Went to this post office today to mail the passport renewal applications for my wife and I. The process didn't go so well (my fault) and the line was super long, but the day was saved by Angel. He got us old folks straightened out. He was super knowledgeable and patient. Two thumbs up. He is THE BEST. Thank you Angel.

I have "Informed Delivery" and my sons replacement social security card never made it to our mailbox on the day it was supposed to. Its been 3 weeks and nothing! Also I called the SS office and they said nothing was returned to them. He was also schedule to receive 3 letters from the IRS on November 3,2030 and nothing again! These are the only things I have never received per my informed delivery.  I too think someone is stealing our mail!

I'm pretty sure someone from this post office stole my refund check and cashed it. I have informed delivery and it never made it into my mailbox on the day I should have received it. All the other mail for that day was delivered except for that check. Now I'm having to deal with the company that sent it to me trying to get a replacement check.

For the past 2 days I’ve attempted 2 days and now 3 days to retrieve my mail. I have tried coming in the morning, afternoon and evening and at different times. The line has been extremely long and there is only one individual working the window. What can be done to resolve this problem?!

My mailbox was changed, no one told my partner or myself. No new keys were given to us. We have been unable to get anyone on the phone. I have an hour for lunch and can't stand in their obnoxiously long line because it takes longer than my entire lunch break. We haven't been able to get our mail.

I get diabetic meds and other medical items through mail, so I need access to the mailbox . Why do I have to drive all the way to Richland Hills from 1604 and New Guilbeau. First went to Leon Valley post office they said had to go to Heritage, a new post office is needed for NW San Antonio. Please let me know what I need to do for new lock and key, have not been able to access mailbox since 5/27/2022Thank you for your help

We are an assisted living facility in San Antonio Tx 78245. Since the start of the COVID pandemic our residents mail has been left in our Independent Living section, which has approximately 500 residents, for us to pick up, sort, and deliver to our residents here. We were told that the mailman, Andrew Martinez, did not have to follow the screening protocols because they were "the post office". I will tell you that we know that is a lie but we have put up with it. We asked Andrew to return to delivery of mail to our facility yesterday. Because he does enter a resident care area we are mandated that everyone sign in and have their temperature taken. We have a kiosk that takes about maybe 30 seconds to sign into. I am sure whoever is getting this email understands the restrictions that we have all been under and being a postal worker does not exempt you from a process. We also have several residents whose family gets their mail due to different issues with dementia being one of those. We have asked for their mail to be left in the office with us to send out. The check in kiosk, office and mail boxes are within a 8 foot range. It is not acceptable that the mail man does not service our area now that we have had some restrictions lifted. Our address is 5200 John D. Ryan Blvd. 78245. We are a large campus of a continuum of care. Our independent living address is 5100 John D. Ryan Blvd. 78245. I need this issue addressed ASAP.

Please let us know when our mail will return to normal delivery since all the mail box thefts?? We CANNOT KEEP coming every day to wait in line 2 -3 hrs just to get our mail. People have very important things sent through USPS. Please Fix the internal investigation or tell us what is going on?????????? What happened?? Fix the problem pleeeeeeeease. If it's an internal issue of a postal employee please fix it quicker and dissolve their employment. Easy fix. THEN reset the keys to all community mailbox that had mass thefts recently. MAKE A NEW MASTER KEY YOU ALL TOLD us there that could be the hold up. !!!!! OUR MAILMAN told us this could have been the problem but he "didnt know for sure" and do a better Security clearance background check on All employees.- NOTE FOR SUPERVISOR/MANAGE/POSTMASTER. This is, very suspicious. I hold the Postal service as a highly responsible FEDERAL JOB ! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE in a 1st world country. I think you ALL know that too. As a human being I have lost faith completely in the USPS and especially the Richland Hills Loc.

