WE ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE A MAILMAN STOP BY DAILYEVEN WHEN WE HAVE NO MAIL FOR US. WE "ALWAYS" HAVE OUTGOING MAIL.TODAY HE PULLED INTO OUR LOT, DID NOT GET OUT FO THE TRUCK, AND DROVE OFF. WE HAVE CLOSE TO 50 PIECES OF MAIL TO GO OUT.. CAN YOU PASS THE WORD ALONG TO HAVE THEM STOP HERE EVERY DAY AND COME INSIDE. WE DO NOT HAVE AN OUTDOOR POSTAL BOX. TRIED C ALLING THE CAVE SPRING OFFICE, BUT I GUESS THEY ARE ON SIESTA. NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE.
I have made 2 appointments at passport office of 419 Rutherford Ave NE, Roanoke, VA 24022 - 4/19/2021 and 4/26/2021. When I arrived for the first date I was told the employee was not there and asked if someone had notified me (they did not). The second appointment I checked in at the postal desk and told them I was there for a passport appointment and was told to have a seat. During my 25 minute wait I asked twice if someone was going to help me. There were 2 people in the office when I arrived, they were both assisted and in the meantime multiple customers came and went while I sat, observed, and waited. I asked if I needed to reschedule and was rudely told "yes make another appointment online!"
I sent some mail to new York city on February 16 2021 part of it got there and the rest of it has not been found yet or return. Would like someone to email me about this issue
My package has been sitting in Roanoke, VA for 2 weeks. I haven't had anything delayed this long, ever. Local post office was not help. Just told me that because of covid, they can take all the time they want. It's after Christmas, so that can't be the problem either. I recommend anyone shipping anything you care about to use UPS, they are still able to function during this time.
My priority package has been sitting in a Roanoke for almost a month now waiting to be “sorted”. I have opened 2 cases only to have the USPS close the cases the very next day. My package contains antique textiles that can’t be replaced. It infuriates me that they are going up on rates to cover the cost for a job they don’t currently do correctly. I want my package , in my hands , undamaged. A month is too long to wait for a Priority package with a 2-3 day shipping time.
This week we have another new mail carrier, one of several we have had in the last several months. I live on the B side of 2806 Oakland Avenue NW and this mail carrier will not deliver my mail even though I have a mail box. All mail is being delivered to unit A. Attempts to call any post office have been unsuccessful as no one answers. No other mail carrier has had a problem with identifying where to deliver my mail.
They said they delivered my package but I never received it and no one at the post office will help or return my call. This wasn’t a cheap package and they put everyone else’s mail in my box.

Hi I live on liberty rd and I haven’t got my mail on4/28 and today on 4/29. It 3 pm and usually mail will come around 12 pm. What going on I know about the covid 19 but I am also a essential worker. Last week the mail came after 6 pm what going on. Let us know.
I have had a package lost for two weeks and when I tried to get help from my postoffice in Salem VA they sent out David Ayers to be incredibly rude and to get rid of me. He had no intention in helping me, he only was looking for a reason to get rid of me. I went to another employee to complain about how rude he was and David Ayers called security on me. He claimed I shoved my phone in his face when I showed him I had another postoffice employee on the phone from L.A. who was saying “I needed him”. he used this for a excuse to shut the door in my face and refused to help. If David Ayers in Salem is any representation of the post office I will never see my package again. I have worked with a number of employees and postmaster there and they all were professional. I am very concerned about my recent mail service. I do not normally complain, but I feel that I must send this info. The following has occurred in just the last week from 07/07/17 to today07/12/17. We have gotten our neighbors mail in our mailbox, carrier has not picked up mail even though the red marker flag on box was up, and today was the biggest concern. I had 2 pcs. Of junk mail in my box but a confidential piece of mail from my bank was laying in the road in front of my mailbox!!!!!! This is totally unacceptable!!!!!
hello...here with clerk. I bought 2 boxes 3 days ago, cmae back to return 2 box just to find out they don't accept return box ( unused, not a mark on it). Not to mention the clerk's attitude when she told me to give the box to someone else " it's jut a box", she said ! On the receipt, it said " all sales are final on stamps and postages". The box is clearly not in those categories.
Is there some reason that Postmen will not pick up mail you need sent out ( except on Saturdays ) from Apartment Complex individual apartment mail compartments when you have the correct postage on them, have them bound together with a rubber band with a note saying " To the Postman-- Could You Please Pick Up These Letters To Be Mailed ? " and when you check your mail the next day or the day after, your mail to be mailed out is still sitting in your mail compartment along with your new mail that you just received. I send a lot of mail to Europe and most of it is business, and when I put my mail to be picked up , bound together with it's sign on, out on a Thursday night or Friday am. because we get our mail in late afternoon , so you'd hope the Postman would pick up your mail to be sent as well as deliver your new mail. Then you go check your mail Friday night or Saturday and find your mail that was to have been picked up still sitting in your mail box and you know that it won't go out until Monday , if then, it truly is irritating. I am Disabled and cannot just jump in my car and go to the post office every time I need a letter mailed out, esp. overseas. If the Postman for 24018 Honeywood Lane, Roanoke doesn't want to have to pick up mail as well as deliver it, then maybe you all should place a Mail Collection Box on the complex. I have been LATE on some of my correspondence overseas and in the US because for some reason, my clearly marked pick up mail , is Not picked up. Postage rates going up when most people use email as much as they can because it's fast and cheap. Geez, I am almost to the point where FedEx would be worth it when I REALLY need to get a letter somewhere for Sure! Yes, I am irritated, just moved down to VA. a few months ago and maybe our Postman doesn't like that I get a ton of mail or that sometimes I cannot pick it up for a couple of days. I was in the hospital for a week.Over right before the Labor Day weekend
