We’re lucky to get mail delivered once a week. You can’t go down and pick up packages because there’s no one there that can sort them. I’ve had packages there that I can’t access. The two temp people there are working real hard to do their best in a very bad so but it’s not their fault. The USPO needs to do a much better job of financing and staffing its operations! Used to be that the postal service was as reliable as just breathing. What the heck happened?