The pick up window is a broken process. ONE person who has one speed (absolutely no sense of urgency) is responsible for issuing mail box keys and finding packages in the labyrinth that is their hold facility. I stood in line for 40 minutes and moved exactly 2 spaces (thanks to C-19 I know how many spots were there and that were served). I like many people foolishly thought they could pick up my package during a lunch break only to learn that the only way to manage a pick up seems to be to have to take a full day off of work to stand line. THIS IS DISCRASEFULL! I watched several elderly have to leave the line as there was no way to sit and surly no facilities if one were in need. Pregnant women and mobility challenged as well forced to stand while the ONE PERSON continued to shuffle about and make an appearance at the window every 10-20 minutes!! Plus up your staff and get organized! Coming back and telling people their package can't be found at this time and to come back because he can't look any longer due to the line is unacceptable (young lady told me that's what she was told to do after waiting God knows how long). Pizza places can do it better than the USPS and don't get paid a quarter of what a Postal employee erns (Start salary $72,391 as posted right here on this website!). You could hire 4 summer hires for less than that and get re-organized to stop wasting everyone's time. As for my package, I was forced to give up and try the "reschedule delivery" option. I have no faith in it, the last time I tried my package never arrived. This time it's insured so one way or another I'll get but I pray I don't have to file a claim. Heritage is a prime candidate for a Defenders Investigation if ever there was one.

Can not think of a worse service, of any kind. Makes no sense to call local office, there is never an answer. Will only ring and ring then go to busy signal. I "refused delivery" on a package, per sender's advise and USPS advise, but can not track package. 13 days after sending package back, "tracking" only shows that it was delivered to me. Calling any USPS "customer service" number, local or toll free is useless. However, USPS will absolutely make sure that "junk mail" gets delivered.

WORST POST OFFICE EVER!!! Always a long wait, and very unorganized. Put in for mailbox box on April 11. And its now May 19 and still have not gotten a key. Spoke with two managers weeks apart and they told me they would take care of it. LIES!! I spoke with Art Lozano who said he was a manager last Wednesday 04/13/2020 and he assured me that my key would be placed at my door on Thursday or Friday and to call him if I had any issues. But you cannot even get through to them on the phone. NO ONE picks up. Super annoying and unprofessional. Wish there was another office that i could work from to get shit done!! Cause they are not about anything here!!!

This Post Office feels like Covid-19 central. I feel like I am taking my life in my hands every time I go there. Always a line out the door; people too close together; large package drop off too close to the self-postage machine. now they have moved the passport section to the opposite end of the counter so you cannot even drop off packages there for a quick in and out. What a mess!! I should not be put in danger every time I have to mail a package and I should not be penalized because I supplement my income by selling items on eBay which requires me to go to the post office more than I care to.

This is probably the WORST post office I've ever dealt with. For starters, the hours of operation are very inconvenient for anybody working a normal full-time job. Nobody ever answers the phone and the employees always seem to be in a bad mood when you go in person. Some of the mailboxes in our neighborhood had been broken into and it took several months for them to be fixed. The boxes were finally fixed last week and we weren't advised of that until I went on a Sat. morning and waited in line for 45+ mins to get my mail. I was told to use the key that I had previously and it doesn't work. I absolutely HATE dealing with this place, it sucks we have no other options in our area.

I just moved to the area and had mail that arrived earlier than expected. I did not set up hold mail, but I had be notified that my package had arrived. The Supervisor (Ms. Ida) was very kind and listened to my concern. She took my number and called me back after speaking with the postman - just as she said she would. I would like to thank Ms. Ida for her help, patience and excellent customer service.

I truly believe this office is responsible for too large of an area in San Antonio. We reside closer to the Castroville office but have to have the Heritage office deliver our mail. Our neighborhood experiences MANY errors in delivery. This concerns us in many ways. Fear of our privacy being violated is a major issue. Frustration in timing of receipt of needed package is another. Much more is discussed in our Neighborhood with so much disatisfaction. Now with bomb packages being delivered to homes even attempts to be delivered via commercial means, concerns us gravely as packages are often delivered to the wrong home or mailbox.

I have had them not deliver mail because I did not live at my residence. I ordered the package to be delivered. They never pickup the phone. It took a week for my package to be redelivered. I have had to contact every credit card to tell them that I still live there as I have not moved, but they notified them of an address change that I didn't submit. I am very frustrated. This last time, a package was delivered to a cluster box within the neighborhood, but they didn't leave a key. One package was a gift for my spouse for Valentine's Day and it got here late. I am truthfully frustrated!!

