Complaint - (How can I describe what just happened w/out giving details, like my address??) It is 3:43pm on 11/28/20 as I type this. Packages were just left about 10 minutes ago, ON THE DRIVEWAY.....IN THE RAIN. Each package was about 30 lbs. I am 71 yrs old & can b-a-r-e-l-y lift them. The wife is handicapped. One female child cannot lift them at all. The other male child works nights and is sound asleep at this time. Therefore, there was NO one to retrieve the packages out of the rain. I manhandled them the best I could, & managed to get them onto the COVERED porch by myself. Are there any P.O. rules about leaving packages outside in inclement weather?

Without giving my address.....a-g-a-i-n, I have a new, though minor complaint - please ask drivers to turn around ON my driveway & not go off in the yard. My property is very, VERY low, and stays wet most of the time, thereby causing deep ruts in the yard from their tires. It may take 2-3 times of see sawing back & forth, but one can turn around on the driveway. (BTW, I tried this post as a new post, and the computer said to delete the old complaint 1st???? #1, there seems no way to do that, and #2, what if one does have more than one complaint).

RE: 9361289671007078114938 This delivery, and (at least) two others were left on our sidewalk sometime this afternoon. Two smaller soft packages were left on the porch, and the 6th package was left in our mailbox. I have no idea if our regular mail person left them all, or, if you sub contracted part of them to FedEx or UPS. BUT...whoever did it, they GOUGED OUT our lawn in a H-U-G-E semi-circle with deep DEEP tire tracks!!! They made NO attempt to back up & turn around, but simply turned around ON our yard!!!!!!! :(( I would like to file a formal complaint & the name of the driver, who should by all rights, apologize. I have photos if I can have an e-mail address with which to send them.

Sad service at this post office. Cramming packages into my mail box, that I have to tear into just to get it out! Thought I was going to have to destroy my mail box to remove my package! And forget about trying to reach them by phone. They won't pick it up, but instead choose to leave it off the hook.

The post office in Silsbee, Texas is the worst post office I have ever had to deal with. My package was the only package that arrived on Saturday January 28, 2017. My daughter had sent it from Indiana. The medium flat rate box had my name, address, and a tracking number. The so-called postal woman told me she scanned the "only box" that arrived that morning, but gave it to another lady. She told me the other woman receives many packages and I guess without looking at the name and P.O. Box number assumed the package was for the lady who receives many packages. My P.O. Box is two digits from the other lady's P.O. Box number who gets many packages. That postal worker obviously did not take the time to read the name and the P.O. Box so she gave a complete stranger a package containing my mail, my medication, my license plate stickers (which my plates expire 1/31/17), my new insurance card and new insurance information which contains my name, date of birth, and social security number, and a box of jewelry that I had purchased. I am extremely anger and the postal worker was rude and would not give me the postmaster's name. I will be back there tomorrow morning and I pray that the ignorant postal worker loses her job. She has no business handling important information of others.
