Postal Locations

Post office does not respect privacy. I live in The Netherlands. My best friend lives in Hamilton. Every package I send the postal workers in Hamilton open my packages because they do not have X-ray machine and The Netherlands is a drug country..?? I have spoken to US Postal Office international mail. International post checks packages. Is not Hamiltons job. They have informed me Hamilton has no right to open packages unless there is a reason like a ticking sound or smell of marijuana. I mail gifts that The Hamilton post has broken. I wrap the things with newspapers that they can read but they are destroyed by the person who opens everything up to make sure it is not drugs, Now I am forced to get insurance so I can get my money back when they break things, This is nonsense. I also see no reason for them to read my mail. That it may have powder in the envelope is not a reason to open my mail. I am a retired woman who makes things and paints, I am not a drug dealer.

Best Post Office I've ever dealt with. Friendly and correct delivery every time.
