I am having an issue with a package delivery. I needed to speak with a person to get it resolved. I called and called and called ALL DAY yesterday and no one EVER answered the phone. This is an issue I needed to speak with someone about. There is NO EXCUSE for someone there to not pick up the phone!!!
My package is now sitting at their post office. It is awaiting pick up. I live 2 hours away and CAN NOT come pick it up.
I have tried, yet again, to call them. And still no one is answering the phone.
So now I have a call in to the main USPS Customer Service number to try and get my package sent to where I currently live.

There One single place to park at the post office parking lot because the people are having a event and have used every parking space up to include the handicap spaces that we need. I thought you would be towed if you park there for any other thing other than post office business we do have a complete video of everybody’s tag numbers. This Event Took place Sunday May 7 we’re here at 10:35 in the morning.

I still have not received any mail for 3 days it is listed on the delivery but NOTHING has been received are we going back to only getting mail 2 or 3 days a week. Time to get the postal service up and running like before this new postmaster get some better qualified people who want to do the job

We just got our mails delivered today: August 18, 2021 after 5 days: we haven't received our mails! -ONE envelope was TORE off half and missing half part !!! we asked the mail deliver that she said: I DON'T KNOW, call the main post office in downtown and ask! Really? where another half part of the mail missing??? YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED to tear off our mails!!!! Late delivery and the mails are missing a part! what kind of post office in downtown Fredericksburg, VA is that???
We've been living here over 16 years in Fredericksburg-VA but NEVER ever happening to our ripped off mail missing!

On three separate occasions I have ordered things from Amazon. All tracking shows the package on its way. Each time the tracker says it was delivered. I never physically received the package. I am furious. If it was just once, that would be one thing. But THREE times?! Losing faith over here.

12/21/20 at about 11:00 am I was not able put my mail in Blue Mail Drop Box The box is overflowing with mail to be picked up. Anyone can reach their hand into the drop opening and remove mail if they desired. The box is located in the Chancellor Shopping Center on the drive across from the CVS store. Weis market and the State ABC store is also located in that shopping center. Please address this crucial situation. Thank you.

I do not know if mail is sorted before the the building before going to the mail truck, but I am tired of mail and packages going to the wrong address. My address is 2201, I have packages (3 times) going to 2101. Also, mail going to next door neighbor (Johnson, not sure of their number) Please have the drivers be more careful about checking the #s when delivering! The same thing happens to my neighbors. I have tried to call the Princess Anne office, always busy, I believe the line is on purpose left off hook, as my neighbor, Mrs. Jones, has also tried to call!

I didn't receive mail delivery service the day after the holiday, I did not receive mail delivery service on this past Saturday(9/19/2020) and I did not receive my mail this Monday (today - 09/21/2020). This Falmouth Post Office is the worst that I have ever seen, and me being an 18 year prior Postmaster, brings a sorrow to all customers experiencing this terrible service that I have never seen before now. Who is being held accountable for this crap service? What supervisor, what manager and what Postmaster do we discuss this turmoil with? Time for a Town Hall meeting? Neighbors in an uproar?

Not sure what is happening at Fredericksburg post office but I have 2 packages that were accepted by them on Monday but are still sitting there. This isn’t the first time this has happened in the past year. They can get here quickly but the Fredericksburg post office doesn’t process them for delivery. I will give it until Friday and then open an investigation. Shouldn’t have to do this!

I live in the Village of Idlewild in Fredericksburg, The new postal person has not place mail in our box for over three days. It was noted that they have been putting mail in some boxes but not all of them. They just bypass our mailbox all together. Please instruct to put mail in boxes and not take back to post office.

It has come to my attention that two people from my family had sent me birthday cards before September 18th. Here it is October 5th and nothing like that has come in the mail. They only live 2 hours away from me so I guess they are lost now. I didnt know anyone had sent me anything until yesterday, and my family wondered why I hadn't called to say thank you for the cards. I gave them the correct address and everything.