They need to fire all those who deliver mail through my area the post office seems not to care it has been an ongoing headache of trying to find out why I have not received important mail such as bills and other stuff. They hire civilian who are not USPS Permanent employees. They seem not to be properly trained I just got a letter from my Home issue that deal with my mortgage and stated to me to call and find out where I am living at? The personnel stated to me that they received mailed as undeliverable yet I been living same address since 2010. Been having issue starting in late 2016. So they are confusing my address with another same number but different street name and our names do not even resemble and neither do the street name. they hire uneducated people who can't read I assume because it still happening. Sitting in my living room on this wet rainy blustery day, and all of the sudden I hear a loud thud on my porch. I got up to look and the gift I ordered for my husbands birthday was thrown on my porch by the mail man, in the rain with absolutely no regard for its contents. I stopped the mail man as he was driving away and asked him why he did not knock on the door instead of just throwing it. He told me he couldn't open the gate (a simple child gate), he did not try because I would have heard it. I told him you threw it and left it out in the open in the rain, he said "it ain't raining", and it was pouring. The box was wet, I was wet. Ughhhh, this is not the first time we have awful service and the employees don't give a darn, they know they won't be fired. We need to take the postal service away from the government and make it privately run. It works, our current system does not. Just so you are aware of the service area, Ray Lieck off Talley Road. The carrier is HORRIBLE.

For almost a year, if not a year, we have had our mailbox broken into and poorly repaired, and again they have been destroyed. We residents have to go and wait in long lines for our mail at the Post office, and because of the lines, they hurry and give us bit’s and pieces of our mail. Usually the junk mail (not sure if we are getting all our mail), after waiting in these long lines. Is the Post office going to repair these boxes? These are in the middle of our neighborhood, apart from the dilemma it is for us to not have our mail at our disposal. One of my neighbors (elderly man) called me to see if I can help with getting our boxes repaired since he receives medicines and it is not convenient for him to go daily to the Post office. Can you reply with a solution, whether you will have them replaced or repaired as many residents are inconvenienced because of the damaged mailboxes. Please fix the problem of the broken mailboxes going on around a year?

This is the worst service i ever received at a post office. I arrive at post office at 945 am on day before Thanksgiving 2015. i inquire about status of on hold mail that I put in a new address a week in a half ago.Not one mail clerk informed me of 3 weeks to month resuming of mail to new address. When iI asked a time estimate i was told dont know, ask me the on hold department. So i go to the on hold department and wait 15 minutes. After 15 minutes of the mail employee trying to find where mail was they rudely said you do not have mail go to mail clerk. I go back to mail clerk as instructed and they say you should of been here a hour ago. We could of resolved this issue today but our mailmen just left a hour ago. So I state that I am full time student and could not be there a hour ago. So they refer me to a Supervisor who refused to give her name. She ask who want to speak to a supervisor, as if I was bothering her from doing her job in a rude tone of voice. When I explain that no on in entire facility would resolve the issue of if the mail resumed or not and where it was and no one had a answer. I did not request a supervisor, the mail clerk waiting on me called for a supervisor . So for 15 minutes for the suoervisor, and another 15 minutes as she tries to locate mail. Finally she got so irritated and mad that she couldnt quickly resolve the problem. That she rudely saids that I should of knew it takes 3 week or more for mail to get to new address. Then I inform her no one of the 3 employees informed me of this. That this is the first of me hearing and this is all i need to know at this point. Then she proceeds to scream and front me off in front of all 5 mail employees as they watched and listened with 3 employees in lobby. They hear her say you told me and i want to speak to your husband. Have him come in so i can talk to him. Then she proceeds to question him and then rudely say you said this not that to me about the time period twice. i interrupt her and say i will not let you continue to be rude and disrespectful and you have no answer to the question of where the mail is. After this she continues to raise her voice and leave out the facility while she is still raising her voice in front of everyone. This was done in front of customers and employees and she had no problem behaving in this manner. If i did not leave this may have continued. I was appalled at the unfriendly, unprofressional, rude, disrespectful, customer service given to military disabled veteran. Sadly this is the only post office in San Antonio that I been to the provides customer service in this manner. And unfortunately, this is the closest post office location and my form of transportation from College is the Via bus on my way home. Something needs to be done about the level of customer service that is provided at this location. Every review list is bad and not one good review for this location. This means all of us can not wrong. This is Thanksgiving so tomorrow morning I will call the postmaster.
