I’m very disappointed with this location. I have had numerous pieces of mail not reaching there destination. I use the drive through location and physical drop my mail in the outside mailbox. But they didn’t reach where they was sent. Now I know everything is not perfect, however this is happening more often causing late fees to be added to my bills etc. What is going on down there?

The comments regarding this post office are very disturbing, to say the least. However, what is extremely unacceptable and inexcusable, is the fact that over a 3yr period, NOTHING HAS CHANGED OR EVEN BEEN ADDRESSED! This is pitiful

Reading these complaints makes me understand why I can not get my mail from the Ladies down here in Sabine Pass. I work until 4 pm.. They close at 1 pm and refuse to place on a larger box.

The Port Arthur,Tx post office lost my income tax check. The have incompetent workers that deliver the mail. The white lady that's in the front always try to give black people a hard time. How do you have someone delivering the mail that can't read addresses. Then when you go up there they feed you a line of bullshit and I bet when you walk out the door they are laughing at you. The postmasters need to be fired because they incompetent people working there. It's saf they don't take time out train the workers. They let them fail

This post office in port arthur is the WORST!!! They WILL NOT deliver big packages and LIE about delivering it. Someone there is stwaling our things. What the h!$l is wrong with the postal service? The worst customer service EVER!! And not one EVER ANSWERS the phone!!! WHO do I call that can make a difference? Obviously the Superior's there dont give a crap either!! They shpuld be turned in, shut down and another post office take over this location. THE WORST EVER!!! I worked for the postal service. These carriers mark things as delivered to make it looks like they are delivering it, and then they NEVER deliver it. I've had jewelry, a gazebo, dog food and so many other things no delivered and Í cant proce it so therefore the vendor wont cover it!! THEFT needs to be dealt with, this is RIDICULOUS!! I try to tell vendors and companys to NEVER use the postal service!!! Shut THEM DOWN!! Tell your vendors and companys to use other means of deliveries via other sources!! Lets show them they suck and we dont NEED them!!! The only way to fix it now is BOYCOTT them!!!!!

Mail a package on dec 29th...its been sitting at port arthur since 158am on jan 3rd 2021. Why hasn't it been delivered or sent back to me. It was to be delivered the 4th. I mailed out 2 other packages the same time and the others have been delivered. Numerous negative remarks about the post office in Port Arthur. I just want my package delivered with said items or returned to me with said items.

I have been tracking my mail for weeks it was sent to orange then back to houston then to Port Arthur my tracking said it was delivered in/at mail box I have a mail slot on my house you could not slide that packages in my tracking said it was delivered nothing was left at door checked all day

I'm so disappointed in the port arthur post office. Received a box today that had been deliberately opened and products taken. Not replaceable because they were one of kind. The mail lady said she taped the box herself. Why would the post office even put that on her truck? Somebody's stealing. Also had a large envelope about a month prior that was delivered open. Product taken out. The package revealed something with sparkle on the inside. They hot business cards that cost me 40.00. So if anyone shows off their new crystal collection,be Leary of a thief. To file a claim with post office,is difficult to even find the form.they send that to you,but you have only 15 days to report. Wonder how long it will take them to send?

Our regular mail carrier has been off this week..no one on our street which is Date street have been recieving their mail or packages. Several of us have ring door bells and packages being tracked are saying attempted delivery but this is not true as we can see if any one attempted a delivery..this has been an ongoing problem unless one particular person is working...do the employees not know what the penalties are for mail fraud?

I am totally confused about a so called delivery. I have a package that I have been tracking. Post office claim that they left a notice that no one was available to accept package. I was home because I got a notice that it was on the truck. I don't know what address they left the notice but not at my address. cannot get a confirmation because you cannot speak with anyone by phone. This is my second time I've had a problem not receiving a package. My neighbor deliver each other mail all the time

I am waiting for a package from the Port Arthur Mail station and it arrived there on Jul 28. It is apparently been stolen or the Post Office has employing people who take mail from the people in Port Arthur. If my package does not reach me soon, I will call the Fraud department of the USPS. You cannot reach a person and the call line has a waiting time of 1 hour, and 30 minutes. This is a disgrace. I will never have another package delivered by USPS, only UPS abd Federal Express.

No mail for a week. The regularly postman is a great employee. Is he on vacation? There must be major problems with service. Last month I had 3 delivers in one day by 3 indifferent carriers. I am unable to contact this post office by phone, they refus to answer. I have a problem receiving mail for Dead People, some of whome have never lived at this address, When I send it back, stamped return to sender, or writen return to sender, they keep dumping it back in may mail box. Who do I need to talk to about this???? at one time the Postal Servce had a card I could fill out of the valid reciprents for my address, is their anyone who can help me and how are these peoples names being linked to this address?

Informed Delivery Daily Digest is fantastic! I know what is supposed to be in my mailbox every day before it arrives! Only problem is, it also demonstrates how inefficient the Port Arthur Post Office is! I have received NO MAIL for three days even though my email shows many letters are supposed to be delivered. I have received UPS and Fed EX, but no US MAIL!

Good afternoon, it is now 5:08pm my mail carrier came about 20 minutes ago well the woman who took the new young man place for today so she said rushing when I asked. My grandson, son-in-law and I heard a loud noise at the door and we jump the front door was open. She through a package I have been waiting for on the cement floor outside of the front door and broke the package. I demand a replacement by the time I went outside to holler at her she was all the way down the street I waited and she didn't come yet then when i came back to the door i seen her leave in the mail truck and I couldn't get to her in time I tried calling 3 times at the post office in the mean time and no one answered at the office I couldn't leave a message because they said it's full I would appreciate somebody contacting me my number is 409 549 9992. Apparently ya'll are having trouble with your phones today 01/27/17. Over the past 2 months or so, I have called several times and also spoke to the lady that delivers to WILLOWLAKE APARTMENT HOMES. The last time I called I spoke with Ms Weber, Monday 23rd, I think. We moved from Apt. 417 to Apt.2020 in October 2016. THANKFULLY, no one has moved into #417 or I would not be able to get my mail..... important mail, like medication, my new 2017 Medicare card, Railroad retirement board information that was time sensitive and I had like 15 days to respond, or I could take a chance of loosing my benefits. Well I got it 1 month later. I just responded this week, so hopefully I will receive February's payment!!!!!!!!! I have changed all of the addresses that I can think of. This is unacceptable! This is more a complaint than a review. My post office in Port Arthur TX ..phone 409-983-3423 has given us horrible service the last two weeks. Late deliveries (sometimes after 7pm) and yesterday no delivery at all. None in my entire complex of 15 units. Tried calling the above phone number this morning and still trying ...it's "busy". which I suspect they have taken it off the hook. Adding to this earlier in the week our mail was delivered by the Port Arthur PO Post Master himself in his personal vehicle wearing a shirt and tie...I really would appreciate this situation being looked into and a return email to such finding. Very Frustrated in Port Arthur Texas.
