I have an important time-sensitive question but canNOT get anyone to answer the phone! 😩 I’m calling from out of town and have called literally 28 times today. I guess since it’s sprinkling out no one had to work today??? It’s ridiculously frustrating! IP’s postal system is a complete joke!

Day 2….. another 32 attempts to call the Iowa Park post office with AGAIN….NO ANSWER!! Beyond upset at this point. Tried to find a way to contact the postmaster & officer in charge, Tommy L Gilbreath, also unsuccessfully. Seems to be no way to complain or communicate issues in order to have them corrected or rectified. If anyone has any other options please comment!

All I want to know is the price of a money order. Ive called the Iowa Park Post Office numerous times to ask this question, but no one aanswers. Are the Postal emoyees there not allowed to answer their phone when it rings? Also, I recently stood in line for 25 minutes waiting for two female customers and the male Postal clerk to finish laughing g and talking about old times together. I had just gotten off work from a really hard day. Finally, after they had finished their visit with each other, I was asked if I needed anything. Customer service at Iowa Park Post Office is non existent.

I am curious about the postal service here as well. I can somewhat understand maybe during bad weather they want to go against their motto. "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds" but I've also grown up I the country around here and the mail always ran. Not only that, I have what's called informed delivery, which shows the mail I'm to receive each day and some days it may be a few days later or the same day like it's supposed to be. I guess what it books down to is the USPS is fighting for government help when they aren't actually doing their jobs. So, maybe if they weren't so lazy and more productive everyone would save on tax dollars.

I had an important letter to go out Tuesday so I posted it at the mail box (rose the red flag) Saturday arrived and it was still out there. I just drove to the post office and posted it there. I don't understand the pre-school I passed was open and the businesses were open... are we paying taxes for this?

This town is trash... if it's cold, NO mail delivery. Cops confiscating more property than theives steal (FBI stats). High school sports infested with steroid use. City officials intering back yards to steal dogs not registered. Poor city services and high taxes.

Wow, 58 years and NEVER a service disruption, and SUDDENLY no mail for 4 days... please. I've been out... the roads are graded. It's delivery by jeep... and they can't even do that... 10 almost new USPS jeeps are sitting in the P.O. parking lot. McDonalds, Sonic and Taco Bell have been open and have people in line through the drive-thurs... but NO MAIL. These peole are LOSERS and look for any excuse not todo their job. Welcome to the new socialism.

Refused to deliver deliver in 21 F weather... 6 inche of snow but roads are clear... No resedential delivery for 2 days. But it's -22 in Superior WI and the mail was delivered. Nice four wheel drives sitting unused in the Post Office parking lot... Shameful. Laziest people in the world live and DON'T work in Iowa Park.