Mail box has been left open upon delivery of mail....mail gets stolen, left on the ground, etc. Have reported this matter for the past two months (in person & over the phone) and nothing has improved. This morning (8/23/17) I called again, asked for the supervisory for my area and was transferred to a "really concerned" personality name Jamie...who stated she would look into this matter. Based on her enthusiasm.....I won't bet my life on it! I have to do more than just show up for my paycheck....what's with the non-cooperation at this post office?

I had a very negative experience with rude and inept upper management at the Princess Anne PO earlier this year. I filed a formal complaint with the USPS Inspector General's Office. They followed up with me and assured me that changes to educate the employees and improve customer service would be made. Within, one and a half months, I began to notice a difference in the attitudes of the employees. They were mandated to show each customer the customer survey information at the bottom of their receipt. They smile more and they greet you more favorably. I can truly say that I have observed positive change as a result of my complaint. I even saw the "post master" working the register. Now when I call the Princess Anne PO someone actually answers and helps me. Hold your public servants accountable!

Changed the drop off date for held mail from July 3 to June 26. 4 days later still no mail. Filed a complaint and asked when mail would be delivered. I was told it would take 3-5 days to get an answer from the Princess Anne Branch. Called Princess Anne PO. phone just rings and rings-no answer and no answering machine. I was supposed to leave on another trip today. Can't go without my previous batch of mail. VERY POOR SERVICE!!! Needs new supervisor!!!

I have found the Fredericksburg office to be careless and incompetent. I live in an Apartment community, they leave packages in front of my door, which have been stolen twice. I called to let them know NOT to leave packages in front of my door, please take to rental office...that did no good...lazy shiftless workers.

I went to the Princess Ann Branch to ask about getting a Passport for my great granddaughter. The employee's were rude and not helpful at all. They seems like they did not want you be bothered. Did not even have time to answer a question, in fact the lady that lady that made a appointment for me told me she did not answer any questions and would not even ask someone else for me. Do I made the appointment but decided not to keep it. I went you the Sealston Post Office where the employee's are very friendly ,professional and are there to help their customers.

Thank you for this post and recommendation for Sealston Post office. I was facing the difficulties of the Fredericksburg post office not answering the phones and wasn't sure what to do about it, but luckily Sealston answered the phone right away and scheduled the first available appointment and answered any questions I had. Extremely helpful at sealston.

I also had a very difficult time at the Fredericksburg location trying to get a passport. We had an appointment. We had pictures already. We had the application filled out for four people in advance. The lady Sharon was rude, disrespectful and offered no assistance whatsoever. She was immediately angry that there were five of us and she only had us down for four appointment. I explained that only four of us needed passports. She did not want to do her job. She looked everything over and told me "to read the instructions" when I had written in one place I shouldn't have. I have not met anyone as rude and nasty as this woman in a verrrrry long time. This is why we don't want to deal with the USPS. I would rather give my money to UPS than be treated like a piece of gum under someone's shoe. I made a formal complaint to the OIG's office. I do hope they follow up. I will need to get the kids out of school early again, and have my husband leave early from work so we can all have another appointment. But I am going to do it in King George. Stay away from Fredericksburg and may karma catch up with Sharon one of these days.

Pathetic - 30 plus minutes os a BUSY signal at the Princes Anne Office!!!! Also - a package incorrectly delivered and USPS said, oh well we WON'T redeliver today even though it was priority and the carriers SCREW UP!! Way to go, no wonder privatization will replace the post office very soon.
I would LOVE to talk to someone who may be willing to hold someone accountable and also want to file a formal complaint with the USPS OIG...so please contact me.

How does the Fredericksburg post office get away with having a published number and no one ever answers. It's as if they take the phones off hook all day so as not to provide service. I called all day and tried at 5:29 and someone finally answered. Post office closes at 5:30. Interesting that they finally answered at 5:29.
