Do not trust Waxahachie US mail to deliver your mail even close to on time.
I just received on 05/17/17 two pieces of urgent mail mailed on 04/04/2017 and 04/05/2017. My water bill came the same way and I had to pay a penalty for being late.
I have no ides how many have been missed.
Looks to me like a building full of screw ups.
This Post Office is HORRIBLE! I have been living in this town for almost a year, I am handicap in a wheelchair and have made a minimum of 4 attempts to discuss my limitations with this Post Office. My mailbox is located across a bust street of which I cannot go to, they have not made any attempts to help me. They NEVER deliver packages to my door and leave notices in my mailbox (found in the mail and collected when my husband comes home once weekly from his out of town job that attempts were made to deliver. Josh or Jason (i'm to upset to remember his name) claims he is the manager just hung up in my face after first trying to say i didn't answer the door, then I must not have a door bell, then when these scenarios didn't work he said the mailman had restrictions and can't lift packages so if he can't "drive" into my driveway he cannot deliver the package. I told him all the mailman would have to do was to walk into the gate and deliver the package, he told me NO, I would need to leave the big gate open so that they could drive in. (So apparently it's my fault for being handicap and not feeling comfortable leaving access for anyone to just drive to my front door). So as I told him I could not believe what he was saying to me he started saying goodbye, I told him I was not done, he told me "I have customers", I told him "I am a customer" and he hung up in my face. This is not my first run in with this "manager" it's always the same he is horrible, he's rude and disrespectful, I HATE THIS POST OFFICE
This post office should be shut down. Red Oak gives much better service. I have been trying to get a key for the community mailbox in my complex since I moved to this address on November 1.They lost my hold mail card. The post master won't call me back. Consumer affairs is no help. All I hear is a different lie from them every day. I still don't have access to my mail and have only had held mail 2 times in the last month. All they are concerned with us that they're short handed and working long hours. They say there is a different carrier nearly every day doing my area. There is no accountability. Customer service is not a priority for them. No wonder UPS and Fed-Ex is taking their business.
