A total mess!!! When is it ok for a mail carrier to deliver the mail when he wants to? We dont get delivery everyday. We have important documents that are mailed to us and we never get them! Need some serious revamping of a new postmaster and mail carriers!!

This is the first post office I have ever been in that does not provide a sorting table and trash can in the lobby. This lobby has plenty of room. There was a trash can when I first signed up for a po box but that was removed. This does not give the appearance of good customer service. I do not get to visit the customer service desk often but the experience has been mixed. I would agree with other reviews that indicate this is not a very friendly office.

Honestly, this post office is terrible. Just terrible. Some of the worst service I have ever encountered. My package has been sitting at this office for days and I can't pick it up myself. Why on earth is this post office so slow? Are the employees here just lazy? That could explain why other people have not had their mail delivered due to some fake "interference". Is this office just understaffed? Who knows. I just know that the Heber City Post Office fuc king sucks and the people there are lazy pieces of shi t. Fuc k you.

They won't deliver my packages due to "animal interference" when there has been none. Our dogs have not barked, bitten, growled, etc at them once. There hasn't ever been a problem until recently. Just because your carriers don't want to walk up to my porch and drop off a package that won't fit into the mail doesn't mean you should write it off as something else. At the very least if you're going to be a lazy ass, inform me that I need to come and pick it up myself.

The postal service sucks. I've got a package I'm waiting for that should have been here at a certain time. I checked the tracking and it said an attempt was made but couldn't be delivered. Funny thing is I was outside in the front at the time the supposed attempt was made. Not even any tire marks in the gravel I'm front of the mail box

Same thing happened to me not to long ago. I ordered a stroller and they put that my mailbox was full so my package could not be delivered, when a stroller can not fit inside a mailbox and they were just to lazy to bring it to my door.

This is the worst post office service that I have ever encountered. My neighbors have been bringing my mail to me for the last 3 years. I have had several packages marked as delivered when they where not. Tracking shows delivered in/at mail box. I've taken miss delivered packages three blocks away and delivered them myself. They are no help when you contact them.

I have not had my mail delivered for a week or so, but with holidays and all I was not to concerned, until I ordered a package. It said it was attempted to be delivered and left notice. No notice was left and my package was at the post office. When I called the post office I was told that my mail was there and that i was not being delivered because I had not cleared properly my street, not sidewalk or drive way, my street. Now I understand that a walk way I created was not enough for my mailman to get out and walk 4 steps to deliver my mail that I have to clear the path big enough so he can drive up to my mail box, but a notice would be nice something to tell me, hey you're not getting mail until you clear a path so I don't have to get out of the mail cart. Rant over. Good luck dealing with this post office. Ultimately I will startlooking for other options to have my packages delivered.

I came to this site to get the phone number and was a little
surprised at the vitriol of the two (at this time) other posts. In general,
having bought and sold many items on eBay, I find the USPS to be proficient. I
used to use UPS or FedEx but have found the USPS to be less expensive and
equally capable. Regarding the Heber City office, I have only been in there
once, in March, to get my mail redirected to my home in NJ as I won’t be moving
to my new home in Heber City until a few weeks from now. I found the staff to
be extremely friendly and competent. I’m sure, like everyone else, they make
mistakes and these Comments Sections will tend to attract bad reviews because
people are generally more eager to complain than offer praise (sorry for the religious
connotation) so, here are my words to help balance the scales. I’m looking
forward to my first Christmas in Heber City and wish you all, particularly the
USPS folk, a merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Live long and prosper.

If by some chance you find yourself in need to send an urgent package from this po-dunk outfit, I would strongly urge you to reconsider.
Issue #1
They are in no hurry to help you. I repeat NO HURRY
Issue #2
If you are in need to overnight a package to Salt Lake City for $20 (3x the gas money it would take for you to drive it there yourself) then you are in luck, this is the place for you. For the rest of humanity who may be in need to send an overnight elsewhere because heaven forbid you have business outside of Heber City, then my friend you are what we like to call SOL. Overnight shipping may as well not exist, confusing as it may be with their large sign that largely states OVERNIGHT SHIPPING on it.
Issue #3
Their employees are what I would like to describe as less than desirable. Not too sure if they are upset at their own choices that they made in their life that landed them their current job, if they are upset at their customers for coming into the post office (our sincerest apologies as consumers), or if they're glasses are extremely out of focus in thinking they are an authority figure--newsflash--you couldn't be viewed in a more opposite manner. FYI the public does not leap for joy when we need to go to the post office, in fact, now I cringe when it is placed on my to do list. Not just because they are slow, falsely advertised and unpleasant to be around, but let's face it-no one wants to spend their time in a low-grade, classless environment that the USPS seems to radiate.

I was waiting for an important package. For the last 3 days I have been tracking the progress from CA to Heber. I was relieved when I tracked it to find that it was marked "Out for Delivery" I made sure that my wife was home all day to make sure it was deliverable. I was surprised when I got home from work and found that the mail hadn't been delivered. I logged on to USPS to track it and it said: "We attempted to deliver your item at 1:34 pm on July 15, 2013 in HEBER CITY, UT 84032 and a notice was left. You may arrange redelivery by visiting http://www.usps.com/redelivery or calling 800-ASK-USPS, or may pick up the item at the Post Office indicated on the notice. If this item is unclaimed after 15 business days then it will be returned to sender. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later. I know for a fact that no attempt to deliver was made. When I asked my kids, they told me that they saw the mailman drive past the house without stopping. The note said that a notice was left. No notice was left. There is no excuse that it was not delivered other than the pure laziness of the deliverer. The parcel was on the truck, We were home, and it was not delivered. Customer Service like this is why the USPS is in financial trouble. Very Upset and will purposefully seek out delivery alternatives whenever possible with UPS, FedEx, OnTrac or anyone else to avoid the incompetence of the USPS.
