Why is my packages always delayed in your post office? Then you change the time it was in your possession everyday! I hope your post office is looked into!!! I wouldn’t give you any stars but I had to give you one!!!

On a Saturday morning I called the local Ashland office and spoke with Crista. She was the most helpful and empathetic person I’ve dealt with in a very long time. She took on a mistake that I made but went above and beyond what typical people do. They are lucky to have her!

The two 'gentlemen' at the front desk should retire. The utter lack of concern and zero client service skills...it's appalling. And there is NO management. They won't even answer the phone!!!

What is going on with package delivery? The residents of Ashland have noticed undue delays in delivering packages that are clearly at the Ashland Post office per the tracking information. Packages reported Lost suddenly go out for delivery on an outdated jeep-mail truck. Same jeep is seen in neighborhoods delivering just boxes because the mail couriers refuse to deliver them? How long are the packages allowed to sit at the post office before being put on the jeep?

My wife and I both have ordered items that are to be delivered by usps, but half the time we don’t get them. And have to contact the sender and mark it as lost. I live in sedgefield trailer park with 3 streets with a 129 house number. But the streets are different. This weekend CVS mailed my meds posted it delivered on Saturday but to the wrong address. When I got the package on Sunday hand delivered by a woman I don’t know, it was opened. Nothing missing just heart meds. Before my wife ordered a shirt for our daughter and we never got it but another kid around the corner did. The mail carrier sucks and has for past 4-5 years.

I was in on March 19, 2021. Poorest service of any post office in this area, the rest of them are great! One worker came out, asked if everybody was OK, and turned around and disappeared before anyone could answer. Another worker just walked around and ignored everyone. There was only one who helped everyone waiting in line. Most of the line had to wait while the customer at the front of the line discussed stamps for quite a while.

so when is the post office going to come into the 20th century and be open some time while others are NOT at work? I mean 830-5? even dr offices are staying open more hours than that. No wonder the post office goes downhill A person has to take time off work to even go there to do any business.

I have been under the sway of the Ashland Post office for 34 years,13 as a rural route patron, and the last 21 as a Post Office Box holder. I like the Ashland Post Office very much. Everyone, including the clerks and the custodian are very pleasant and efficient. Anyone who is complaining about them has not dealt with them very much. I have had no problems, and they have been very helpful in particular situations, including a problem I was having with my late aunt's mail at another post office. If they can't answer the phone, it is because they are understaffed and waiting on customers who are in the building.

I live in Cheroy Woods, and checked my mail Saturday, fining "trash" along the road. The trash turned out to be Personal Information in the form of a my payroll statement and two letters from VA Dept. of Taxation to my wife. Anonymous got it right, no one picks up the phone. I really would like to talk to someone to inform the supervisor of the situation. Delivery in the past was great, but this issue warrants attention.

A gentleman called me and stated that the mail carrier delivered a very expensive item to him. He was honest and polite enough to place the item in our box. Every Holiday we have issues. This post office is a joke. We have had more issues the 35 years we have lived here. What a shame.....

Needed to get a mailbox key from this location, calling them direct, they would just let the phone ring and not answer. It is EXTREMELY hard to get in contact with them without having to drive all the way up there.
